We had 13 days of a wonderful holiday in this hotel, unfortunately this time passed far too quickly. The Börner family has done everything possible to make us this unforgettable one. We didn't lack anything, the friendliness, the food, the accommodation, even the weather was optimal here we have been able to recover really well for a long time. We can only recommend this hotel. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice quiet hotel. A little away from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast is ok. Staff friendly. Hotel and rooms very clean.

Payment in advance. Very unusual, I don't know so.
You have to order a three course menu for about 30€ if you want to have dinner. Three to choose from. Quite tasty, but not 4 stars. Otherwise, there is nothing. Stupid if you just want to eat a little something.
Breakfast is okay, but nothing special. Also no 4 stars.
Room functional, without minibar/fridge, clean.
Staff not very cordial. But so nice.
And the rooster has annoyed. Wake up at 5 a. M. :-D But somehow it was funny.

We had a very nice new Year's holiday there. The rooms are nice and clean. There was nothing missing from the Silversterfeier. Everything was made with love and we felt very comfortable.

An older but very cozy hotel Direct lake. The hotel is very well maintained, the rooms very clean and refurbished. The operator family is very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is sufficient and offers a bit of variety every day. The food in the form of the half-board tasted good to us. The hotel is a good starting point for hikers and/or cyclists.

Those who have awarded the 4 stars are veiled and should be checked (I know Enough "real" 4 star hotels). The rooms are clean… okay, but that's almost it too. The rooms are very small, the furniture frumpy (80s, "Gelsenkirchner Baroque"). The breakfast was very good. Pre-packaged cold cuts, canned fruit and buns tasted baked. For 2 nights 196, — € (end of September) is simply brazen!

Who has awarded the 4 stars here? From hotel and restaurant. For the spontaneous dinner an alternative should be sought before. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful… very nice and clean. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. If you like the absolute seclusion, you are right, but not at this overpriced rate, because the lake is also useless at the door.

We had the feeling that young people (23) very reluctantly in the Hotel seen. You was very skeptical and looked at of kindness you could not even straight talk. Breakfast and rooms were okay.

As we are in October of 2014 there were, they gave us the feeling, as Motorradgruppe not like to be seen. On our food we waited over two hours on the terrace. To make it still really to be able to see, jumped one of us on to the Bewegungsleuchten to activate. We are traveling a lot and know what 4**** mean can. Here we have you are looking for. But, both are happy, the owner, and us: we come as pairs with the car — not again. So, all is well.
