Aborigines beach resort

Location is good, right on the beach, however facilities was below average.
Rooms okay with air conditioners, bathroom has electric wires hanging exposed, big hazard.
Waiters were nice.
Rooms need attention to bring the place up to international standards.

Aboriginal Beach Resort what a Shame to Keta district. Workers not interested in anything. Food was really not good. Nobody seems to care. Never got a receipt from the receptionist. No hot water from the boiler and nor bucket for the hot water from the kettle. 😢
I am very saddened by the way workers are making things difficult for the owner. Please owner put an end to this lazy workers of yours. Thank you.

Location was a cool drive, easy to find on the map. Got here and there's no Wi-Fi, pool was dirty but good food. Great service… gym was broken down, no quad bike… just sad.

Did not go to lodge there. Just an evening out with friends. Beautiful place by the sea. Staff did their best. Food was cool. Most of the cocktails on their Menu booklet were unavailable. Overall, it's a cool place.

Staff showed no care to the guest. They sat around on their personal phones and had no engagement with my visit. The swimming area security guard appeared hostile, a companion guest, and showed no professionalism whatsoever. We travelled here through recommendation and to experience their hospitality. Wasn't impressed.

The location is perfect. I had a hard time enjoying their breakfast. I can't point out on other meals.

Family vacation with small children. The place is very well maintained. You have direct access to a clean beach and a chance to enjoy watching the fishermen. We loved how they have maintained the green spaces, the rooms, the poolside and beach access. We were there during the week and into the weekend and it was quiet throughout. Meals were of good quality and we always got what we ordered. We were particularly grateful that they prepared the pool for our use (was not in use when we arrived) and made adjustments to the breakfast to suite our family needs. The manager and reception staff are professionally trained. The restaurant would benefit from training their waiting staff on customer service. We recommend the resort and shall certainly return.

I’m sure the place is great for people who come to stay. However, for a day visit at the beach, it’s not a place I would recommend because they don’t have provisions to sit at the beach right by the ocean. There are no shades or umbrellas or benches to sit and enjoy the beach. They also advertise that they provide water sports, however, they told us that the person who is in charge of the water sports was on leave and thus we couldn’t undertake in those activities which we had looked forward to. They do not serve majority of the food on their menu. We ordered food and an hour later they told us that they were just about to start making it. The service was disappointing. The resort has many rooms, a pool, a restaurant and other provisions that would make overnight stays enjoyable but definitely not an ideal place for day visits.

I really enjoyed my stay at Aborigines Beach Resort, especially the ambience and the beautiful beachfront, it’s easily one of the best beaches in Ghana. The resort is about a 3.5-hour drive from Accra, and the journey itself can be quite scenic.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, though not modern, so if you’re after luxury, this might not be the place for you. That said, the pricing is quite reasonable compared to other beachfront properties, which makes it great value for money.
The pool was average (I’d rate it 5/10), and the food could definitely be improved. However, what stood out the most was the staff—they were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even preparing food for us late at night, which we really appreciated.
With a few updates, especially to the facilities and dining options, this place could be even more amazing. Still, it’s a solid choice for a relaxing beach getaway without breaking the bank.

Superbly neat. Accessible by road. A smart location close to a local market, nurses college, and Keta Lagoon Ramsar Site. Wonderful shoreline for a small group of ecotourists to effectively discuss, reflect and bond at roadside. The natural view is far beyond imagination. Small but takes practical ecotourism ideals to the next level, greatly bringing joy and satisfaction to the hearts of all guests. Here, it is possible to observe, feel and try to go fishing with amazing indigenes. Prices are moderate. You can visit at anytime.

Wonderful place superb air conditioning excellent breakfast staff well trained but lacking in confidence and communication however I realise thats African ways, the whole place was immaculate clean and all debris removed very refreshing for Africa however even tho the small beach in front not belonging to the resort really needs attention for resort clients to use or just passing by it was dreadful covered in plastic and nets just discarded by the locals carefree, maybe a few ideas to place bins there also use staff to clear it up or to pay locals also encouraging them not to litter (esp toxic plastic). A big No No the captive animals is very very sad indeed! otherwise perfect place to stay.
Will visit again.

Great ambiance. Nice location next to the beach. Also has a pool. Rooms are generally neat and tidy. Good food but service is extremely slow and full menu never available.

Aborigines was very calm And peaceful. I love how the environment was really neat. It's a great place for relaxation.

This place kind of grows on you. I love the fact that there were many places outside of the room to just hang out and spare the time. The beach was also a walking distance from the location. The environment is serene and calm and the pool side was also a cool place to hang out. Their meals were fine and staff were professional and helpful, especially Xornam, the young lady who always served our meals. The monkeys and birds are a cool addition to what they have going on there. Our two nights stay went great.

Very nice place to be for relaxation. Their room is very comfortable and spacious. Very friendly staff as well.
