I highly recommend this place. Super central location, large breakfast buffet and delicious food, very friendly staff (kudos) and dogs are also welcome. The rooms are already getting old (but clean), but they are currently being renovated. I feel very comfortable here. Thanks for that. 😉

It was wonderful when I entered the room I felt royalty, the buffet breakfast was the maximum and the employees who had not even said they were there to help you loved it, what is the cleaning service to the room you say good morning and they do not respond to you, apart from the fact that they only fix the bed, I do not understand what cleaning is since we brought many things, they have to improve the room service, they also have to pay an extra 10 euros to park the car that is expensive and if not includes in breakfast you have to pay 17euros per person meeting that the price is very exaggerated.
they gave us the longest room on the fourth floor I am a pregnant woman and it is very difficult for me to climb stairs with so many things that we brought, apart from the fact that we had to climb stairs when we arrived at the 4th floor I was a pregnant woman, nevertheless I had to ring a bell so they could open a door so you could pass. What stupid.

Great place with big breakfast selection in the mornings! Loved the pool table near the fake fireplace in the lobby! Good times!

We were here to watch football. It was my first visit to this hotel. I can only guess what the other hotel looks like from the inside. We were just in the lobby. It was a very nice ambience and you immediately felt very comfortable. We were immediately served at the table. Overall, it is very inviting and invites you to more.

Beautiful hotel, however, had to be modernized at times. Super breakfast and quiet rooms. If you don't sleep in really cobblestone street.

We liked the hotel very much. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only minus is the expensive price for breakfast.

For some reason, the aircomdition-problem was not mentioned and were now trying to sleep. Rooms are warmer than the exterior so we are sort of back in our tent, but with beds and a tv. Cold showers instead of a cool nights sleep. The hotel in all other ways is clean, nice and comfortable. Bedding is not up to par with what I have come to expect from the pricerange. All in all, a good place that failed in a very very important part; the climatecobtrol of the rooms (and importantly, the rest of the building). Wifi is very very slow. Its ”the cloud” service that is notorious for ssl-spoofing and npt working with vpn connections. Beware if this is your primary intention. ** addition Upon checkout, there was a problem for reimbirsement sonce we allready paid the stay. This seems very odd since its a matter of will to me. This changes the whole thing around and from what I can see, the respect for the customer is slim to none when they "forget" to tell you that the hotelrooms will almost certanly reach 26-30°C at night. Yes, even hotter than outside.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! So impressed with of little doggy present and set up. 10/10 for location, look and decor and service. Highly recommend.

Great central location, nice rooms with the best beds I have ever been allowed to enjoy in a hotel. The breakfast also left no wishes unfulfilled. Happy to return!

Very centrally located and very well equipped hotel. There are bright, clean and very modern rooms. The noise of the city centre does not penetrate the rooms and disturbs the night's rest.
There is a very fine and tasty cuisine.
The car park belongs to the Rostocker Hof, where there are extra reserved places for hotel guests.

Very nice, modern and clean hotel!
Our room was beautifully large, friendly, modern and had as a highlight a pinball machine! For us as a family a lot of fun! The views of the Old Town and the pedestrian area were also impressive. Of course, there's a lot going on there late into the night — but that's the way it is in the city.
We'll be happy to come back!

I stayed for two days on business. The young woman's staff is very unfriendly. I have never seen her smile And I asked for water and a big coke. But the six-euro water, Coke, received two. 0.21 liters. The total is € 10. I was surprised and asked for a refund on a coke. But she sighed. I didn't even get the receipt. And I was offended when I checked in. It was as strange as she wanted to know what was going on. racial discrimination It was very uncomfortable. But the room is big, and clean.

It was a very cool and special Stay There… like it a lot.

Stayed at this hotel for several times. Breakfast is OK. Occasional noise until late at night. Room was awfully air-conditioned or musty warm as on an old loft. At night, some kind of ventilation system/compressor ran in direct proximity to the room. Without earplugs this will be nothing.
Professionally you can stay there, as company costs. Private no recommendation.

The room (414) was very spacious and modern furnished. The beds were super comfy. The location of the hotel is great as it is located right in the city centre.
We had booked an overnight stay as we were at a wedding. We came back to the hotel very late at night.
Unfortunately, we could not sleep because somewhere in the building was started at 7 o'clock in the morning with tables and chairs to back. Permanent and without a break. It was boomed throughout the room and it was not the breakfast room.
When we talked about the problem when checking out, we were told that some guests had already complained about it. And that's it. No apology or similar. Normally I would have given 5 stars but since we did not respond to our problem, I prefer two stars.

Very nice hotel in the centre. Large room, comfortable beds, clean bathroom. The price was absolutely justified. Very friendly staff. I can only recommend it.

Fantastic mattresses, fluffy duvet, slightly too thin pillows. Huge bathroom. Exceptionally well trained staff. Everyone, really every employee I've experienced, was incredibly friendly, accommodating, thinking. Optically to me personally too modern, but I am sure that pleases many others. Super fitness room, chic sauna. Overall, I really enjoyed staying there and well. Thanks to the whole team!

The hotel is really nice, although somewhat worn out. The rooms are equipped with a bathtub. The situation could not be better. Parking fees are affordable as a hotel guest.

Edit: After a long time there was a voucher for compensation. There are 2 stars for this.

Young hotel with modern design. Typical Conference hotel. Central location. You can easily reach everything worth seeing on foot. Good breakfast. Nice friendly staff.

Disappointing.
We were in Rostock for the first time and decided to go for Penta, because we were absolutely thrilled by the Penta in Leipzig.
Now, frankly, we were a little disappointed. The reception was not very friendly. Our room had 2 single beds. We then contacted the reception staff to see if it would be possible to get a double bed. His answer was that no double beds would be available anymore. Quote from the employee: "Who comes first, paints first".
The room (penta Plus) does not look as illustrated in the Internet. Pay TV does not really offer what you would imagine (3 channels? ). TV generally in poor quality. In the year 2017 7, €50 per day for good internet connection to pay is also not really contemporary.
In theory, you would have to enter the hotel directly from the shopping arcade at least 2 places with the room card. That just didn't go away. Pretty frustrating.
We stayed in many hotels of different class and have never written a review. But this time it had to be. Overall, the offered quality is not appropriate for the requested price.
We hope that the hotel management will take this to heart and make something of it.

Located right in the center at the shopping street, parking for the car is under the hotel. Very good breakfast and good standard of room.

Second time I have been here. Won't be my last. Standard pentahotel. Good staff, amenities and services. Parking and location is fantastic. There is a discotheque next door, but I never heard any music. Inner city and harbour is in comfortable walking distance. Rooms are showing signs of aging, but still clean and good. Bed is good, AC good. I never liked the pentahotel style shower, but it does what it is supposed to. Prices are alright in comparison to other local hotels. I will be back.

Great location, stylish rooms, lively vibe, Wi-Fi sucks. Free Wi-Fi is super slow and brittle. Even if you pay it's not really fast, less than 2.5Mbits measured, only seems to work on one device and some sites never work. Frustrating.

Very nice! The modern rooms have everything you need, the location is 1a and the Lounge is very cozy. I have somewhere else for double the price already poor sleep. You can tell that the Hotel used to be a Marriot Courtyard.

Super, very nice! However, it would be very nice, if you have the air conditioning colder setting. The Breakfast is okay, great selection.

Best location: in the middle of the City, but still quiet. Very modern furnished. Somewhat Spartan furnishings. Bathroom with shower, but no soap. Rooms are very big and tall. Great is the scene of the crime-an evening in the Lounge: on the huge Flat to the scene of the crime a Steak with fries and beer for 16, 80.

This Hotel is a blast. Who to Rostock, should stay here. The rooms are great and clean, the staff super friendly and you just feel good. I am professional in Rostock and stay overnight for a total of eight weeks of three days here, and can only say: thumbs up! Great Hotel and who on the net looking can here (at least during the week) a good price for the room.
