Breakfast at Bali Diamond Hotel was served at the pool bar next to the bigger swimming pool. Yup, there are 2 swimming pools at Bali Diamond – the smaller one being right below the balcony of our room.
The breakfast at Bali Diamond Hotel is a buffet served across 3 long tables. There’s a section that serves salad, fruits and breads. On another, the pastries and hot food items including tomatoes and eggs. Lastly, the drinks of juices, coffee and cereals. Although the selection was quite limited, we enjoyed the Greek pastries and yoghurt. Yum!
We also love it that the there were tables by the swimming pool and when the sun rose, the warmth made the breakfast that much more enjoyable…

It was fine but in my opinion not as good as the other reviews say it is. I feel like it would be perfectly good if it advertised itself as a three start hotel rather than a four star hotel because there wasn't anything very wrong but almost everything had a small thing that was a bit annoying or impractical and it was a bit of a shame. On the positive side the beach is very near and it's one of the best beaches I've been to on this trip — very clean with clear water. The breakfast staff was also really great, and the rest of the staff was fine. The biggest problem by far is that our room was on the same level as the swimming pool and breakfast area and the door is not sound proofed so it was very loud and impossible for me to sleep in. The rest was mostly small things like for example the fact that you only get one key and it controls the A/C so you can't have one person go to the breakfast while the other sleeps in without either the sleeping person losing A/C or having to wake up to open the door for the other. This was supposed to be the second best hotel on our trip based on star ratings and price per night and yet it was the only hotel with this issue.
Overall I'd say it's fine if you set your expectations as if for a three star hotel and choose it for the location.

We went there 14th to 21st Oct 2025, lovely hotel and staff but built on a hill which is ok if the lifts work as it’s like a maze with flights of steps to everywhere and some rooms don’t have lifts to them so you have to carry your very heavy cases to get there, lift out of action on arrival with promise of it’s going to be fixed, never fixed, lovely rooms and views, very clean but the breakfast is disgusting, cooked before 8 then laid out in the back of the bar, 8 to 10 so if you arrive at 10 you will be eating fried eggs etc that have sat on UNCOVERED food warmers for over 2 hours, nothing is cooked fresh for you, never known this before, do they think this is how we eat at home! We personally like a cooked breakfast so we stuck to jam on toast, plenty of fruit and yoghurts etc, lovely location but woukd choose another hotel if we went back.
