Very Friendly staff and clean rooms. I feel Well taken care of! Spending my 50th birthday here is a Dream come true with an amazing views. Highly recommend this to everyone who defends to come to Athens. You will not be disappointed!

Courteous, helpful staff, spacious and comfortable rooms. The view of the Parthenon is spectacular from the roof top restsurant. And to be honest, the best hotel I have stayed at so far.

To my surprise due to my status with IHG I was upgraded to a BEAUTIFUL suite. Staff here is amazing and super helpful and the hotel in and of itself is GORGEOUS.

This hotel is lovely & provides great services. The hotel is clean, spacious & comfortable. There are taxis' on hand all the time. We enjoyed the breakfast & close by there are cafés like Mikel's etc. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel in the heart of Athens.

We had a beautiful suite with a huge terrace which overlooked the Acropolis. The IC is in a lovely residential neighborhood, nice and quiet (away from Syntagma Square! ) with great little restaurants. Downtown is a quick taxi away. Best of both worlds!

Very helpful staff, can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The concierge staff are very helpful and happy to book restaurants and taxis. Good location if you want to be near the city centre as they have a free shuttle service.

Great service — Amex upgrade was awesome (11 year old loved it and the bistro for dinner). Stavro upfront was awesome and restaurant staff on lobby floor was awesome — steak medium well, and discussions that followed with my son were fun to follow.

Great location. Luxurious suites. Rooms are comfortable. Pool is great. Expensive fir food and drink, but nice atmosphere. Rooftop bar with a acropolis view, romantic and beautiful.

Our recent stay at the this hotel was perfect! The rooms were large and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful at every interaction. We arranged a tour through the concierge that went great. The pool was great and overall the hotel is a very relaxing environment. We spent a lot of time on the fabulous rooftop bar and had fun times and met many new friends, including our beloved bartender George and want to thank him and Kristos for the excellent service and company. We also had a special engagement dinner at Premiere and our server Spyros was wonderful. He took the ring and promised that he and chef would do something special and they sure did! Also thanks to Chef Nourloglou for the wonderful, memorable dinner and "dessert" surprise. It was the trip of a lifetime and we will be back someday, thank you! KM.

It's a great hotel. The rooms have everything. Even a hairdryer and its iron with iron right in the room. Water, kettle, coffee tea, clean and very beautiful.

Good views of the Acropolis if lodged on the appropriate side of the hotel. Very courteous staff. Good restaurants. Buffet bteakfast highly recommended. Shuttle bus to the city centre from where one can walk to all the main Athena sites. Wheel chair access to rooms and restaurant.

You know exactly what you are getting with this 5* Hotel. Need to ensure it doesn't rest on its laurels. + Extremely friendly staff. Met all expectations of service! Upgraded to a suite with hugely welcoming reception. + Very good location between main port and central. Bit of a walk to town but happy to do. + Dinner was great, amazing views. — The bathroom was the most disappointing part of the room. Small, pokey and not anything like what one would expect when compared with competitors.

I had a one night stay here due to not booking my Airbnb for the right amount of days. Room is big and clean. Hotel is very busy. Location could not be worse, very far from the acropolis and other major attractions if compared to other hotels in the city center with the acropolis in walking distance. Staff isn’t all that nice either for a five star. There are far better hotels in Athens for the price. The roof top bar is quite nice however. The whole ambiance of the hotel, with the somewhat unpleasant staff, I will look elsewhere next time in Athens.

Pleasant hotel with spacious rooms, large lobby and restaurant area. Decent gym with enough machines to do an overall body workout. Outdoor pool with bar. Very clean and overall good energy. Highly recommended (note photos are how I left room when I checked out. Intercontinental set it nicely :)

Very nice hotel! Staff friendly and helpful, really worth to stay there. The only bad thing was the "king size bed" which was promised to us… it was actually 2 single beds put together, very uncomfortable to sleep as a couple… so you sleep with you partner in the same bed but seperately… this has to be changed! King size bed is one bed not 2 single ones…

Our three days here were the very best in amenities which included friendly and helpful staff. It was well worth the added luxury of The Club level, with perfect food selections. It was a very peaceful stay, would recommend to anyone coming to Athens.

Very nice hotel at 20 ' walk from the historic center. The staff is very nice and available.
The negative point are the surroundings that have degraded… vestiges not so ancient since the economic crisis.

Had a fab stay here. The rooms are a tad old fashioned. But very spacious and luxurious though. Nice toiletries provided. Outside pool area although small is nicely kept and good for a sun bathe. Pool is very small for your information. Terrace has a beautiful view of parthenon. But very very pricey. Food very salty! Too salty for me.

Great hotel, poor location. The room is perfect, same with breakfast and with the business lounge. The location is not pleasant, but it ks not much of a problem since Uber was invented…

4-star hotel in a good location. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are large, clean and modern, the bed is comfortable, bathrobe and latches are provided, and there is also an outdoor pool. The rooms are only moderately well insulated and from the window you look out at sad decaying houses. Otherwise a good meeting place.

This place is amazingly located, rooms are big, nice beds, nice shower. Super cheap breakfast. You can't go wrong with this one.

Nice conference hotel about 5 minutes drive from the center of Athens. Can easily handle conference with more than 250 participants staying at the facility and a restaurant area dedicated to the conference participants. And there can be several parallel tracks. All rooms can have people sitting at desk, which is nice for note taking. I found the gathering area on the ground floor quite noisy — would have be nice with more sound absorption features. There is also a Michelin class restaurant with outside serving on the 10th floor, which I did not time to try out. Good and professional room service. Don't forget to visit the center of Athens at least one afternoon / evening during your stay.

Having a pool view from my room gave me the impression I was able to take a dip, as it was filled up with water…

Really nice hotel for conferences or business meetings near the hearth of athens. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. Rooms are clean and service is friendly.

A venerable hotel with great public places for meetings and restaurants with great service. Strategically located in Athens, it is easily reachable from any direction and offers great views of the Acropolis and other wonderful sights of Athens.

To the standard you would expect with an intercontinental, the rooms are very nice and the staff helpful. The breakfast was excellent. It’s in a good location for the main tourist attractions, and offers a free shuttle to the acropolis, although it’s only a 30 min walk away, so didn’t use it.

Very expensive for this rather average hotel, little soundproof room and about not very safe. By cons Super breakfast, and large room.

Very big hotel. I do think ideal for groups and mice. For individual this is too big … And the nearest tube station is around 10 to 15 min walking distance. The staff is really caring and the rooms are huge! It was a very very nice stay.

Great resort, very small ridiculous pool. Very good for business but otherwise for tourism go elsewhere as far enough from the city center in the end right next to a large artery of the city.

A bit difficult to access if you come from the city center price of the minibar prohibitive breakfast OK but not exceptional (cheap deli, "faux" bacon) very good bedding spacious rooms with possible view of the Parthenon beautiful view of the bar from the 10th Floor.

Excellent venue for Seminars, Conferences and more. Rooms are amazing, variety of restaurants and cafes, try the restaurant on the last floor! Spectacular view! (check hours they are open though first).

Basically's all right. Attention when ordering taxi via hotel. Taxi driver requires more than is stated at reception as a fixed price!

Excellent hotel with spacious rooms. The staff is very attentive to give the best attention. It has shuttle service to the city centre every 30 to 60 minutes. What eesuelve the theme of the room.

A very nice hotel! We enjoyed our stay. Our room was a good size with a king size bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful with us. There really isn't anything within easy waking distance but they do have a free small shuttle bus that goes to the Plaka. But we couldn't find the pick up area to go back to hotel. Luckily a taxi ride is easy to find and is a short ride. The cost is between 5€ — 8€. The restraunt was on the expensive side for us so we decided to eat elsewhere. Example: 2 Coke lights and a chocolate — banana crepe was 27.50€ by the way the crepe was awesome.

Rather nice hotel. Breakfast staff very friendly. On the other hand to rest rather difficult. Room 142 non renovated located probably near the laundry room. Sounds of washing machines, dry linen or other trolleys, a good part of the night.

Μεγάλα δωμάτια και άδειοι χώροι. Μην περιμένετε φαντασία. Ακριβές τιμές… παρόλα αυτά τα δωμάτια είναι καλά. Γενικά πρέπει να έχεις αυτοκίνητο η ταξι για να φτάσεις στο κέντρο.

Excellent hotel and attention.

Great hotel in a good location. Not very central but they do offer their guests a free shuttle to the centre of Athens. If we could get a great deal on the hotel again then we would consider to stay here in the future too.

The food is stupid expensive. The rooms were ok. Don't expect to get breakfast cheap or dinner. Leave the hotel to eat anything.

Great stay at the Intercontinental Atheneum, spacious rooms, great hospitality.

Here my first impression (day 1 of 4) : I would rate the Hotel as a 4 star plus category accomodation. So far so good. Everthing is quite ok! But if a Espresso Macchiato is charged with 6, 50€ I "feel cheated" especially if the Macchiato is average and definitely not outstanding. Sorry Interconti but that's too much — we are in Athen and not Zurich or Moscow or Tokio.

The hotel is not 5 stars pulls on. Staff are not adequately or permanently forgets everything away. The rooms are big but the part with the old repair. Location of bad around the devastation. Breakfast very expensive 35 Euro, and little choice. For such money in Athens for dinner.
