Elena Seafront Luxury Apartments

If you are going to Crete and want accommodation somewhere in the perfect middle by the sea between larger cities like Chania or Rhetymno, Almyrida is a great choice.
This accommodation caught our attention from the first look at the photos. It offered a sea view, a modern interior and private parking in the accommodation area.
Before your arrival, the very kind owners will send you all the information and instructions for accommodation, including photos and videos of the place and the room.
Even during our arrival, when our suitcase with our wedding dress was lost at the airport, the owners Elena and Nikos did not hesitate to help and called the airport in Chania to find out where the suitcase was and how we would eventually be able to get it so that we could have the dress for our wedding.
The room has modern amenities and a balcony with a sea view. My wife and I enjoyed dinner from local restaurants on the balcony in the evenings and listened to the sound of the waves.
We will always remember our stay at Elena Seafront Luxury Apartments fondly.

We stayed in a first floor, sea-view apartment for 2 weeks and had the best experience ever!
Best location, beautiful modern apartment well-appointed and maintained, clean with regular and flexible service, if needed. Aspasia (the cleaner) was a lovely lady, providing a highly efficient service.
The biggest asset though of this place is Elena and her husband Nikos who run a wonderful business with an outstanding service and an approach to customer which is unique! They kept in touch with us almost daily to make sure we were happy and provided any kind of help we needed, instantly. The airline we travelled with lost one of our cases and Elena got involved straight away, used her contacts at the airport and did not stop until she got our case found it and had it returned to our apartment. She provided us with comprehensive and detailed guide of places to visit and how to get there. Unbelievable service and one we have never experienced before… and we travel extensively around the world, staying in various types of accommodation.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone, without any hesitation. If you planning to stay in Almyrida, don't bother looking anywhere else — just book with Elena!

I mean, rooms are fine for the price. The location is the real best thing about it. Right on the main road but far enough to be quite. Not quite the view as some pictures suggest (really depends on what room you get/pay for) but overall good experience, totally recommend. Almyrida is gorgeous from that point and location and really removes any need for a car during your stay.

Apartment number 7 😍 Super stylish, beautifully decorated. Everything you could possibly want/need here. Shower is amazing… bed is super comfy… views from balcony superb.
The owners, Nikos & Elena are wonderful. Came to welcome us, laden with gifts including home baked sweet & savoury pies, biscuits, huge platter of fresh fruits, tomatoes, cucumbers, olive oil, oregano, wine, rusks etc. We feasted over & over.
The lady looking after the apartment, Aspa, was so sweet & helpful. She kept the place immaculate at all times & was unobtrusive.

Overall rate is 6/5. The apartment is equipped with all you need. It was very clean and.
Comfortbale. Beds were extremely comfortable. Apartment location is very close to the beach and in the center of Almyrida, close to shops and very good taverns and restaurants.
The contact with hosts was great. Elena, Nikos and their kids are very friendly and made our stay in.
Almyrida unforgettable.

Just returned from a 4 week stay in these apartments. Such a fantastic find, a perfect place to stay!
Elena and Nikos, the owners made the booking and check in very smooth and even organised our airport transfers.
When we arrived, very late at night they had kindly left a welcome pack which had everything we needed for a cuppa and snack and even breakfast the following morning.
Our whole stay was fabulous. The apartments are so well equipped and the showers in the bathroom are fantastic.
Almyrida itself is beautiful. The lil tavernas line the path along the sea front and every one of them, without exception was so friendly and welcoming.
Elena and Nikos visited us several times and always had time to give suggestions and advice on travel around the area and things to see.
We are already discussing returning next summer!

Perfect spot for a relaxing stay. The apartment, number 4, was stylish, clean and had a beautiful sea view. Steps away from everything Almyrida has to offer. Elena and Nikos were friendly and welcoming. No pool, but the sea and beach are just across the road. Highly recommend:

We stayed for 7 days (6 nights) as a family of three with a baby and had a great experience. Highlights include:

• Clean and comfortable apartment – spotless with a priceless sea view.
• Great beds – we slept really well; the mattress was just right (not too soft or hard), and pillows came in soft and firm options.
• Great value for money – high quality for the price.
• Good location – quiet area with nice restaurants nearby; we especially liked Costanita and Dimitris just below the apartment.
• Convenient for exploring – easy drives to Kalyves, Chania, and nearby spots.
• Bonus – 10% discount on car rental arranged through Elena.
PS: If the windows are open in Apartment 7, you may hear some noise from the restaurants below. We personally didn’t mind, as closing the windows made it quiet. If you’re sensitive to noise, Apartments 1–4 are located inside the complex and might be a better choice.
A calm, family-friendly place to stay with everything you need—highly recommended.

Just returned from a week staying at Elena’s lovely apartment. The apartment had everything we needed and Elena and Nikos were really attentive and friendly. We had an amazing balcony where you could watch life go by and chill. We would highly recommend staying here and we will be returning for sure.

My wife and I have just stayed at Elena apartments for 9 nights in October.
On entering our apartment for the first time, we were delighted by the size of the space and the quality of the interior fitments and finish.
We had room 5. It is a really lovely, large upstairs room, there is a well fitted kitchen, a large very bed and a spacious modern bathroom.
Oh and Elena even left a chocolate cake for us on our arrival and it was delicious.
Elena and her husband Nicos came to visit us to ensure we had everything we need and to see if wanted any advice on places to visit.
At the top of the stairs to the upper floor rooms is a large open terrance with a large table and chairs. We sat there on an evening chatting and playing games with our friends who were staying in the next apartment. It was also a good place to sit for some afternoon or early evening sun.
There is also a private balcony for each apartment offering either a full front seat view or in our case a sea view looking more towards the harbour and Plaka.
As regards size and quality these apartments really take some beating. We have stayed in a great number of different apartments and studios in more than 40 Greek Islands and this is amongst the very best of them.
I would highly recommend the accommodation to anyone who is thinking about Almyrida. It is a really nice resort and the apartments are first class.
I hope I can still get a room when I come to book next year.

We stayed on apartment number 5 with fantastic view for the sea. Apartment was very clean with gifts from ours amazing hosts Elena and Nikos. They were very helpful alway kind and do the best to make our holiday best ever. Strongly recommend 👌

From the word go Elena and Nikos couldn't have been more helpful, both leading up to our stay and whilst we were there. They are truly the perfect hosts, always quick to reply to any question asked — even the request for them to put some beer and water in our fridge before we arrived was done with a smile :-)
We arrived late but had a wonderful welcome with a delicious chocolate cake, baked by Elena, waiting for us and we certainly couldn't have been more pleased when we saw the light & airy, spotlessly clean apartment that was to be our home away from home for the next 9 days.
Our beds were very comfortable and we had two balconies to choose from (Flat 1). Although we didn't cook ourselves, the kitchen was stocked with everything we would have needed had we decided to. The lovely Eva who looked after our room always greeted us with a big smile and a kalimera — thank you Eva!
Elena Apartments is just a two minute walk from the closest beach and also from one of our favourite restaurants in Almyrida — "Dimitris". The best tzatziki ever! Another great place especially for breakfast & and evening drinks, is "Francoise". A gem of a place just a three minute walk from the apartment. Here I would also like to mention Hassan Cafe, a beach cafe with sunbeds (not a lot) that are free to use for customers. We always got a wonderful welcome here.

Me and my wife had very nice stay in a clean and well equipped apartment. Nice host who advised us when we arrived. Almyrida is a small tourits town with a few good restaurants. Small beaches with reasonable prices for renting a sun bed.
We will be back.

Best place to stay with the best owners. Clean and beautiful all days we where there. Lovely beds and apartments with everything you need to cook if you dont want to eat out. Close to everything but you don't get disturbed by the main street with restaurants. Absolutely not the last time there for me.

Great location for exploring Crete! Chania is just half an hour drive. Beach is a minute by foot. Apartment is very comfortable and spacious, very well equipped, especially the kitchen which has everything. There is no need to use AC, because there is a nice breeze when you open windows. Very clean — towels and bed linen are changed regularly. Beach towels are also provided, as well as toiletries. Owners are extremely warmhearted and cordial! We felt very welcomed.

Elena and Nikos were so nice, they waited for us on the first day when we arrived after midnight due to a plane delay and welcomed us with local products and a cake made just by Elena. Outstanding!
The apartment is in a perfect location, convenient, central with all the comforts. The village then is very nice, there are beaches, restaurants, bars, supermarkets. In short everything for a quiet and relaxing vacation.
We were with 2 small children 1 and 4 years old and for us it was perfect.
I really recommend this solution and the hostes were amazing!

Location is perfect. Almyrida is a quiet and not so crowded place. The beach is great for small and even bigger kids. Elena Apartments are great — spacious, clean, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Internet is also good, with minor stoppages. The owners are very dedicated and caring, very friendly and warm. There is a parking lot in the yard, two car rental companies next to the property. Several bakeries, a lot of restaurants and supermarket, as well as other shops — all in max 10 minutes walking from the property. Apartment cleaning every 2nd day, towels and bed sheets change — everything is way better than the Greek average. We are seriously considering coming back.
