Even when the restaurant was already closed, the staff found a way to provide food for late-arriving guests. Overall, the hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere, and many guests feel right at home.

The hotel offers a very varied and high-quality buffet breakfast with many homemade dishes. Guests describe it as one of the best they have ever tasted. Breakfast starts early, from 7:00 AM, which is very convenient for families with children planning a visit to the stables.

The restaurant serves excellent regional cuisine, with particular praise for the Thuringian dumplings, roulades, solyanka, and meat dishes (such as roasted water buffalo beef). Portions are generous, and prices are considered reasonable. However, one guest noted a lack of vegan options on the menu. An isolated negative experience was also recorded: a guest complained about non-crispy, seemingly not freshly prepared schnitzels, bone fragments in a meat dish, and a salad being substituted without prior notice.

Opinions regarding the rooms are mixed. Many guests find them clean, cozy, and functional, noting comfortable mattresses that do not cause back pain. Some mention that the furniture is somewhat dated. However, one guest who rented the "Schwein" apartment was extremely dissatisfied: according to them, the actual living area is significantly smaller than advertised (about 30 sq m instead of 60), the apartment is cramped, with low ceilings in the bedroom and no wardrobes for clothes. This guest also noted that the online photos do not reflect reality.
