Heaven! This place is gorgeous! My husband and I stayed for a week in May and it was so beautiful. Book this place as soon and you can! The suites are perfectly located for swimming and relaxing and there is a large private garden with umbrellas and Sun loungers with a wonderful view. The interior is very clean and new and had everything we needed, robes, slippers, washing machine etc. There are two charming little balconies for sunset drinks. Our wonderful host Georgio was so helpful and attentive and was always available if we needed anything! Thanks so much again for having us at your wonderful property!
Impressed with “Il Castello Suites”. New very modern stylish suites, very clean, with amenities even better than a 4-Star Hotel, including specialty bathrobes, soft towels with Logo Monograms, slippers, Nespresso coffee maker, stove, full size refrigerator, modern stove, and modern shower. The owner “Georgio Chrysaphytis” is very hospitable easy to communicate with, and provided a variety of “Kytherian Whole Grain Rusks” from his own traditional Bakery located in “Potamos” along with a bottle of home made Kytherian wine from his “Reserve” as a “Welcome” treat. Excellent location at Avlemonas with amazing Sea view literally a few steps away from “Avlemonas” Bay. We fully enjoyed our stay and will recommending “Il Castello Suites” without any hesitation as a prime accommodation choice.

Our stay at Il Castello Suites was one of the highlights of our time on Kythira.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the charm of the property and the warm hospitality we received from our hosts George & Lia.
We stayed in the upstairs 2 bed room Myrto suite.
Everything was spotlessly clean, exceptionally comfortable, and maintained to a very high standard.
The location is simply perfect. Situated in the heart of picturesque Avlemonos, we could easily walk to the village's crystal-clear swimming spots, waterfront tavernas, and scenic harbour. Avlemonos quickly became one of our favourite places in Greece, and Il Castello Suites was the ideal base from which to enjoy it.
What we loved most was the peaceful atmosphere. After spending our days exploring Kythira, it was wonderful to return to such a tranquil and comfortable setting. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or simply relaxing in the evening, the property offered the perfect place to unwind.
The hosts were fantastic, offering genuine hospitality and making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Their local knowledge and willingness to help added greatly to our experience.
We've stayed in many wonderful accommodations during our travels, but Il Castello Suites stands out for its combination of location, comfort, and authentic Greek hospitality. If you're planning a visit to Kythira, we highly recommend staying here.
We left wishing we had booked a longer stay and would return without hesitation.
