Quaint older five floor hotel. Lobby area was beautiful and inviting with big fireplace and bar. Elevator was very old school with wooden door to open when lift made it to your floor, but only room for two or three. Nice old hardwood floors in fifth floor rooms. The room however was right out of the 60’s. Very warm even tho very cool outside. Finally was able to find the thermostat but didn’t seem to make a difference. Smelled like wood smoke. Opened the wooden shutters to view outside and it opened to a tile roof. Great for a quick escape but also easy for bids to fly in with no screens and shutters didn’t latch. Leak under toilet onto tile floor and no TV channels. Pillows were hard and flat. Air ran all night with no control in room. Fifth floor was very warm but fourth was cold. Space heaters available.
Spoke to front desk and was moved within a minute. Smoke smell emanated from fireplace in lobby. Fourth floor room was much nicer but no thermostat control or TV remote. So since it was just one night (tour group of 35) we lived with it and decided to tough it out with extra blankets. Nice balcony looking out to the mountain with sliding glass doors on our fourth floor room.
Since we were with a group of 35+ and seemed to be the only guests, maybe they just opened for us. Kudos to our bus driver for making it up the steep narrow road.
This is a lovely old world style hotel. It fits perfectly with the aesthetic and atmosphere of the magical town that is Delphi. The building is obviously older and the facilities THROUGHOUT Greece are different than most westerners are accustomed to.
That being said, the negative reviews embarrass me for the western world at large. The staff were the most accommodating and friendly people I came across in the entirety of Greece! Not to mention locally. The food was fresh and prepared with care and the rooms were clean.
A small leak here or there and a stiffer mattress than I prefer were easy to overlook with the stunning views and gracious staff.
I personally can’t wait to return.

Part of a tour group of 35. Quaint older hotel up a road not for the faint of heart especially with a tour bus. Lovely lobby and dining room, but it appears only catered meals for groups. Nice fireplace and bar in reception area.
Rooms leave a lot to be desired. First assigned fifth floor room with beautiful hardwood floors but toilet was leaking from the base, no window screens to keep anything out (bugs, birds, etc. Window opens to tile roof. Room was very warm with no control to regulate. TV didn’t work. Old school porcelain tub retrofitted with handheld shower. Beds were hard and pillows flat. Asked for a room change and immediately got help to fourth floor. Carpeted floor but room cold and fan ran all night. Space heater was provided on request. No controls to adjust and no TV remote. No Wi-Fi in rooms. Again, old style tub with chips. Didn’t use it.
Catered meals in group setting with 50+ teens who arrived late making it difficult to converse. Midnight they were still partying and banging around. Fortunately climbing the ruins of Delhi wore us out so sleeping wasn’t an issue for one of us.
