I found this hotel close to the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus where I wanted to visit, AND attended the 70th Epidaurus Festival’s first night theatre performance (6/27/2025). I joined the bus tour (organized by Key Tour) from Athens, left the tour at Epidaurus (the last sightseeing stop), and then arrived at this hotel. The super-friendly front desk lady welcomed me. I rested for a few hours before returning to the theatre. I had trouble finding a taxi, but then the hotel owner took me there! There was a restaurant, “Alkion”, located 200m from the hotel, which he also owns and manages.
I had a truly authentic and delicious Greek dinner there. All family members, mom and pop, grandpa, daughters, work there, and it has a warm atmosphere. I walked back to the hotel. (No one is walking since it’s a remote area but it’s safe! )
The hotel serves breakfast in the quiet patio, and everyone seemed super relaxed in this remote, cozy hotel.
I would love to go back there, to the people/family in that place. You all made my trip wonderful! Thank you!
