Beautiful, cozy hotel in the north of Schleswig-Holstein.
We were looking for a hotel to reach both the North and Baltic Seas on holiday and came to the "Romantic Country House" due to the good reviews.
The location is quiet yet central in the small village of Kropp, so you can also shop on foot. The hotel is furnished with a lot of love and numerous small and large artifacts by the hosts, who are very friendly and helpful. Our room (11), located to the rear with private terrace, comfortable bed and shower + bathtub (! ) we liked very much.
For our purposes, the location of the hotel was ideal: 5 minutes to the A7, a good 15 minutes to Schleswig and Rendsburg, a little further to the nearest Baltic Sea beach Eckernförde, to Flensburg or to the North Sea to Husum / Nordstrand. Due to its proximity to the motorway, the hotel is also well suited for holidaymakers on their way to Denmark or Sylt — with only one stopover at this hotel being definitely too short.
The breakfast buffet was rich and tasty, dinner is in the village or if you are on the road anyway, no problem.
