The food there was excellent. We had fried fillet from the country pig. The meat was super fried and delicious. In addition, the ambience is very nice. The service was great, attentive and very friendly. We're happy to come back.

Even today I booked this small snazzy hotel through one of the usual portals. I was a little bit later and was able to register in the restaurant and was received extremely friendly.
I had booked a single room, which was quite sufficient in size. Decorated in a retro style, it leaves almost nothing to be desired. The shower room was clean and has a good size. All in all everything clean and tidy and the windows provided with insect grids which is very good, since the nearby North-East Sea Canal calls up some mosquitoes and stuff.
There are three small things to complain about.
1. Gaaanz bad, breakfast only from 8:00 a. M. Which is just too late for someone on a business trip.
2. The single bed (see photos) is a torment for a great person.
3. In the shower there is no possibility to put yourself under the shower, there is simply no holder for the shower. Only at the height of the navel. This is totally stupid and does not contribute to the well-being.
You might think the hotel is designed for Liliputaner.

Some say you wait for the service for a long time. I cannot confirm. Great ambience with views of the canal, ferry and ships. Incoming operation. Delicious food.

Spontaneous visit Whit Monday in the afternoon. Nevertheless, no space problem, wonderful sitting in the sun by the canal. Good card, the food was totally fine, asparagus perfect, salad/appetizers too. Service friendly and attentive.
The vegetarian curry was okay but goes better. Definitely become a visit.

Food was very good. No disabled restaurant with a wheelchair is not possible. Nice operation only the billing was worse than at Aldi at the checkout.

Good food and a great view right on the North Baltic Canal. In the summer a must to drink a glass of wine in the evening and let the soul dangle.

Just "small but nice" super atmosphere, clean, good food and friendly people… and the middle of winter time.

Beautiful ambience and great food. The staff are also very friendly. And always summer there is a small snack with seating for the quick coffee and little hunger. We like to be there.

For a pleasant price good food, unique canal views, small but cozy rooms, free parking and great breakfast. I'll be back!

Ambiance Beautiful. Disappointed by unfriendly service (affects one lady, the other cannot be specified). No sign of "closed company" due to a murder mystery dinner online or at the door. No offer to be able to participate spontaneously, even though tables were free. Uncharming and unmotivated. What a pity.

The location is unbeatable — right on the with views of the passing ships. The guest room is furnished individually — each table is different and with their own chairs. Since it is convenient and less comfortable places — watch out! Outside on the terrace, it is of course the most Beautiful, if weather permits. The food was good and plentiful, the service fast and friendly, pricing is moderate. The room: we had room 1; a small, but very good mattresses and clean wet cell. Totally ok! Parking: large Parking lot behind the house, free of charge! Rest: neither in front of the ferry waiting cars or the passing ships pose a noise nuisance. Overall, a very positive overall impression — which is why we were already for the second Time since.

At first we were disappointed that we were not able to have dinner. Our flight was delayed so we arrived too late. The morning staff made up for everything… making the stay very comfortable and most gracious.

Easter Sunday with 7 people for lunch and coffee drinking have been there. Ambience, views, location and food were very good. The Service was very good. After the warm food came for lunch relatively quickly after placing the order to us, we waited only to be able to at all times make an order for coffee and cake in an hour to give up almost. The operation has not responded simply. After we were able to give up then finally our order a couple of coffee, a koffeiin-free Latte, two ice creams and 2 cakes, it took again about half an hour until the cake and ice cream came. The coffee arrived and then again 20 min later. It would be nice to have been allowed the coffee to the cake to enjoy. The Latte was a bad milk coffee without any taste, and had absolutely nothing to do with coffee. Admittedly, it was very full, what should not be on an Easter Sunday surprise… The Service was completely overwhelmed and might make thoughts about the organization of the coffee and cake orders, and settlements. The warm food was not a Problem. Pity, otherwise would have a beautiful Easter Sunday…

Had for Whitsunday a table reserw. Was but a little busy. It has been for us then, but two tables put together food was good. Only the fried potatoes were soggy. Disabled people meet, it is also not.

This ferry was the wechselplatz of our relay race from Putten in the Netherlands to Ladelund in North Friesland. We had a choice of first in the Bivak something Nothern to eat and dan back here af our "colleagues" to wait. We have chosen for dan Fährhaus. 3 hours here gewarted to the other group on the other side arrived. It was the most Beautiful place where we are in our relay race-change gewarted. Wonderful coffee with as possible, even herlicher cake. First, on the terrace, and later on in the collapsed table in the hall. Thank you very much for the warm welcome.

After a canoe trip on the Wilster Au has returned. Very cozy outside sitting and the ships in the channel were observed. Food excellent at a fair price. Staff very friendly. Food was quickly there. Keep it up.
