Excellent location. Staff has been fabulous in helping me several times making calls for me to confirm things. Nice breakfast. Room is small but comfortable.

Reasonable price and very helpful staff. Clean room and very comfy bed… plus good breakfast. Highly recommended.

Perfect location at reasonable price. Metro train (subway) stop is right outside the hotel — so you can get there easily from the airport with only 1 train change. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was newly renovated — clean as a whistle. Small and not a great view — but who stays in their room in Athens anyway?

My third time at Athens Tiare hotel, and I will repeit for sure. Friendly staff with good attitude, nice and renovated rooms, close to the city center, good breakfast. Everything is great when you are there.

The first stay for three days, very good, thought it was a good restaurant, but I was wrong! The second time lived a day, the room is located in the corner, the toilet water taste will be transmitted to the bedroom, room space is small, the best laugh is that the room water heater will cause the whole room to jump, with the counter service staff communication, they want us not to use the water heater, afraid we are dangerous (and then without any treatment),
Tell us if we need hot water can ask the service staff to take us (we waited half an hour audio without) or to the kitchen on the 2nd floor to get water (restaurant water dispenser where do not know), hope not to sleep to half the wire short-circuit fire. The air-conditioning is cold, only the first-line staff is quite kind.

High quality services and professional staff. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent!

The hotel is really nice. Great room. The surrounding area is a little rough, but good overall. Nice access to the metro, it's right outside.

Really nice hotel for the money. In a little bit of a shady area but literally 10 steps to the metro. Totally worth a stay if you are visiting Athens. Good value and great service. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome friendly staff and great location. Practically you are couple of minutes away from any attraction and there is a metro station underneath the hotel. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and the breakfast is so fresh and with various options. Definitely recommend it.

The staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are nice with a great view. The location is very good. But the maintenance is poor, it's not very clean and the shower towels are old and hard not what you expect from a hotel. I would recommend it for it's location and the people here.

The hotel is very well situated, walking distance to most attractions, the staff is very pleasant and friendly, the breakfast is delicious. Nice views, would def recommend!

Sheets were dirty. Hair and dirt can be found underneath the quilt right at the end of the bed. Got bitten during the night and itched throughout. Ended up with lots of small itchy bumps and bites.

We stayed at this family hotel at 4. The goal was to finish our trip to Greece by a nice hotel allowing us to rest before leaving.
Positives: The reception according to a hotel of this standing and the classic but fresh meal.
To improve: Hotel very noisy! It overlooks the Omonia square which is very busy and the double glazing is insufficient. In our room the air conditioning was not working everywhere. There were two air conditioning outlets, one in the hallway and one in the room; Unfortunately, only the corridor was working.
Finally, a point of detail. The room have television, one in front of the children's bed and one in front of the parents bed. There were two remotes, but only one operated and ordered both screens. That's why there's some tension.
In conclusion, a good hotel as part of a professional trip (subject to being in a room not giving on the street), but not really what we were looking for.

Nice enough hotel. Located in the centre but away from the main tourist streets, however the staff of the restaurants and pharmacies around speak English and can explain themselves. Nearby there is a little scary streets full of graffiti, but if you come to see the sights, you can just not go there. Breakfast in the hotel is normal, variety, really not. In the restaurant you can also eat-the prices are the same as everywhere, and the portions are large. The rooms are large, there is a TV with Internet and a yutuba. For those who want to have phones that you can take with you from your room and use, including the Internet, but I have not tried. The rooms are clean and have safes. From the cons-Hear what happens in the hallway. In general, complaints did not arise during 8 days of stay.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and bright environment. Room (408) large, television, fast Wifi, large safe, window opens only 7/9 cm and you can not get out. Located on the noisy square at all times. Bathroom clean but ridiculously small and no shower but bathtub difficult to access (if you have walking problems you are in trouble since it is about 60cm high) Unfortunately the hotel overlooks Omonia Square and immediately at the exit you come across with doubtful characters and Druggies (be very careful) well served by bus, taxi and subway.

A hotel on the edge of the Centre of Athens (10 minutes walk from the Monastiraki).
The staff is lovely. The equipment and sanitary facilities are new. The beds are comfortable. The air conditioning obviously present and adjustable. As for breakfast, there is everything that is possible.
Small detail: make sure you have a large bed rather than 2 beds if you are a couple.

Well located near the metro station. The room was a bit noisy.

Pros: good size of the room and bathroom; very comfortable bed; plenty of options for breakfast; polite and friendly staff; free Wi-Fi; relatively close to the main attractions (20 minutes walk). Cons: the room has the view over the big square so it's a lot of noise all the time; the pillows are not so comfortable; the location of the hotel not so safe, lots of suspicious people (however, nothing happen to us).

Most courteous concierge staff especially George who was on hand to guide us through all our questions. The location is just perfect just yards from Omonia Station/Square, walking distance to Monastiraki Flea market, plenty of places to eat. Planning to revisit soon.

Beautifull hotel, amazing stuff, everything we asked for was attanded and given to us immediatly, very good breakfast, fresh, the room is very clean & designed very nice & convenient, big smart T. V, tea, coffee, mineral water in the room, view to Omnia squer, hand & body soap, shampoo & body milk in bathroom, very good service, close to all atractions by a walking distance, I recommend strongly & will come back.

The rooms are comfortable and quite, but it is the staff that make the difference. They were so attentive and friendly, but in a genuine way, with real warmth. I would like to thank them for looking after my passport and licence, which I left in the safe, and for their good willed humour…

Beautiful modern rooms with all glass facing the square. Quick check in. Internet only 1Mb. Otherwise 5 stars for the price.

Good facilities and service. Only problem that I noted is that the balconies in the rooms are only for decoration and you can't actually step in to them. Good luck if you are a smoker as all rooms are non smoking as well and balconies are off limits.

New clean and comfortable accommodations and very very friendly personnel which made our stay pleasant. Public transportation to everywhere in Greece is just a stone's throw away in Omonia Square. The hustle and bustle Omonia area is experiencing a revival after years of neglect. The Tiare is the jewel of Omonia! Thanks guys!

Close to the characteristic quarters of Athens including the Acropolis, modern, clean, comfortable beds, good breakfast.

Great central location. Walk to museums and shopping. Filthy area. The hotel is out of place. Rooms are clean but small. Hotel staff are suspicious of anyone entering the property as there are many homeless and prostitutes in the area. Even the guests are questioned if they belong on the property. Can you imagine how we feel? Never in my life have I encountered such behavior. Granted the hotel is in a sleazy area of Athens, that was once the most prized spot. Still the well dressed security staff with their earphones should know how to profile better. I am a bit offended by the staffs behavior. If the staff can not remember faces, especially of guests that have been staying at the property for a week, then I feel that they should go find work elsewhere. The staff is courteous but not sincere in helping. Maybe it all comes from the location where they work. Just step out the door and you go from a clean modern hotel into a filthy dump.

Decent hotel. Good room, very nice hotel staff. Had breakfast. Drinks at the bar were delicious. Clean, safe. Close to a grocery store and a metro. Food was meh for breakfast and lunch. Forgot towels twice. Have bad chemicals in their soaps. Toilet was bad (tilted forward, and had uncomfortable shape). Shower was leaking out, and not draining properly.

209 Euros to sleep two nights in 509, Room without window, we did not like! I will be happy when I know they no longer assign the 509!

Good Hotel convenient because 2 steps from Omonia Metro station. Noisy room due to malfunctioning fridge. Good breakfast but you can't charge an espresso saying it's not included in the breakfast. If at breakfast you do not take a espresso what you take?

A recently renovated hotel located next to the metro and 20 minutes walking from all Athen's major visiting locations. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The beds were good. The breakfast is excellent with a good service. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Staff responds with urgency. Hotel location is very good if you want to be close to the public transportation system. Bathrooms are very small with limited amenities. Noisy streets and the rooms do not have double glazed windows. Aircon's do not have steady temperatures. It's usually cokd, warm or too cold. Worst of all, the bathrooms have poor sewage system. Smell from the sewage system is smelled in my toilet and bathroom.

This amazing hotel is situated in the city centre so you can visit all Athens, it's one of the cleanest rooms you have ever seen, I love these brand new super comfortable matresses, nice modern design, friendly and helpful staff, great room facilities, fully satisfying breakfast, affordable prices in rooms and restaurant.
