Aloe Boutique Hotel & Suites

We have just spent 3 nights at the Aloe Boutique Hotel and do not know where to begin. Our stay was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the friendliness, professionalism and care from all staff from managers to the cleaning team was exceptional.
The food was outstanding and the staff took great care and attention to my gluten free needs, ensuring I was never at risk of falling ill at any meal time.
Our room was a perfect and beautiful first floor split-level room with the most stunning views of the sea and pool and everything about the hotel was first class, which was perfect for celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival in our room we received a lovely card, along with a bottle of Prosecco, which was so thoughtful.
The pool area was never crowded and the water was perfect. The beautiful beach is literally opposite the hotel and the water is the clearest I’ve ever seen. There are plenty of places to have a drink or a meal along the beachfront, as well as a well stocked mini supermarket, which also sells any beach essentials.
The hotel is in a small village so if you’re looking for quiet relaxation, this is the place for you.
We will never forget our perfect stay in such a beautiful place and we will definitely return.

There are no words to describe how perfect this hotel is and how it holds a special place in our hearts when we got engaged here! We have recently returned from a 7 night stay in this gorgeous boutique hotel, on our last day my boyfriend surprised me with a proposal on the beautiful terrace with a private dinner. I cannot begin to explain how amazing and kind all of the staff are in this hotel, not just a "this is my job" way but they genuinely care about every single one of their guests. Always checking on us, asking how we are, picking up on what we like for example they recognised that I was having an iced caramel latte everyday for breakfast, so just began having this ready for me in the morning, it really is the little things. The hotel is immaculately clean, the housekeepers are so lovely and provide fresh towels, make the bed etc every single day. The food is outstanding we were always so excited to wake up for breakfast, so much choice! There are loads of restaurants, cafes etc a 2 minute walk from the hotel on the stunning beach, perfect location. I cannot think of one fault or anything we would change, you have to stay here! Fabian went above and beyond for us and made our holiday/engagement SO perfect, we are forever grateful. I have never met such kind hearted, lovely staff in a hotel and we will 10000% be returning next year to celebrate our anniversary! Thank you so much for making our stay so perfect.

Our holiday was just perfect.
It was our first holiday in over 25 years without our children and other surpassed all expectations.
From check in, it was obvious that the Aloe is special. We were greeted by an excellent member of reception staff with a slight American accent — sorry, I didn't catch her name. But she was so friendly and happy to help. Harry was also brilliant and Simon who speedily took our cases to our rooms after we'd drunk our arrival prosecco.
The hotel has a prime position across the road from the sea and surrounded by a few great tavernas.
Our room was well equipped and comfortable. The only improvement would be to improve the larger towels. Some days they were large sbd fluffy and other days they were thin and tiny.
Breakfast was great and tables cleared quickly. Lots to choose from. A 2nd coffee machine would be a good idea as there was often a queue.
The staff though are what makes this hotel. All were friendly and chatty. Kleo, Asterios, Jeanne, Fabian and Abbey in the restaurant were all so lovely. Angelina behind the bar who makes fantastic cocktails. All were just great. They all work so hard — sorry if I left anyone out.
Plus the little touches… we asked for 2 extra chairs on our balcony so we could enjoy a glass of wine before going out for dinner. They appeared within minutes. To the wine glasses provided amd even a bottle of prosecvo for my birthday and a strawberry tart complete with candle and Bucks fizz for breakfast on my birthday too.

We arrived in the middle of the night and were shown your room very promptly after the necessary admin. Bags were taken up for us, The room was a loft suite. The bed was super comfy. An the morning. Breakfast choice was second to none. Staff were extremely helpful especially with my milk choices. The hotel is pretty new with outstanding views. Good choice of restaurants around the area. We had a meal on the greek night and it was amazing. My husband said the steak melted in your mouth and the two guys plating the music were off the scale. Super talented. We took full advantage of the spa which was pretty quiet and I had a wonderful massage. The rooms had tea and coffee making facilities and was topped up each day. We had a fabulous lady who came to clean and change the bedding each day. I didn’t catch her name, She was Ukrainian, and noticed I was sleeping with my coat over me as I left it on the bed, She went and got me a huge thick duvet and after that, I was so cosy. This attention to detail. The staff. And the whole experience of this wonderful hotel made our holiday as it had been postponed. I can’t recommend it highly enough and we are looking to visit again and. The wonderful island in the next couple of years.

From the moment my son and I were collected from the coach drop off point in the village in the very early hours I knew we were going to be in for an amazing holiday.
Welcomed with a refreshing drink while we checked in our luggage was taken to our room where a much needed cold meat, fruit & cheese platter was waiting for us (at our request).
Our room was spotlessly clean, extremely comfy beds & pillows and as we were in an end room (316) we had the most fabulous view of the mountains, pool and sea! Fresh bottled water daily as well which was a bonus! I will say that the shower was wonderful, the only little niggle being I couldn’t reach the high bathroom window to open it to let the steam out.
Breakfast was more than we expected. A selection of cooked items and made to order eggs, an array of fruit, deli meats & cheeses, breads, pastries, sweet treats, Greek yogurt, honey & nuts and plenty of tea, coffee and fruit juices which we enjoyed around the pool. We didn’t eat at lunch as we were full from breakfast so can’t comment on the lunch menu.
The evening menu wasn’t really to our taste as we don’t eat fish or a lot of red meat, however the evenings we did eat we enjoyed what we had. The portions are enormous though and we could have shared starters and desserts. There are plentiful tavernas to eat at in the village should you fancy a change from the hotel menu.
The pool area was lovely, quiet and relaxing and we didn’t have any trouble securing sunbeds.

We are spending our last day here and would like to give our compliments to the entire team. The room has always been perfectly clean and well maintained, but what truly made our stay special was the friendliness of all the staff.
At the bar, in the restaurant, and at the reception, we were always greeted with a smile. We would especially like to mention the two young men from Marseille and Christina for her warmth and hospitality. The ladies at the reception also deserve special praise: always friendly and ready with great tips for restaurants and things to do in the area.
The service was simply outstanding. Compliments to the whole team – you really made our stay unforgettable!

Just returned after our third stay. The most perfect Hotel that we know. The most helpful staff and great location. The buffet breakfasts are perfection special thanks for the made before you omelettes. It's the little things that make perfection like the poolside mocktails brought to your sunbed as a surprise gift. It would be wrong to name a staff member they are all helpful and brilliant. Superb visit. See you again soon hopefully!

Such a beautiful clean and welcoming hotel set in the ideal location a few feet from a sandy beach. The water is so calm you can walk out such a long way and the selection of bars and restaurants are all amazing. The cleanliness and friendliness of this small boutique hotel is what makes your stay so enjoyable. The call button around the pool is a big luxury especially while reading a good book. 10/10 would definitely return thank you xxx.

Recently returned from aloe boutique. Lovely small hotel for adults only. Spotlessly clean, all the staff seem to work really hard. Even saw them change the covers on the cabana sun beds round the pool. We were there on a bed and breakfast basis but we had a couple of lunchtime meals and one evening meal. All the food was lovely.
Our bedroom was great, beds really comfortable and the showers were nice and hot with good water pressure. I’ve never stayed where a bathroom has so many hooks for towels and wash bags. Was fab. Even a magnifying mirror! If I had only one suggestion for improvement, it would be a full length mirror in the bedroom. Us ladies like to check the whole outfit! Fortunately for us personally, wasn’t too much of a problem as the lift was near our bedroom so we checked ourselves in the mirrored lift doors!
The beach and restaurants are a stones throw way and if you want to visit Chania, it’s an easy 35 minute drive away.
Would I return? No, BUT only because the world is a big place with so much to see. Would I recommend Aloe Boutique? Absolutely 100%

We stayed at this hotel in august. It was awesome. Room was very clean, everyday changed sheets and towels, breakfast was very good and diverse. The stuff was extremely friendly. At our arrival we were greeted with orange juice and chocolate. We got towels for the beach. The hotel is 2 min far from the sea. We had to leav late, so we enjoyed the last day at the beach, the hotel has bathrooms to take a shower, you get fresh towels, so you can shower and get ready for your departure. I would recommend.

We have been staying at this wonderful hotel for several days now, and it is without a doubt the best hotel on the coast. Very clean, modern, beautiful and cosy. Just 20 metres from a magnificent clean beach. Simply 10/10. 😍
Beautiful grounds with a swimming pool and modern cabanas, with a magnificent restaurant overlooking the sea. And what beautiful mountains in the background! Incredible beauty!
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. I would especially like to mention and thank the receptionist Anelia. She is a real Angel! We definitely want to come back here again🥰

We stayed here for the last 6 nights and can only share positive feedback. Without exception, every staff member – from the reception and the masseur to the waiters and housekeeping – was consistently friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and the food is delicious.
Some guests tend to reserve sunbeds early in the morning, which should be enforced more strictly, perhaps by clearly mentioning the ban at check-in.
Apart from that, it was an excellent all-round service, and we truly have nothing but positive things to say.

Im not sure there are the right words to describe, how incredible and amazing this hotel is.
From minute one it felt comfortable and relaxing, and we were looked after by the amazing staff.
The design of the hotel is excellent, it is not too large, and set our perfectly around the pool, which was beautiful to swim or relax in, in its warm but cooling waters.
Our room was well laid out, with an extremely comfortable bed, a very welcome pillow menu, and a large and spacuious ensuite. We were provided with free bottles of water daily, and the room was cleaned every day by the room attendant and was spotless. The whole hotel is immaculate.
The hotel provided large towels for guests, which could be changed whenever requested and had a nice library and a lovely gym for guests.
Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with lots of options including some of the freshest and tastiest melon I have ever eaten, and omelettes cooked to order. The food on offer was excellent.
We ate lunch at the restaurant every day, it had an good lunch menu, and every meal was fresh, tasty and excellent. I would definitely recommend it if you don’t want to walk into the village. There is also an option to eat poolside.
The drinks we had were all tasty, and ice was always provided with water. A lovely touch was small taster cocktails being handed around each day to guests.

Amazing experience from the start! We were picked up from the little square by the staff at Aloe, and given a glass of prosecco on arrival and shown to our room. We had a lovely, spacious room overlooking the beach. The hotel and our room, were both spotlessly clean and maintained daily. The bathroom had gorgeous toiletries, which I made the most of. I was gifted a bottle of prosecco as it was my birthday whilst I was there. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were all very friendly. The breakfast was plentiful, and the bed was very comfortable. I really don't have any bad words to say about the hotel. Also the little village was full of lovely restaurants and equally very friendly people too. Not a lot in the surrounding area itself, however we wanted a relaxing break, so this is exactly what we had. I would probably avoid going to Crete in July though, as it was far too hot for us — too hot to do anything, other than swim, stay in the shade, or in the air-conditioned room.

We stayed as a couple in July and I must say this hotel is one of the best we have stayed in. The staff are what make it so special they really cannot do enough for you. When we arrived there was a car waiting to collect us from the drop off point and take us to the hotel, it was late when we arrived so check in was quick and efficient. The room was really nice it was cleaned daily and 2 bottles of water left which was a nice touch.
Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice including made to order omelette. We ate in the restaurant for our main meal and this was also very good. The hotel is near everything its only a short walk to the beach, shops, tavernas which are all very good.
The pool area is lovely and we found it very quiet and peaceful with plenty of beds, the pool was also a really nice temperature, there is also a service button next to the Sunbeds so you can call for drinks etc which is really good.
I have to say all the staff are amazing from the cleaners to reception to bar staff and waiting on staff nothing is too much trouble and they are all really friendly and helpful.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay again and I would highly recommend for couples in particular.

Awesome hotel with good facilities but the best bit about it is the staff. On arrival we were greeted at the roadside and our cases whisked off to our room and the great service continued throughout our 2 week stay. Breakfast was buffet style with an option for fresh omelettes and plenty of choice. Poolside and pool were great, especially the call button between the sunbeds.
We ate in the restaurant on a few occasions and enjoyed all the food, especially when we booked a private dinner to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary. Again the food and the staff were exemplary. Highly recommended and we would go back without hesitation.

We stayed for 10 nights at the Aloe Boutique Hotel and Suites from June 24th and can honestly say it was one of our best holidays.
The hotel is impeccably clean, and the housekeeping staff take a real pride and care in what they do. We had clean bed linen and towels everyday. The room fridge was replenished with bottles of water every day. We were allocate room 412 which was on the same level as the beautiful swimming pool. The room was quiet, and air conditioning very effective.
Every morning there was a copious breakfast. There was plenty of choice from cereal, fresh fruit, bread, rolls, mini croissants and other pastries, alongside eggs of all sorts and bacon. You could have a s much or as little as you wanted as well as juice, tea and coffee. All the staff at breakfast were attentive, friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Fabian, who made us so welcome every morning!
All areas of the hotel are beautifully maintained, modern and clean. It all looks cared for. Reception staff were always friendly and have a wealth of information on the immediate area. They helped us so much during our stay, as we wanted to see towns within the area. They arranged taxis and local buses for us — and certainly made our trips out much easier. Special mention to Theo, and the ladies on reception.
The pool area is a main feature of the Aloe. It has plentiful sun beds, and whatever time of day we wanted to use them, there were always some available, in all locations around the pool.
