Super hotel, restaurant was so lala; Food was ok — complaints in the restaurant were not received professionally by the service.

A beautiful old building in the landlord style with a clear, functional extension. The view over the Krusenkoppel down to the fjord is certainly unique. The hotel has a good reputation and our guests (private as well as business) who we stayed here were always very satisfied. The wellness area is sufficient and beautiful. The merchant's shop as a "restaurant for every day" is very well run. Pleasant service personnel and a clear, very good regional map with the highest quality. The gourmet restaurant deserves its name. An excellent menu is offered with matching wines. We had the pleasure to taste a great menu with various Amuse Gueule. It was very worthwhile and the price is well acceptable, the service unobtrusively loosecompetent. The kitchen excellent! Always happy to do so again.

Hotel performance according to the category good and service attentive. The performance of the restaurant at breakfast also good and sufficient choice. Eat well in the restaurant and remarkable for a hotel restaurant.
The rooms are large enough, but are likely to be renovated soon.

Oldish. Scenery outside very good, pool area not the best. Breakfast was a small disappointment.

Since FASR 10 years I come regularly to this wonderful house. I have never missed anything, from checkin to checkout everything was perfect, so also in the last week. Attentive staff, helpfulness wherever necessary, a mega delicious dinner in pleasant Atmösphäre, a great breakfast and a great room, what does woman want more? The summer can also be topped if breakfast on the terrace is already a highlight of the day. I am already looking forward to the next time with you in the far north! Nice spa area with sauna and swimming pool, very friendly staff.

Great gateway place. Lovely fixtures and surrounded by woods. Beds were comfortable and there is a sense of relaxation in this hotel. Would definitely come back!

Our room in the new building is very large with a lot of attention to detail. The view of the park and the water round off the feel-good atmosphere. Especially highlight is the walk-in wardrobe and the large bathroom with bathtub. The restaurant Kaufmann's shop lets the evening end in a culinary way. It doesn't always have to be the star restaurant. The dishes in the merchant shop convince with freshness and the meat is cooked perfectly. Of course I would like to highlight the friendliness of the staff. Always attentive and professional. Thank you very much!

Very nice hotel near the water. Friendly staff, large rooms. Various gastronomy, from the cocktail bar to the star restaurant. Quite large indoor pool.

Very nice ambiance. Good service. Great location. The rooms are attractively furnished. I can only recommend it. The renovation was worth it. Food at the grocery store was very good.

Negative: Impossible to be unfriendly receptionist, especially on arrival with dog. Poor value for money regarding the condition of the room.
Positive: View and selection at breakfast.

Check-in: Smooth, everything was prepared on time. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. On wishes outside the included services was restrained, only incomprehensible, in the end, but Agreeably responded.
Rooms: The rooms in the new building are modern and spacious. The page with Fördeblick is recommended. The bathroom is equipped with a large shower and a single washbasin. There is a small separate dressing room. The rooms in the new building are preferable to those in old buildings. All in all very good facilities. A bit strange: room service costs €5 surcharge per dish.
Spa: The spa area, which is open to guests, is limited to a fitness room, a small swimming pool (approx. 10x4x1, 5m), some lounge chairs, a steam room and a dry sauna. Positive: Sufficient number of chairs around the pool, beautiful view outside on meadow and trees. Negative: maintenance and care not adequate (fittings and hose in the steam bath scruffy, bucket of the surge shower defective and dismantled), water from plastic cups free of charge, coffee and tea for an extra charge, no juices, no essential oil in steam bath or sauna infusion.
Conclusion Spa: For hotel guests included in the price, fits. For external guests just under €30, clearly too expensive for the offered.
Dinner: Dinner at the Ahlmanns is worthy of the star. Regional ingredients, seasonal dishes, about 3 to 6 courses freely selectable to menu prices between 68 and €150. The service is very good.

A lovely hotel, nicely decorated and the larger rooms overlooking the grounds are highly recommended. Breakfast was OK. Waiting staff slightly glum but not enough to detract from the fact I would return without hesitation. Most hotels in Germany are dull, glum and slightly communist in their design. This was none of those things and that's why it gets five stars from me.

I was eating at the grocery store today. I had as a starter the Holsteins antipast, this starter I can evaluate with very good. As a Hauptang I had the the Husum Deichlamrücken also this I can evaluate with very good. The wine list is well thought out, it is nice that there are 0, 375 bottles. For my taste, more mature white wines could be added. The sommelier has explained in a very friendly conversation their wines great. I look forward to the next visit to the Kieler Kaufmann!

Great service, small fine card (absolutely try: sweet potato fries with truffle mayonnaise! ). High quality, high prices.

Fantastic hotel — best in town, no doubt. Excellent service culture — especially the young lady that check us in and out. Good bar and great breakfast. Rooms are well maintained with beautiful interior. Breakfast is excellent and high food quality and friendly staff. Pool is nice, gym a bit small, but good fitness club (well-you is 1km walking distance). This hotel is five star level, amazing experience. Thank you.

Too bad I didn't really want to believe a customer's bad criticism. Unfortunately, the bad "service", for example, has In the case of a room request alone, "man" has failed, confirmed. It used to be different.

I find the location great but I found the service quality left to be desired. No possibility without standing up the reorder. And amusing was also the statement, to the demand for water glasses to the Gr. Fl. Water, you would stand at the buffet you can get yourself.

Doctors training in far too small space with 100 participants without adequate ventilation. Air for cutting. Had to leave space in flight.

Stylish hotel with large rooms. I review here but only the food and this is a pleasure. From venison to fish, I am was never disappointed.

When we arrived at the hotel and sew our rooms we thought we where in for a great time. How wrong we where. The rooms we had was very nice with a connection room for our children which was great. After that it just went down the hill. When we ask the reception to book the restaurant we couldn't because there was a wedding on? Guess what we still got a table by asking a waiters and told him would not be long in eating, we where given a room menu? the food was very good but it would have been nice to have had a pudding aswell, whice we where never offered. Next morning at booking out we ask if we could have the same rooms again the following week but no as there was another wedding on that day and so they where going to put use in some other rooms whice was lot small then we had and no discount, the thing is the room was still very close to the wedding. We have come to the conclusion that we will never stay there again, what happen to customer service. We are a family who have travelled all over the world, and never have we had sort a bad service. Same on you.
