The owners of this hotel were incredibly kind. When their credit card machine had issues, they even invited us for dinner, which was a thoughtful gesture. The rooms are simple but comfortable. Not much more to say—just really lovely people. Thanks a lot!

Terrible hostel, spotlessly clean, in a nice place with all the amenities and with a parking space. Breakfast is very tasty, high quality with a wide variety. Anyone who goes to Paleo Agios Athanasios and doesn't stay at the hostel should eat at the hostel's tavern, which apart from the delicious food they have, their prices even today when everything is going up are low and this shows that the company does not take advantage of the customers. Also the hostel nights (for all these comforts they provide) are affordable and you enjoy your vacation. Finally, all those who manage the guesthouse and the tavern are very helpful and pleasant. Congratulations to Mrs. Eleni who was there for everything we needed.

On the positive side of the hostel I would include its central location and the warm, generally nice room we stayed in. On the contrary, I identified several points which create a negative impression. And I'll explain right away… first of all in the room, which was on the ground floor, there were ants that seemed to be finding their way through some gaps in the floor stones/slabs. Also, the bathroom, although clean, needs immediate renovation in order to justify the price charged per night. An additional downside was the bed, which creaked at the slightest movement. Also particularly annoying was the presence of smoke in the room, without having used the existing fireplace. Finally, the breakfast is quite basic in terms of options and tastes, which again does not correspond to the room charge. Overall, not worth it!
