This hotel is very torn up in the net. Sure, it has seen better times, but a new hotel is being built next door. I find the hotel has inside charm and the room I had was sensational. Sea… even from the bed. The reception was at its finest. I've been to many small hotels, but my suitcases have never been carried up. The breakfast room was the restaurant, which was unfortunately closed at the time. Breakfast plentiful. The service is wonderful.
You didn't know anything about the construction site. If you are disabled, it is a little arduous without a car (which you can better stand in Heringsdorf).

At the house, the plaster is already crumbling. Restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Staff is friendly. But the bottom line is not again.

The hotel is really well located and there is a heavenly rest here. The parking spaces are free of charge; The ladies of housekeeping very nice. The hotel has the charm of a bygone era; It wa all very clean. We liked the little nice bathroom in room No. 7. The beds are nice and soft; But you sleep poorly because the windows only open poorly or fall back to the frame. We would love to come back. A note to the management: a hotel in Usedom in the best location in the year 2018 should consider the credit card payment as a matter of course and not insist on EC card and the ladies from the reception could be quiet a bit nicer. The description of the house does not quite agree with the reality, house needs color and an interior furnisher that can adapt and decorate the existing furniture accordingly. Old historic villa that has seen better days. Spacious rooms, some even old furniture with the charm of transience. Very good breakfast. Unpaved free parking. Unfortunately closed terrace with sea view due to construction work. 5 minutes walk to the centre of Herring village and to the lakeside promenade. Value for money was okay in the month of September.

The hotel is very nice and quiet despite the construction work to the new hotel next door on top of the Kulm, but the new building seems to be necessary to do. We were at Pentecost 2015 for 4 nights in the castle. Unfortunately, in the run-up is not notified that the lock has been already 1 month is being renovated and the house to all sides of a building site had. The rooms are also very small. The W-Lan only works in the château room, but not in a rented room. Price-performance is at the upper end of prices for us in proportion.
