Leonardo Hotel Weimar

The location of the hotel is very well and quietly located by the park.
The parking spaces are completely overpriced, but with luck you can park for free in the side streets.
Since we were there at the time of Corona, both bar, restaurant and all wellness facilities were unfortunately closed. We did not expect this to this extent (was not mentioned at the time of booking), as in Thuringia all surrounding restaurants and wellness facilities are open "normally".
The breakfast was also adapted to the corona regulations, so that there was no buffet, but each guest was served individually. For breakfast we had to book a fixed time at check-up.
I have a gluten intolerance, which we have already noted at the time of booking and again at check-in. Nevertheless, I had to ask every day and wait at least 10 minutes for "my" rolls (we have noted this fact again at the reception in between) Since you only have one hour of breakfast time, this is already very unfavorable. My partner ordered a hard-boiled egg several times. We got to know virtually every state of the body that an egg can accept and it was hard at just about 8.
But that's the Hotel 4! Stars did not have the bathrooms in good condition and would have to be repaired in some places (joint/ jump in the toilet/ button on the hair dryer is fixed with a plaster)
All in all, we would not recommend this hotel. Beautiful location but unfortunately it was. Too bad for money.

The Hotel is really nice. The Breakfast is good. The evening should be avoided, however, the in-house Restaurant. "The cook is in love"

Very nice staff, breakfast for everyone, very good selection,
it is a pity that the entrance area is completely taken by smokers and the senses of the smell literally slip away,
not self-opening doors would be good, as as a wheelchair user does not necessarily have your hands free,
Rooms are clean and okay,
yes, the bathroom needs a renewal
we would come back again, yes
Cleanliness is a matter of refurbishment.

Come for two years to the Leonardo and it is just super begins when you check in at the Bar and in the evening in the Restaurant, to the Breakfast … all very nice and friendly.

Huge and fancy Hotel, lots of facilities, super position, friendly and efficient staff, exellent breakfast!
