We have just returned from a fabulous week in Villa Almyra. The owners have done a wonderful job creating three superbly appointed villas (we had a look round the other two) that have breathtaking westerly views and are located within a really short stroll from Almyrida which offers warm clear/clean sea, sandy beaches and a plenty of restaurants, tavernas etc. The villa configuration worked really well for our family (My wife and I, plus three kids in early 20’s), but would also work well for other combinations as all three bedrooms are generously sized with their own bathrooms etc. The owner gave us a really personal welcome, and clearly takes great pride in ensuring her guests enjoy their vacation. Her team of staff (who came into the villa almost every day) were charming and we felt really pampered. We fully intend to return, hopefully very soon!

Wonderful villa, superbly appointed, beautiful pool with attentive owners for whom nothing is too much trouble. There is no downside to this villa. Gentle downhill stroll to a variety of lovely restaurants and shops.

We had an amazing time the villa is so luxurious. We spent most of the week round the fabulous pool relaxing. Katerina and the team are amazing.

Absolutely stunning villa in a great location! We took a multi generational family trip — grandmother aged 74, plus children aged 3, 7, 8 and the position of the villa made it easy to walk to the beach and to the restaurants in the evening. The villa is so comfortable with the most beautiful view and Katerina the owner was so helpful with restaurant suggestions and bookings. It was a truly relaxing and wonderful holiday!

6 adults on a family holiday. Something for everyone 😁 Our keep fit daughter and her husband enjoyed yoga and made good use of the weights on the lawn whilst enjoying magnificent views.
Our other daughter and her partner enjoyed the pool and sea swimming 🏊‍♀️.

This villa has EVERYTHING you need to enjoy a perfect holiday. We have enjoyed many villas but what sets this one apart is the views. Sunset was unbelievable.

So good we keep coming back! If you want to really relax this place is for you. Swim in the sea or in your pool. Walk to the small town or drive, bus or taxi to the gorgeous Chania. This is our sixth trip back and these villas are simply the best. Beautiful architectural designed villas the attention to detail in everything and sunset views, daily cleaning service and the amazing Katerina and Pavlos as hosts who truly understand service like no other! I’ve traveled here with small children, friends, teenagers, grandparents plenty of room for all. Genuinely it’s paradise, the best place we’ve ever stayed in. Don’t miss out!

This villa is absolutely beautiful, with fantastic outdoor space. The infinity pool overlooking the sea and the town is stunning. There was plenty of space for sunbathing and for sitting in the shade (excellent views of the sunset from the patio and the balconies). The living space and bedrooms are very well designed and had everything we needed. Our host, Katerina, was so welcoming and helpful (also providing us with great recommendations and help with reserving restaurants). Everywhere was beautifully maintained, and our cleaning team did an amazing job keeping the villa spotless. The villa location is excellent with a short walk to the village (great restaurants), and we loved the little cove for swimming in the sea within a few minutes walk. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic week staying in Villa Ammo’s. The Villa is really comfortable, clean and has everything you could need. We were very well looked after by Katerina and the amazing team that keep the Villa in perfect condition. The pool and grounds are lovely and well maintained. The Village with many restaurants, cafes and shops is a 10 minute walk and the beaches are even closer. An ideal family location satisfying all 3 generations in our party.

We stayed as a family of 6 (2 children (6, 3), 2 adults and 2 grandparents). We wanted a luxurious villa and to relax and recharge rather than explore. The villa suited us perfectly for this. It was very comfortable and very spacious. The pool is excellent — we did pay to have it heated which I think was necessary for the children. The views were stunning from inside the property and in the garden and pool area. We were looked after so well by Katherina and her team. Katerina arranged a supermarket shop for us before our trip and for Maria to visit and provide 3 massages on the balcony (for a similar price to what you would pay in the UK). The villa was kept very clean and comfortable for us throughout our stay.
We spent our days in the pool and playing games on the grass area — perfect with youngish children. Another reason for choosing this villa was its proximity to the local restaurants and this worked out perfectly — we could easily walk or get a take away from the local restaurants. We spent a few nights eating take away meals of chicken souvlaki watching the sunset at the big table at the villa — Thai worked well for us for relaxing with the children.
I’m sure you could hire a car and easily explore that just wasn’t what we were looking for this trip. And we were fine without a car, but still able to access the bakery, restaurants, beach etc.

Perfect in every way! We had a two week stay and the longer we were here, the more we enjoyed the villa and the area. There is an outstanding team that manages this property. Wonderful in every way.

Perfect villa, it had all we hoped for and more. Great views, prime spot to watch the sunset while lounging by the swimming pool. Short walking distance to reataurants, mini market, and beach. Katerina was a great host. Would definitely visit again with our family.

We had a wonderful time here! The house is absolutely beautiful with a stunning view overlooking the ocean and town. The pool was lovely and heated for our stay. Katerina made sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back again soon!

Wonderful luxury villa. Perfect location just a few minutes walk from the village but far enough away to enjoy the solitude. Magnificent views and sunsets across the bay from the villa. The apartment was beautifully appointed. We are desperate to return.

We stayed 11 days at Villa Almira and really enjoyed it. The villa was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, with amazing views over Souda Bay and up to the White Mountains. The heated pool was a must in April—we all enjoyed it.
There’s a nice snorkeling spot just a short walk away. Beach, shops and tavernas were in nearby Almyrida village, easy to reach on foot.
Katerina and the team were friendly and helpful, and the welcome basket with local treats was a nice touch. Would happily return.

This was our second visit to Ammos villa and just as good as the first. The villa is immaculate and well thought out, with everything you need. The view of the sunset from the pool cannot be beaten.
Katerina is always available to arrange taxis, restaurant reservations with great tables and she helped us plan a couple of excursions as well. Nothing is too much trouble.
The villa, the location, the service and care — SK Place ticks all the boxes and we would highly recommend it.

We have just returned from the most perfect family holiday in Villa Almyra. We have rented several villas in Crete over the last few years and this was, by far and away, the best we have stayed in. The villa is beautiful and the views are simply stunning.
Katerina is a wonderful host — very professional and friendly. From the booking process to the pre-arrival information to the welcome, everything was very easy for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Katerina organised a massage at the villa for my daughter and I (the massage was excellent) and she was more than happy to book restaurants etc. Her homemade marmalade is amazing too!
When we arrived, the villa was spotless. Mrs Lili and Maria do a fantastic job. They were also extremely friendly and professional too!
The villa itself is beautiful and designed to a very high standard and the grounds and pool are immaculate. The location was perfect for us — just a short walk to Almyrida beach with its choice of restaurants and tavernas. Many of the restaurants do take-away too which was great for evenings when we wanted to relax at the villa.
As it was October and the end of the season, a few of the restaurants were starting to close down but there was still plenty of choice. All of the restaurants were fantastic with extremely friendly service.
The villa is in a superb location for exploring Crete. We did day trips to Chania, Rethymno and Falassarna — all are within easy reach.
