Reviews of Ville du Soleil - exclusive homes with rustic charm and panoramic seaview
We stayed at Ville du Soleil for the first two weeks of August in one of the detached villas. We had a few concerns about traveling during the pandemic but all of our questions were quickly answered by Kostas and Manuela by email. They were on hand to meet us at check-in and always available throughout our stay. They are excellent hosts who care about their guests and can answer any questions you may have. The villa was covid secure and all protocols had been followed and for a few weeks it was great to be able to forget about the outside world.
The villas are large and the downstairs area much bigger than we were expecting and the addition of a downstairs WC and shower was a nice surprise. The second twin room is also a great size as is the master and wonderful terrace which overlooks a stunning view. There are lots of extra little touches such as the hose pipes outside, the outside dining area downstairs, the washing machine, the large storage cupboard, the coffee machine, the amazing air con in all rooms, the fully equipped kitchen and a hammock for the terrace which helps to make the villa feel like a home from home. The villa is light and made from the most glorious stone and decorated in a modern yet traditional way. It has everything you need and plenty of storage space and well-appointed rooms.
I have not slept this well for a long time and it has been wonderful to sleep in a cool room and open your bedroom window to see the sea and mountains.
