The food and the ambience were really excellent. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired: cold, distant and not very customer-oriented. Six of us were squeezed into a table for four people, even though there were larger tables available right next to us — shortly before closing time. The service staff noticed this situation, but seemed to consciously not want to intervene.
In addition, after the cancellation, our overnight prices were initially reduced from 130 euros to 65 euros, but were surprisingly increased to just over 85 euros when paying.
Despite the culinary and atmospheric quality, a bland aftertaste remains.
➜ The rooms are modernly furnished and clean. Our bathroom was very large. Our daughter, husband and baby even had another small room. Of course that was great. The owners and all the staff were very friendly and hardworking. Despite the rush at breakfast, they had everything well under control. The breakfast buffet was rich and sophisticated. Upon request, you could even get freshly prepared scrambled eggs with or without bacon. The location in the middle of the old town is also ideal. We'll definitely be back.
