Hanim is a magic little boutique hotel run by genuine persons with great values and spirit, who will make you have a memorable stay.

Beautiful accommodation (stayed in a recently refurbished modern room for four people) in the heart of old Chania Town. These family run apartments are spotless and the service offered by the staff was superb; we were welcomed on our first night with a 'kerasma' (a Greek sweet) even though we got there after midnight! It felt like our home away from home; I will be going back. These accommodations helped make my trip the most memorable and relaxing. A big thank you to the girls!

This place is truly amazing. Hospitality at its best. The staff makes you feel like a family member, not a just another guest. They'll help with anything you can possibly think of. Every single recommendation made we were utterly impressed with. The breakfast, which is prepared by a wizard, is a MUST! You'll never have the same thing twice and always so delicious. Cooked with true passion. Other things to mention are the rooftop deck. Go up and relax overlooking the Venetian harbor with a glass of wine. When we come back, no question, we're staying here.

The best hotel breakfast ever! Socrates has the touch of a real chef and adding the background story on the local products, used to prepare the food, makes the experience trully remarkable. Great place with great people. Totally worth a visit.

I don’t know where to start to give just a glimpse of how much we love this place and the owners! First the place itself, tasteful decoration, cosy, chilling almost feels like home. Then the owners, sharing, delightful, they’re giving so much for us to enjoy a real marvelous Cretan experience… And last but not least, the Socrates breakfast/lunch! Colorful, tasty, home made from local organic products, unforgettable :) With their smile and kindness Rena and Socrates will make feel like never leaving this place…

Home away from home! The place I always choose for my visits to Chania town. Rena, Socrates, Mado, Rania and Anna have become close friends. The rooms are comfortable and you can feel that real passion went into designing spaces where you can be at ease and relax while you enjoy the best hospitality that Chania has to offer.

Fantastic place. The owners are great. Socrates ' breakfast can compete for the best breakfast in the world. It's more of the kitchen it's gastronomy. At the Michelin Socrates would be starry and it is a Frenchman who tell you.

I won't stay anywhere else when I visit Chania! Rena, Socrates, Mado, and Rania have become close friends and I feel like family when I stay with them. I am not alone! They have many repeat visitors and make them all feel very welcome! The rooms are clean, spacious and well furnished and the breakfast is out of this world! Plain and simple the most awesome place to stay. The rooms are modern, remodeled and super clean. However we couldnt wait for the awsome breakfast Sócrates was preparing fresh for every guest from local producers. We will be back for sure!

Don't miss the breakfast, this is 5 star superb deluxe, all made only of local and organic Cretan food, unbelievable individual and delicious. Be sure to listen to the owners' tips and you will get to know the nicest beaches, the most beautiful restaurants offering real local food at affordable prices and the coolest places where all the locals go. If you like to spend a really interesting time full of new experiences in Crete then this is a must!
