The Float

I had a bad experience, bad room, bad breakfast and a smelling washroom. In the end I spent one night instead of three nights and they refused to refund my money. I will not recommend that place to any one out there. Their customer service is poor even the owner doesn’t treat his customers with respect.

It was a very bad experience, the pictures of the rooms online is not exactly what I got there, the washroom was smelling bad, their breakfast was bad and the most annoying part was that their customer service was nothing close to good.
Even the owner of the place doesn’t know how to treat his customers, when I noticed I didn’t like the place, I requested to see him and he never came down to see me, at the end he refused to refund my money for 2 nights. I see this as a way to dupe others. I will never recommend the Float to any one out there.

This place is a great spot for adventure, vacation and relaxation but be aware that a small portion of the road is rough and still unpaved. Additionally, the area is currently undergoing expansion and construction activities are ongoing, so you may encounter some development-related disruptions.

We had an amazing time with my good friends as we had super 👌 and cocktails.

Located at Akosombo with a breathtaking horizon. I enjoyed the weather, the food, the breakfast on the pontoon and the Swan room was memorable. I also enjoyed their activities; Kayaking, swimming and more. This is a hideout best for couples.

Had an amazing time with my family at the Float. The staff were very professional and responded promptly to all our calls. Of worthy mention in particular was the Head Receptionist, Patience, who did her utmost best to ensure that all our concerns were addressed within the shortest possible time, and always followed up to confirm our satisfaction. Surrounded by lush greenery, great views and calm waters, the Float offers a safe, clean, and serene environment for a truly unforgettable vacation experience!

It is a perfect location for out of town staycation and maximum relaxation. Experience nature in a soothing environment.

I did like to commend Patient’s service to us. She was corporative and exhibiting lots of patience in making our stay worthwhile. She paid attention to everything concerning our stay and made it comfortable.
The worker’s on the property are great. We appreciate Martin for his kindness and listening ear. However, prices of food should be looked into. Two fried eggs going for 30ghs is on the high side. Sliced bread going for 30ghs is much. Room cleaning isn’t offered on a daily when you stay for days.
We enjoyed the night cruise on the lake in the nostalgia. Kayaking prices I suggest should be reduced. Overall, the place is peaceful and the owner is amazing.

Number 1. The place doesn’t look like it does in pictures at all. It doesn’t meet expectation. Sub standard to say the least. Our room AC did not work. We stayed in it for over an hour at 17 degrees and it didn’t cool. The technician told us it was the weather at 3:30 something pm when it is even usually cooler. The water in the closet couldn’t flush. After making us wait, so long they eventually called in their manager who was very rude and insisted it was working. He sent us out and told us he won’t bother refunding either. We booked their most expensive room, the horizon. It was nothing short of a disappointment. I’m considering suing because of their dense headed manager. Who came in shouting and not ready to here anything from us or even stay in for 5 minutes to assess the situation himself.

Amazing staff, wonderful environment, you'll will have the time of your life.

This place was a NO, for me. We booked this trip earlier this year, called the morning of. We get there at night, my room was dirty, spiders everywhere black cobwebs in every corner of my room and the main part of the house. The room hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long. Then came and half cleaned the room. Nope!

It's beautiful, secluded and worth visiting. Top notch service and very healthy delicious meals 😋

I had pleasant experience and a wonderful service from the whole team especially Patience and their food was excellent. Totally recommend the Float if you ever want to experience a peaceful getaway. Thank you.

Rooms are very cozy, well recommend the swan rooms.

A nice place away from Accra with good weather, but a lot has to be done on their service and bed in at least the room we slept in. Food was good 👍
