This is indeed a very special place! Immaculately clean, rooms gorgeous with stunning surroundings to match. Beautiful sea views, pretty bougainvillea everywhere. Gerasimos and his entire team are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts amazing. We all felt thoroughly spoiled. It is even better than the photos! 🤩

This place is a real hidden gem. With breathtaking views and a wonderful staff, expect to feel at home in this little slice of heaven. The pictures can never do this place justice. You have to see it with your own eyes.
Gerasimos the host and owner is a true gentlemen and he has built this beautiful guesthouse with his wife Joana. The best part of our trip and our favorite corner of Kefalonia… a must stay.

Wonderfull view and amazing rooms. The pool is also very nice but there are no food/drink options during the day sadly. Breakfast is wonderfull though.

Roi apartments are a little slice of heaven and peace. Lovely welcome from Mac and Johanna. Our apartment called Iris is tucked away and secluded. The room is very comfortable and pretty and the view from the little terrace breathtaking.
Veggie breakfast was varied and delicious and it was great having it delivered at a time of our choosing. So much nicer than going to a restaurant.
The pool is spotless and a day spent lazing on the loungers looking at the view is also not to be missed!
A short walk down into the harbour to all the lively bars and restaurants and an amazing bakery and shop where you can get everything you might need. Sometimes we ate out and sometimes just bought easy supper to have at home.
We loved walking up to the castle and a day trip to Fiscardo only 30 minutes away and swimming in the turquoise sea at Myrtos beach which is only 15 minutes away.
So all in all a fantastic place to stay in beautiful Assos.

This is an incredibly beautiful and convenient boutique hotel. Gerasimos, our host, did everything he could to make our stay pleasant. The room was very clean and comfortable, including a small balcony with an amazing view. Breakfast was tasty, and was served in our room, so we had it on the balcony, enjoying the view and a gentle breeze. The house itself is beautiful — an interesting architecture — and the swimming pool looks very tempting (when we stayed, early May, it was not hot so we preferred to walk and travel in the northern part of the island) and there is a lovely, charming little garden in which you can sit and relax. The bathroom was great with a very good shower. Roi Suites is a fantastic and spoiling boutique hotel which we enjoyed tremendously. And now a word about Assos. We stayed only four days in Kefalonia so we explored only the very north of the island, but we can say that Assos is the most beautiful village in the area. When you drive towards Assos, you descend from the mountains to the village, and honestly, the view of the village and the sea, plus the small island with the remains of an old citadel, is out of this world. If you want ten different restaurants and shops where you buy things you do not really need, then avoid Assos. If you want to relax, if you want to feel that everybody around you is so nice, if you want to be in Greece, in its full meaning, this village is highly recommended.

We are an adult couple. We spend a wonderful week in Roi Apartments, and enjoyed every moment! The view is breathtaking, the suite is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The breakfast served on a tray in the room is rich and very tasty.
Above all, the generous, warm and sensitive service of Gerosimos and johana gives a feeling of home. We can't wait to return to Roi apartments. Sara & Tuvia.

Couldnt have asked for a better Easter escape from London. 22 degree heat sunshine and the apartment was incredible right on the waters edge the sunsets were incredible. Breakfast in the morning was world class and I would suggest anyone visiting Kefolonia to come to Assos and stay here. You won't regret it! Thank you for a great week in the sun.

Beautiful building on a waterfront location. The cleaning staff is extremely kind. The interior is dated and really needs an update, the shower is tiny with a broken showercurtain, which is just not acceptable for € 300 per night, while not offering any breakfast service. The owner seems to have lost her passion for hospitality. She asked us for example if we had already paid and how long we were staying. The airconditioning is working well, although you’re ‘not allowed’ to put it below 24 degrees. Beach towels are provided, however you cannot take them to the beach, only to the pool. This all would have been fine at lower price levels. Now, it felt like paying 5-star prices without getting the service and facilities one would expect. There is only one good restaurant in the town (3 Wise Monkeys), the other restaurants are all tourist-traps. Beaches are pretty but busy and quite far out to drive.

Truly a five star location and hotel. Maria and her friendly staff exceeded all of our expectations and her hotel could be perched on the most incredible view we’ve ever seen. This is the island paradise you’ve been looking for.

For us, just the place to end 6 weeks in Europe. Roi has lived up to our expectations.
And is a lovely, quiet place to relax before heading home to our winter. The room was clean, comfortable, had a stunning view over the water and next to the pool terrace, just great.
The owner and staff are helpful and friendly. We self catered from local minimarts for breakfast and sundowners. An energetic walk down the road to the restaurants in the harbour otherwise, there are a few shortcuts through the town, follow the signs!

Asos is a beautiful place and so can get a bit overcrowded during the day. ROI Boutique hotel is just a few hundred metres out of the town so preserves the quite relaxed feel, whilst maintaining the gorgeous sea and sunset views and being close to town for dinner.
We stayed 4 lovely nights in the Iris room which had a comfy bed, functional bathroom and small kitchen area with fridge to cool your wine. The view from the room was wonderful and we enjoyed sitting and staring at the ocean.
The pool and breakfast area are both relaxed spaces where like minded guests exchange stories and recommendations. Parking is available next to the hotel (5 spaces I recall) and over the road if that’s full.
The owners and staff are lovely people and will do anything to make your stay a good one.
Highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in a lovely village but retain a peaceful and relaxed vibe. We loved it and i’m sure we will be back.

We arrived at Roi Suites expecting a peaceful 10 night stay overlooking Assos. We were shown to rooms which were really disappointing, other than the view from one of them (the other had a low level terrace with no view, which was a real let down). The suites are really dingy, with very basic outdated bathrooms which just don’t feel clean. Fittings are worn and grubby, the whole room needed refurbishment. Balconies are also very overlooked, there is no privacy at all and everyone is woken by the music played every morning from 8.30am.
On the bright side, the pool area was as pictured, quite small but with 8 good sunbeds and a fabulous view. Our first 2 days were spent relaxing there and it was good — be aware that you do need to walk to the shop for water etc though, nothing at all is available at the property.
Breakfast was fine for a few days but then repetitive — the poached eggs are the only cooked option but are served cold, and one morning I was told by the consistently miserable woman on duty at breakfast that there was no fresh milk for my muesli and handed a coffee creamer!
Importantly though, if you have booked because the suites are advertised as adults only then please be aware that they definitely are not.

We loved our stay at Roi Suites! Impeccably clean rooms with beautiful flowers and a stunning view.
The place is peaceful and serene in May (early in the season so not as busy! ).
We were wonderfully looked after by Marcella and Hector who were superb and so welcoming. Thank you!
