On the edge of Malia, at first glance not very convenient location, to the sea 20 minutes on foot, but after a few days and seeing other options, I begin to understand that is not so bad!. It will be difficult with children! But you can live! The rooms are very clean, tidy, the staff is very friendly and friendly… The pool area is large and comfortable. There is no internet in the rooms, only in common areas… And there is no TV, but this is not a disadvantage if you come to rest! This is the pros! The daily fitness to the sea and back compensates the partially missed gym at home, and getting to know the local surroundings allows you to get closer. In the course of traffic to the sea a sufficient number of shops and cafes, where you can have a great snack and buy the necessary prices are moderate. You can also see how local farmers are doing their farming: potatoes, grapes, pumpkins, banana palms, chickens, cows, etc… Local Flavor! In short, I recommend staying here in Malia, Crete in Greece! We loved it! Impressions are the most positive! The sea is super! Clean and beautiful! There are little things, and you can get used to the rest!

Wonderful hosts. To the sea 10-12 minutes on foot, bus stop opposite, a decent pool. Everything is super. Clean.

I like that Nikos Hotel is not in the centre so it's quite (besides Mondays when you may expect big techno party just opposite site). I dont like the fact that pool at the bar is closed at 7pm, this is big disadventage that is why 4 stars. Towers changed once a week, breakfast the same every day but in principle good when you take a look at the price.

Rooms very clean, great staff, room doesn t have TV and you have to pay for aircon, cleaning is rare.

It was at the beginning of the season, when it was not so loudly discos. It's not the center, but that's what I liked, the beach is very good, but it's 10-15 minutes away.
The breakfast was very good. It's clean and tidy inside. The air conditioner didn't even use it, there was no need for it, so it's probably paid for, like everywhere else.

Very cold water in pool! Loud noise around hotel. Very clear in room and frendly staff.
