Slight issue with our room on arrival but the Manager quickly dealt with it — was so helpful and nothing was a problem at all. All staff were helpful and smiley, kids club was awesome — pool and beach facilities outstanding! Buffet breakfast and dinner were ridiculously good and make sure you try local wine too. Everything is kept meticulously clean and sanitised, and rooms thoroughly cleaned every day. So impressed. Very sad to go home, we’re all very relaxed and probably a couple of kilograms heavier from eating our body weight in feta. Would definitely come back here. Thanks to you all x.

A very clean and nice hotel and also close to Rethymnon a super nice city.
The large beach tents are highly recommended, so you also have a bit of privacy and of course the service directly on the beach.

Despite Corona recommended as hygiene and distance are adhered to.

Here is very friendly staff, all are very super nice. From a hygienic point of view, there are no concerns at all. Super tasty food and fast condition. I can recommend the hotel. Of course, you can always find something that is not right, but for that I am sorry for the time on holiday. Thank you for the good care!

In the first place, the very friendly staff, the wonderful food out in the morning and in the Evening, the entire facility is beautiful. We have booked for next year in October again.

We had the most wonderful holiday in October 2019. Attentive and excellent staff, lovely clean hotel a truly great experience. Accomodated gluten free and dairy free meals for myself. Entertainment team were excellent. Beach was lovely and clean with plenty of sun loungers. On site shop where you can buy essentials and a lovely Kafenion too. We had a great experience and will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to everyone at the Grecotel Creta Palace for a wonderful holiday.

Excellent hotel. Fantastic amenities. Friendly and professional staff. Not cheap but definitely beautiful. Very spacious.

Nice hotel would only rate 4 star though, staff friendly and helpful. We went for B&B option as like the village Tavernas for authentic Greek life, not the sterile hotel life.
Would have tried the restaurant but you need a mortgage to eat there for a week as 76 Euros for a buffet dinner drinks extra is very very expensive as is the light snack daytime menu, 7 euros for a small plate of fries.
Would recommend anyone staying b&b go out of hotel turn left walk to nearest village 10 minutes away for great meals and bars.

Excellent hotel with nice rooms (we have been in main building) and entertainment areas. Polite, professional and friendly staff. We had wonderful holidays here. Hope we will back :)

I really have not had the greatest experience here for several reasons. The sense of what hospitality is less than average. Although some of the staff is polite and kind helps make up for staff that just simply don’t get what providing excellent customer service. The Manager himself is abrasive and not professional, pretty much be prepared that the accommodations and options are quite antiquated. The buffet each night is primarily the same, the rooms are less than comfortable and pleasant, dark and depressing. The beach is just OK.

Nice place. Good for family people and couples. The sea can be rough. You should use special shoes as the beach is not sandy. Staff is polite. Food is good.

We had a very bad experience at Creta Hotel during our honey moon, we had no special treatment from Creta Palace even though they knew we were on our honey moon (vs the other 3 hotels that treated us in a wonderful way), plus we found that the hotel is too loud and packed with families and kids (its impossible to have a romantic breakfast without paying BIG fees for something private) when we shared this feedback with the staff they simply replied "you are not at the right place, we are a family hotel". So skip this place if you are looking for a romantic stay as a couple.

Great clean hotel with friendly, service-minded and welcoming staff. Good opportunities to go to the beach as well as relax at the pool. Good buffet for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some rooms are definitely better than others (newer and renovated), and the prices of snacks and food are quite high.

For hotel, the beach is rocky, but it is clean and warm. The pool is excellent. Breakfast is very good. 4 stars instead of five only because if the Rocky and very quickly deep beach.

One of my favorites is on Crete. Yes, it's not cheap. But it's worth the money. If you want a quality holiday, you here. A good rest is made up of little things. So here all these little things are provided!

It's cool! The best hotel in the world! Be sure to come again!

This is a beautiful sprawling Hotel. Privacy if you want quiet and full of activities for those who need an active life. It is full of interesting decor from chunks of coral to life size animals in the gardens. Service is prompt and discrete, and very friendly. There are several restaurants from a brasserie to seafood and Asian food. It is child friendly they have a children's pool and playground, trips to a farm, where you can help with the animals and growing of the produce. There are many small shops for necessities and souvenirs. You can walk into town or take a bus or taxi… 2 or 3 kilometers. There is an adult pool and the Hotel is situated on a long beach with chairs, parasols, showers and a snack and drinks bar. To me it is perfection.

Super Hotel for family holidays (party goers can safely pass by). Very attentive staff, great service. Overall everything is on the level!

We had booked half board and also came to enjoy charge in the bungalow with its own pool + famous class upgraded. It was a fantastic week with excellent breakfast and dinner buffet with fresh, daily changing delicious dishes. The staff was always friendly and very accommodating. We would love to come back!

Great stay for the kids!, very good-natured and responsive staff! But! 1) The hotel is old, the hotel rooms for 3, san. Knots-3, Territory-4, food-4, pool-4. In a word-far not 5 *, really 4 *. You have to know what to pay for!

We went on the last day of our holiday as we had to leave the villa at 10am and our flight wasn't until 8pm. I booked an Aromatherpy massage and it was wonderful, it was probably one of the best massages I've ever had! Unfortunately, it was let down by the general run down atmosphere of the spa. I highly recommend the massages, I just wouldn't stay for the day.

Amazing place for a Greek beach vacation. Usually, we come back from vacation eagerly wanting to eat some healthy food, but at The Creta Palace the food was healthy and outstanding as was the service in nearly every aspect. The only exception was that the dinner was typically cleaned up 30 prior to closing time and the staff was not so pleasant about it, but it is a bit understandable considering the long hours that they keep.

80/90s feel and room decor to match. General staff very friendly, beach and breakfast the highlights of our 5 night stay. Stay away if you are single, young or old couple as this is baby and toddler hotel. Expect tantrums, screaming pool sessions and messy breakfast atmosphere. For young families however this should be a good option albeit the ageing room decor and high price make it a poor choice. At 450 Euro per night you would expect something special from a Grecotel.

Beautiful, comfortable, funny, fantastic, PERFECT! The food was great, the room was big and pretty, the gardens are wonderful and the swimming pools are fantastic. Also the beach is great. I want to return there!

That stuff Inga Di 1 post remained unchanged. Complement:your beach towels everywhere and how I want, kids to the kids club can take a 10, pick 17, will take to feed, Russian speaking animators with them constantly, and there cooking classes and football and crafts. + children's pool with slides (my 6-12years) enough + great climbing wall for kids (free, sign up and walk). Car did not, to Rethymnon reached on foot or by taxi, there is something to see, where to walk. The food is very decent, very like it, so it's a children's kitchen (there is a separate Department in the restaurant, where there are separately boiled 2 kinds of broth, 3 trays with slices (beef-chicken-fish, 3 kinds of vegetables and herbs. You have a small and naughty baby is very picky in food — can make him some soup myself. Can smaltite in a blender and make puree very fine. The staff is friendly, without molestation, problems at home were not. In the room there is no kettle-cups (took 2-room apartment), but somehow it didn't need to ask, you probably can). Animation children almost every night: clowns, acrobats, masters for the production of tableware, for girls the "be a model" (nothing special, but the daughter of 3-5 days can be alloyed in preparation for the passage on the podium in front of the whole hotel. Nice Hotel but the standard rooms are not at a 5 star level (very old furniture). Great for kids with many activities. Minus: Too many russians and ukrainians. They are very unpolite, arrogant and rude. If you leave your sunbed for swimming they just take your towels and throw it on the beach and occupy your bed. Also on the nice breakfast buffet they act like they are the only ones there.

Well personally, I liked it.

Very, very nice. Focuses on a family vacation. For children — a magnificent Kids Club. They are there for something on the ground grow, something Cook on your personal kitchenette, all the time in the evening, they have — dance, as it should be. Products-organic restaurant, with the farm Agreko. On this farm you can go on the tour, and in no time, different program constantly, depending on what has grown, matured. We have been three times. 1-honey collection. 2-baked bread. 3-it was the national dinner. Children immediately at the entrance to pull and lead to occupational-) they bake their bread, Zoo-fed farm animals in General parents rest while children case. The beach at a very wide, sand, very clean. In the sea I think stones. Food is just unreal. Sometimes it is a pity that only one stomach and it is impossible to try everything). When we went, the youngest was only one year old (and old) when asked about food preferences, and every day prepared her pûreški of meat, vegetables without salt. The way children eat whole day free, even if the parents only breakfast or half board (at least this was the case). On dochkin ETC for dinner, the hotel staff has prepared her cake with candle, sent a postcard with congratulations, really nice it was.
