This is a very clean, Centrally located hotel with a sophisticated roof top restaurant with the most amazing view of the Parthenon in Athens Greece. The rooms are modest, but comfortable, quiet and very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Hotel. Wonderful guest services, our connections went smoothly. The Hotel is clean and decorative. The rooftop restaurant has a wonderful open view of the Acropolis! Walking distance to many shops & restaurants. Must try the restaurant ToKatiamo, yummy homemade Greek food. Our room was spacious, dark wood interior and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay there again! Thank you.

Great location, great staff, room very nice and clean, not far of the Acropolis, and has a beautiful view of the Parthenon from the restaurant on the 8th floor, definitely recommend, nice, the staff very helpful and friendly.

Nice place. View from the rooftop restaurant is fabulous. Our "queen" bed was actually 2 single beds pushed together though.

Rooms are fairly modern however maintenance is lacking so pot luck involved here. Our shower was broken and balcony light wouldn't turn off so light shone through into room at night. May have been a Security light as area is pretty rough. Location is central to ruins 15 to 20 minute walk to some of them. However it's in a low end commercial area with tyre and motor bike stores and adult shops. Roof top food washer average and expensive view was amazing though. Breakfast was all cold think they make up early and little flow or logic if you don't eat hot breakfast then not too bad. Night desk was very helpful daytime less so.

We have stayed here for 4 yrs in row. We always brought our dog (4 kilos). Never ever a complaint. The staff absolutely loved her. The desk clerk held her and loved her while we filled out paperwork. They said they had 1 complaint about dogs so they changed their policy.
Maybe they should change their policy on drunks who knock on your door at 2 am. My dog didn't even bark at the knocking.

Very fast and quality service, which, in general, is not quite typical of the Greeks. The hotel-restaurant is included in a recommendation to visit the Michelin Guide list for several years in a row. Mostly only positive feedback on TripAdvisor. Speaking separately about the restaurant, the rack of lamb, which frames served, is one of the best that has tasted. It is possible to visit with children. The panoramic view is stunning.

Stayed at this hotel on a recent trip to Greece. Stayed for 3 nights, went on a 3 day bus tour and then stayed another 3 nights. Rooms were clean. The room we stayed in for the first 3 nights had views of the parthenon. Within walking distance to buses, the metro and other restaurants. The restaurant at the top of the hotel has amazing views of the parthenon and the city. The staff were all very friendly and helpful including the breakfast staff and the restaurant staff. Would definitely stay at the hotel if lucky enough to visit Athens again.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Rooms are updated and very clean and well kept. The rooftop restaurant was amazing. Great food and totally amazing view. The wait staff was one of the best and most attentive I've experienced. If I could give 10 stars I would.

The hotel is very close to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Metro station. The rooms were clean, the service impeccable.

Close to the center, the Archeological Museum, the Acropolis, the temple of Zeus. Super Breakfast. It's worth having dinner at the top floor restaurant. A romantic dinner overlooking the Parthenon that lit up in the evening has its charm. Definitely will be back.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The stuff was very freindly and helpful. Dinner at the rooftop was great with amazing ambiance and view. Just some noises from a group of teenagers disturbed us at night.

Best weekend ever in Athens at The Athenian CE. A massive thanks to Stefano Operational Manager. I felt very welcomed and have been well looked after throughout my staying. Stefano’s has also helped me with my many questions like: best places to eat, live events in town, taxi bookings and areas to avoid at night. He has showed me a real taste of Greek gentleman’s manners and kindness. This has been an unforgettable weekend in Athens for me.! Highly recommended and I will definitely come back soon.

Was OK. The rooms are not so small but unfavorably furnished so that it works very closely (for example you can Only go sideways between bed and table, let alone pull the suitcase through). The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small but clean. The heating is available during the day (not so convenient in February). The breakfast is OK, but also nothing special. A real highlight, however, is the rooftop bar with great views of the Acropolis. The location in general is also very good (just a few minutes walk to the Acropolis Museum.

Rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The road is a bit noisy but it's acceptable. Top floor restaurant/bar has a very nice view of the acropolis and from time to time live music. Staff is very nice and breakfast has quite a good choice.

Very convenient, neat and clean rooms, spacious, very good breakfast, friendly staff. Very nice rooftop restaurant with good view of the Acropolis. There was a live music at the rooftop restaurant when we went on Sat (not sure on other days). Only issue is they don't turn on air conditioner during winter, room can get a bit suffocating. You can open the windows though, but gets noisy.

Not value for money. Low standards of cleanliness! The worst hotel we have ever been. He booked a double room and upon our arrival they gave us a room on the so called 7th exclusice floor. Obviously the room wasn't used for moths! We found layers of dust on the hair dryer, behind the TV, above the bed and on the menus. My towel was torn and we even found blood stane and a MOTH on our linen! ## The receptionist obviously didn't inform at all the housekeeper to clean better after my complain the second day. I wouldn't recommend it at all and of course we took photos for the above mentioned.

Very nice hotel friendly staff at the top of the hotel there is a restaurant with a nice view from the price, the rooms are ok but a bit old but all in all it is a central good hotel.

The hotel is claimed four stars but don’t feel that it was up to that. The TV was very old and very small that you can’t see it anywhere else. The exhaust fan in washroom is not working well. They charged for local calls made from our room. However the breakfast was very good with lots of selections and self squeezed fresh orange juice was a good one.

The hotel staff were very nice. Greeted upon arrival and he was very helpful. The reciption area is nice and modern. But the rooms are a little tired and could do with updating. Breakfast was acceptable but not really to my taste. The location is accessible as it is on a junction. 5 minute walk from restaurant and tavernas area. The bar on the 8th floor has a spectacular view of the acropolis and is even better at night as it's lit up. Worth a look.

Stayed there from one night. Actually arrived at 1 am left 9 am. The reception team was nice. Forgot to give me the password for Wi-Fi and the phone didn't worked so I had to go down again to ask for it. The hotel itself is an old one. Room very bad condition. TV wasn't working, phone wasn't working, dirty walls and very dirty carpet.

This is my final night in Athens for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The lady at the hotel reception is so helpful… from the first day… showing us direction to various landmarks and the most economical way to explore this amazing city. The hotel is only 15 minutes to the City Centre (Syntagma Square) and 10 minutes to the Acropolis & Partheon. Good price, good view, good service. I'll recommend it and definite come back.

My wife and I were traveling and stayed here at the Callirhoe. The room we stayed in was probably smaller than the rooms at the other hotels we stayed at in Greece, but it was clean and well-kept. The location was great! Just a short walk to Plaka and an even shorter walk to some great restaurants. The staff were friendly and helped us in calling our tour guide and in calling a taxi when we needed one. My favorite part about my stay here was the amazing breakfast! It was buffet-style and had everything you could think of.

Recently made the trip back to my homeland in Greece and decided to spend a few days in Athens before heading to my village. My niece booked the room for me and I could not be happier with what I consider 5 Star Service. The rooms are clean and beautiful, the staff friendly and professional! I highly reccommend and can't wait to return and visit again! Thanks for wonderful service.

Great location and staff. Best part of the room. Wooden flooring, not cold on the feet. Room is spacious, with breakfast is delicious. Location is very center (very near temple of zeus). Elevator is very classy hehehe.

This is very nice hotel. Surpassed my expectations. Firstly it's in an amazing location with tonnes of really nice local restaurants within a five minute walk. The staff at the hotel was friendly and the view from a balcony room is pretty nice. Everything in the room works well including the AC. Would definitely recommend. Stayed in April.

The reviews I read about this hotel made me to believe it was nicer than it actually is. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The pictures they have on the website look great but unfortunately the hotel is now worn out, I am sure those pictures were taken many year ago. And the Acropolis view is not as close as they make it appear on the website pictures. This hotel need to be remodeled.

The a/c blows only hot air, they told me to open the windows to let cold air in which it did but at the cost of all the traffic noise.

Very clean hotel, good point-position near to Athens metro but not so good for 4 or 5 stars. I disapoined from staff attidute. Especially from receptionist.

Very good hotel, close to everything, attractions, subway, train, bus, good breakfast, very small rooms, good bed linen, bathroom small, bathrobes, slippers. Good restaurant with view to the Acropolis!

Friendly and helpful service, clean rooms but the bed was a tad hard. The complimentary bottle of red wine was a nice touch though.

The hotel is very good, recommend. It is very well located. 3 minutes from the Acropolis and around the tourist circuit. The staff does not give too many explanations but it does not. Ah! tips make miracles. The Acropolis is not seen as shown in the pictures if you don't climb to the top floor. Although the street does not see anything of the tourist, it is located right behind the buildings that covered it. Not afraid to get the ball rolling you are going to find everything.

Great hotel! The personal ad very nice, the location wonderful and the breakfast very complete. I will not forget the bar on the last floor, to have dinner or a drink with views of the Acropolis. Great!
