The contact is very friendly, clean hotel, large rooms, very good food, sumptuous breakfast. Only unfortunately my room was too bright for my taste, otherwise top.

Gute Noten für Ambiente, Service, Speis und Trank in der Alten Schule Am 13.05.2018 wollten wir den schönen Tag mit einem guten Essen ausklingen lassen und entschieden uns für einen Besuch in der Alten Schule in Siek. Bereits mehrere Wochen vorher habe ich im Restaurant angefragt, welche vegetarischen Speisen es noch im Angebot gäbe, woraufhin man mir eine vegetraische Speisekarte zugeschickt hat, die es so nicht auf der Website zu finden gibt. Dazu gab es noch die Hinweis, dass diese Speisen vorher angemeldet werden sollten. Entsprechend habe ich parallel zur Reservierung (am späten Nachmittag des selben Tages) gleich den vegetarischen Burger angemeldet. Parken direkt vor dem Haus ist kein Problem. Bei der überpünktlichen Ankunft entschieden wir uns aufgrund des schönen Wetters für einen Platz im schön angelegten Außenbereich. Wir bekamen auch gleich die Karten. Zusätzlich wurden uns noch die tagesaktuellen Zusatzgerichte aufgezählt. Davon gab es aber so viele, dass ich schon beim Aufzählen die Übersicht verloren habe: Pulled Pork Burger, Rücken vom dry aged Duroc Schwein, Spargel mit diversen Beilagen… Leider kam dabei auch heraus, dass die Anmeldung für den vegetarischen Burger zu spät erfolgt ist. Als Getränke entschieden wir uns für die hausgemachte Limettenlimonade (die auch nicht auf der Karte zu finden ist) und Apfelsaft. Nach den Getränken brachte man uns zwei verschiedene Sorten Brot (Zwiebel — und Karottenbrot) mit einem Bärlauchdip.

We were eating at the restaurant. Fantastic delicious food and it looked fantastic on the plate as well. Very friendly service. I can recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Absolutely excellent cuisine! Also the hotel is great — extensive breakfast — great ambiance! Very family friendly! Staff very courteous, attentive and nice! We've been here a couple of times. Also the surrounding area is very nice I can only recommend it to anyone! Full score well deserved.

Unfortunately very expensive and little choice but the food there is very leucker. As a hotel It is also good to use, the staff are always nice and cheerful. But only 4 stars since it is really very expensive.

Beautiful hotel, very nice staff, delicious food and a nice selection of good beers. They have made me feel very welcome and have taken care of all my needs. Worth a visit if not staying.

I can report only good for 4 nights in the old school. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated.
The quiet location in the village of Siek on the outskirts of the city of Hamburg is ideal for business trips for HH. The A1 is just 2 minutes away.
For breakfast, there is everything the heart desires. Sausage, cheese, cereals, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, as well as fruit and yogurt.
The tea selection is very good.
The hotel restaurant offers very good North German cuisine.
The prices are high, but reasonable.
The staff is super friendly and meets small Extrawürstchen.

We got married here in September 2015 and would do it again right here, with just the food and everything you need!
Already the preliminary interview was nice, personally and great, it was implemented everything so as we previously discussed.
The quality of the food is excellent (the roast beef is a dream! ) and even the desserts are so delicious, that no one could resist! The service has been consistently friendly and attentive.
In addition, the hotel is highly recommended! Would we live not so close we would certainly make the one or the other weekend there!

Yesterday I finally got it in the Old school! And I was absolutely not disappointed: Great ambiance, very friendly and attentive Service and the food is absolutely great! As a Starter I have Labskaus is selected, the main course (sirloin Steak, tender roasted pink, definitely a great performance! Price range in the upper level, but absolutely appropriate! I will soon be there again to dine…

A ray of hope and Offenbahrung, especially if you are from Rahlstedt comes and there lack of Alternatives in the Hotel Eggers had to eat.

A gem on the "flat Land". In the old schoolhouse is fine but not stiff, fed. The Service is perfect, friendly, professional, the wine list is very good and the ambience warm. Priced reasonably, more of a Restaurant for the "special occasion".

My family has eaten in the restaurant numerous times and have never had anything approaching a bad meal or service. Always excellent and first class. Also stayed at the hotel twice. Very comfortable and an excellent breakfast. Family Franke have a great establishment. Krygwy.
