Very good location and very friendly staff. But the elevator installation is a cheekiness. It must not be that you have to wait for the elevator for several minutes all the time and then it is still crowded and that in corona times. With the money you pay here, you can expect not to spend your time in front of the elevator.

Stayed here for 3 days from Tuesday to Friday. Hotel is very modern furnished. The staff all very nice and helpful.

I found it a bit of a pity that the bars were not open due to "Corona" and "staff shortage".

Very friendly and competent staff. The location is 1A, quiet and central. Super breakfast buffet. Bar and restaurants top. Inside — and outdoor pool. Hygiene — and corona concept excellent. I can only recommend, even if many things here need to be renovated and are no longer up-to-date.

Large hotel in a prime location on the Baltic Sea beach, but the building is already "old". Breakfast is great, the friendliness at the reception is expandable!
However, the technical support at events is perfect.
I was disturbed by the fact that there are only 2 lifts in the whole hotel, you wait an unbelievably long or finally walk.

The consistently friendly staff sweetened our already dreamlike stay in a hotel with an incredible view. In my opinion, cleanliness is exemplary — Thank you very much!

The rooms were good and the breakfast was great! But I went there to go on holiday and to rest! Unfortunately, this was hardly possible. Among us, someone has lived who has heard constantly loud music, despite complaining several times at the reception nothing has changed. Also at the pool it was far too loud, by screaming children who also constantly jumped from the edge of the pool. We went to the indoor pool late at about 21:00 because we thought now it was quieter! Unfortunately, again, screaming children have behaved completely beside them. This is not possible for the price you pay in the hotel. I think it has to be remembered that other guests will not be bothered! In addition, it is outrageous to charge 20€ per day for parking for the price, especially since a fine at the door costs only 10€! And no, it doesn't cost money to park at every hotel on the Baltic Sea. It is only exploited here that much older lords are in the Maritim and of course they can no longer walk far! I also don't think it's okay that the website offers that you can rent a beach basket through the Maritim! The offer is no longer available at all
Should you then revise the website!

We were there 6 years ago. I assumed that the rooms had been renovated by now. That was not the case. I have 2 double rooms inhabited with my family and we were so disappointed. The rooms are very bad for the price. I'm not going to come back to them. We have received daily complaints, whether at the breakfast table or at the reception. After the stay the back hurt so much, wg the pierced mattress. The fan from the bathroom did not go. Etc.

Awesome beach bar. Perfect for an aperitif. Beautiful view and tastey cocktails.

As always, the front desk staff is decidedly unkind. The luggage is left to the customer. You take happy prices for antiquated rooms. The staff show a frustrated attitude. No trace of professional behaviour towards guests
Not recommended.

Isn't the management and the hotel management ashamed of this brazenness as far as their FALSCHEN stars are concerned with this shabby hotel? Prices at 5 star level and a standard like a cheap breakfast, at least as far as the rooms are concerned. I was the last guest there it doesn't help if no one likes to express themselves from those responsible. WE guests are not stupid and luckily have the choice of not visiting this hotel any more. Such a cheeky!

High standard, even if a bit dated hotel. Best of all? Sekt is included in the breakfast buffet! Located right by a long beach with the (at the time) ice cold East sea a few meters from the door.

A very high-quality and expensive Hotel. Rather older Audiences. Good Food. Nice, very previously come-by staff. Large Outdoor Swimming Pool with Seawater.
Direct Access to the Sea.

First Hotel on the Square in exclusive Facilities. Very well furnished Rooms with cosy Facilities. There is nothing missing, Staff very friendly.

The food is great, the rooms clean, but not modern, outlets at the bedside turn off with the light (mobile phone charging only goes at the table). W Lan is free but very very slow.

Top Lage, besser geht es kaum.

We were here as external guests in the spa area, which I think could tolerate a little more modern and cleanliness.
The indoor pool in particular was unfortunately dirty and we were right there in the morning.
The sauna area was okay, but everything a bit loveless.
The rooms for the massage could be darkened a bit so that you can enjoy the relaxation.
In addition, eg essential oils or the like would be an idea.

Very nice hotel, the Aufendhalt was very good. Even though the hotel has come in the years, everything is very clean and kept up again. Who wants a bath of glass, and cold laminate or tiles in the rooms and hallways as is currently a lot of fashion. Also the staff all very nice. Keep it up.

All in all we like it again and again, even though the hotel has been in the years. However, it seems to us that the choice of food, especially in the desserts, has hardly changed in recent years.
Furthermore, I lack further Steckkdosen to be able to load mobile phone, tablet, etc. Without having to forego a light source first.

Our favourite hotel for 25 years. The food is good just a pity that lately so much of the regular staff is gone. Otherwise we were always satisfied with the service.

Overall, my wife and the signatory were very happy with our stay at the Maritim (evaluation of the different areas — see above).
The stay in the "Wind Jammer Bar" is a bit of a pity due to the cigarette smoke of the smoker. Perhaps one day this area will also be "smoke-free" in the Maritim.
The rooms were very clean and well maintained, especially the bathroom.

It's a pity that some doors of wardrobe cabinets squeaked terribly. Here the door hinges of the cupboards urgently lack some oil.
Summary: Again a nice and great stay at the Maritim. Congrats to the hotel management and the staff team.

Good hotel in great location (front city and back beach). If there is a need for some refurbishment in the rooms, the location, the particularly good breakfast with excellent service staff, the not so good ambience in the rooms will leave something to the background. There is also a bar in the hotel where smoking is allowed. Even if I am not a smoker, I find it positive for smokers.

Very courteous service in all areas. The spa area is a perfect place to relax. Sauna and pool are very nice and generous.
The food is excellent as well. Overall, the Maritim is absolutely recommended.

The hotel has been really in the years. Absolutely nothing special anymore. We had to wait for our wine order for 20 minutes with the note you look in the basement to see if you still have it. The wine list is really not that big. Then we decided on an alternative in the meantime. On the food we waited 45 min for a single vegetarian main dish on the daily menu penne with tomatoes totally dull and unloved. Totally disappointing as well as the service in the restaurant and the room. Only the sea view and the pool area are nice and the breakfast was delicious. We do not make for €250/night half board again! We can put the money in a much nicer place.

Service great. Unfortunately facilities come in the years but very clean. Room ventilation very noisy at night, I found extremely disturbing while sleeping. Therefore, I will not come back. Audience rather than 50.

A wonderful location. Here the rooms are maintained and the guests are pampered. Is right on the beach and I can only say — the friendliest staff in the world! Anytime again!

I had a great time. The view of the sea is fantastic and the pool area is highly recommended.

The hotel and the location are great, there is a nice SPA, nice saunas, garden, etc. I suppose it's a great place for relaxation if that's what you are there for. But I was there for work (a conference), and I needed to use internet. Unfortunately I could not get the signal from my room, and even in the common spaces (the lobby) internet was often very slow. For the rest, everything was fine. The staff is very nice and friendly.

Super location, very nice wellness area, good breakfast, excellent staff! Rooms unfortunately a bit of a day (manufacturer's sign of "AG Weser" they have probably already disappeared for 25 years) but everything tip-top clean, bathroom probably already renovated and ok so! Super beach bar! All in all had a nice time, gladly again!

I am to say at the least, not at all happy with this hotel. The room is quite dirty, the balcony needs to be restored, the furniture is old, everything is old and looks shabby. The worst is the disco, it was impossible to sleep at all, the music was too loud, and all the people outside screaming, and the music got louder and louder. Finally the room was too hot, no AC and not possible to have the balcony door open due to all the noise. The bed is also very hard. I had to ask twice for an extra pillow. I go for n holiday to relax not to be kept unwillingly awake due to some disco! I am really upset, the hotel does really not live up to their ratings. Let's see if I get a new room tomorrow. However, I will never go back here nor recommend anyone to stay here.

We always like to come as guests in the Maritim Seehotel Timmendorf. The location cannot be beat and cuisine and service to our full satisfaction. A total renewal would do well the rooms.

Tolle Lage, direkt am Strand.

We had a room on the 4th floor to the Lake beyond.
Location, breakfast, spa area: Very well — worth 5 stars.
The room had a backlog of renovation for years. Wall-paper kräuselten on the edges of the shock. A wall covering made of wood were scrubbed many cases along. I wanted to upgrade to a different category. There was nothing better to get preserved however.
Assigned the staircase — as such — went in the 1st floor of the kitchen. So no emergency stairs. In the second stairway, a mattress was turned off.
Both staircases were obviously not as such for normal use provided. The architect has provided for the high and down the elevators.
I use always the stairs in a hotel. I want to know the escape route in case of need. This is a personal quirk.

The concerts in the hotel are so fundamentally good. Meanwhile, the catering of the hotel has drawn and delivered the perfect atmosphere to the event. Again and again.

Nice spot but not very much in the city centre.

The table waste bucket are missing excellent and extensive breakfast in the breakfast room. That would be very helpful during the meal, clean to dispose of the remains.

As always, our 2-day stay was in the Maritim Seehotel Timmendorfer Strand, very well.
The breakfast and the dinner just wonderful.
Swimming pool, sauna and the staff anyway.
We will recommend it anywhere and we come
very happy to (over) again.
