Nestled amidst a green forest, this 18th-century mansion is located in the scenic Apokoronas of the Chania region. Its luxurious units offer country-style kitchens and are equipped with flat-screen TV. In keeping with the traditional architecture, the rustic villas and studios feature stone-built walls and courtyards. Each is unique, and most have a fireplace in the living room, while others have bathroom with spa bath. Guests receive a welcome basket with local products upon arrival. All villas’ kitchens are equipped with drinks, bottled water and coffee. Guests also have the opportunity to participate in the harvesting, wine making and the creation of raki, and other famous Cretan products. A taverna can be found within 500 metres from the property. The property was not even close to what was advertised — the room we got was dark and smelly, no proper cleaning was done and they were doing a renovation / rebuilding just besides our door (June 2018). It was so disappointing, that we had to go looking for another property that same night — which costed us extra money and nerves. Also we haven't received the 50% refund that we were promised — had to complain to booking com again, then only that way we got it — 2 months later. (And unfortunately couldn't leave the review in booking com, cause it was marked as a 'no show'. ).
