Hospitality is very important here. The delicious cuisine and the idyllic location, the stylish restaurant and the detailed garden inspire again and again.

Nice ambience and delicious cuisine. We are happy to come back!

We were at the Women's Day celebration. Very nice evening for girls. We had a lot of fun and the staff was very, very friendly. The band great.

We wanted to have dinner there tonight, were warmly welcomed in the pleasantly furnished restaurant.
after we had chosen, my companion ordered for herself beef roulade with red cabbage and cloves.
it looked appetite light, but the joy and appetite were quickly lost. The roulade was hard and therefore not edible, (14.90€).
then she has the waiter to take the food back, which also happened immediately. She was offered a soup because she didn't value a new serving of roulade.
The crowning achievement of the evening, however, was that the non-edible portion of beef roulade was billed to my companion.
M. E. Would have had an apology here and it would have been in the guest's interest that this food should not be paid for.
Conclusion: a visit to the restaurant will never take place. Shouldn't be the haste king in such a locality.

Nice location, but that's it. The waitress with short blonde hair was very rude. It seemed almost a torment to serve one. Then there were also 2 cards for 7 men. She then claims the reserved signs next door she would have just put up — could have sat us down next door — a slick lie. The fact that the ice cream then also had frozen crystals in it was unfortunately also fitting into the picture.

Great after the conversion, great atmosphere, air-conditioned, fortunately in the current heat. You might think the kitchen crew has been completely replaced. The food was top this time and not just average. For that, five points today.

A very great little hotel with a very good restaurant with Thuringian specialties. The price/performance ratio was very good and the staff friendly and accommodating. Although we arrived quite late around 9 p. M. We still got a hot meal, which was not the case in other hotels in the place.

Very nicely rebuilt. Furnished indoors and outdoors. The chef does his job excellently.

Thuringia's treats … already enjoyed the 2nd time …

A fantastic hotel with the most cordial staff. Very nice and always clean rooms. The food is insanely delicious. We are very happy to be here every time. Unfortunately, time is getting so fast. Thanks to the great people of the entire hotel Forest Mill team.

The portions of the food were not sufficient, so my wife had to order something else.

Unfortunately, both the Soljanka and the noodles of the main course were only lukewarm. In addition, we were charged two beers too much, as we unfortunately only noticed afterwards: — (

1st Christmas holiday with 12 people have been here. Right at the reception was plurged by the boss "you wish Merry Christmas, so much time must be! " We waited 60 minutes for the pre-soup, another 30 minutes for the main course. Now we have been waiting for 30 minutes for the bill, which is being calculated on the calculator. At my request, I was plowed again by the boss, Christmas would probably have time to bring, if not, you had to book somewhere else. Only Plus and therefore only star: The food was good.

Excellent Thuringian cuisine, restaurant, beer garden/Christmas market very welcoming, stylish and cosy. Staff is very attentive, courteous and helpful, professionally competent, friendly. The hotel rooms are clean and very clear, i. E. Small, especially the bathroom, which can be a problem for "big" people. All in all, a very recommendable house in a beautiful location.

The completely new restaurant is just the hammer. Beautifully designed and all very very bright! The food was good as always. A great compliment goes to the restaurant specialist Mr. Schön. Always very friendly, attentive, fast… Such staff is too little!

Very nice mittelpreisiges hotel with beautiful surroundings. Food and room excellent. Was there 16 years ago and felt very comfortable again. It will be our goal every year.

We had a great short break in the Waldmühle!
The motto "where guests become friends" is lived here. The friendly staff, the good cuisine, the beautiful wellness area with a super-landscaped garden, clean and comfortably equipped family room, great location, rich breakfast with lots of fresh products, …
We felt very comfortable and will come back when the new restaurant is ready!

Our family celebration was very well organized by the team of the hotel Waldmühle and implemented. Consulting in advance was detailed and competent.
The reception of the guests is very welcome – you realize that every guest is welcome.
Dinner (buffet) was tasty and very rich, the operation very friendly and attentive — say: we have us there very well felt.
The price / performance ratio was top. Once again many thanks to the entire team.
All in all: to recommend!

Hello, we were on the 05th 06th 2016 with a group dinner there.
My conclusion a smooth 6, 0 star, my fries were not, "Asparagus soup" was warm and prepared from powder no asparagus pieces but for salmon in it, which was not listed on the map,. The operation was then also still naughty and rude.
The "chips" were an indefinable mass that has been swimming in grease. A bowl, was the "small salad" for 4, €30
each side salad there at other restaurants is bigger and better. So: "Grande Katastroph"

I was just to the funeral of my grandfather in the restaurant of the hotel.
I'm here to leave a positive review, but I can forgive them only for the Nice waitress. The food (€ 15 per person) was incredibly bad! Sandwiches, where we were not sure whether the buns yesterday were. The "pie plate" included all two varieties 'Selection'. On demand, today unfortunately only 2 pieces were present from the poppy-seed cake. Everyone got a soup, no demand whether any lookup is desired. This today really was a mourning meal for over €400!

I am not impressed by the hotel, the room is much smaller than described on the images and the food in the restaurant is lean and the price justified. For €15 you expect outgoing. A main dish from which one is enough and no portion of hunger. Half was also out of the already low menu… For me not a 3 star hotel.

My events in the house Waldmühle were always a success. Boss and staff are very well positioned. Compliment Greetings from Bavaria Peter Grabinger.

The Hotel was unfortunately not so nice as in the photo of the prospectus. Colours & facade did not match. The outdoor area was 90% clean, here and there, it could be time to lend a Hand. For example, The beautiful water wheel from the prospectus, which we, unfortunately, broken and old have found. The Parking spaces are directly in front of the Wall and was full. :-/ So was the first, superficial impression, not so great. The animal-"corner" is a great idea, but also a little unkempt. At the reception arrived, no one was there. After we have a bell found and four times had rung, came a lady. You rattled off your Text down and disappeared again. In the room arrived, we were pleased with the cleanliness and the relatively modern design. The view of the courtyard was not very nice. A big minus point are the beds: We had a double room but unfortunately the collapsed twin beds always apart again slipped: Cuddle impossible : — (The mattresses are very soft. The food in the Restaurant is nothing we can say, because we outside have eaten. As I put the key on the day of departure review wanted to I met no one, except an older gentlemen (think the Lord of the house), me with quite brusque voice the key declined: "you can give me". How am I supposed to know who he is? Conclusion: staff and ambience could have been all a little kinder.

The Hotel is idyllically situated between Zella-Mehlis and Oberhof — here we are for a night had come and were very positively surprised. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. There is even a small Spa area with a Sauna. The staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. In the evening we have visited the Restaurant, also here, the friendly Service continued. The food was very tasty, especially the Maronenschaumsuppe and the crispy goose breast were a stunner. We will definitely be back and can this house highly recommend to everyone.

Management is completely unapologetic for criticism. A solution-oriented approach is not to be recognized. This is already used in other means of expression and can be confirmed. Hotel entrance area smells unpleasant. Booking requests are not been seriously edited. Hotel in very nice location, Spa area outside and very nicely landscaped. The gastronomic variety and quality, no statement can be made.

Food I can't recommend. Ready-made sauces, TK-vegetables. I have made the kitchen a vegetarian dish ordered, what I also from the Service as a vegetarian has been confirmed. The court had, however, when Serving bacon already in it. As I'm friendly with the staff noted, I was as "stupid". Then got another eat what is served, did not look like the first plate. The Appetizer was warmed up and cold. The friendly note that while it tasted good, but cold had been came the response from the service staff: "Would you stop times faster need to eat". The Hotel may well be good, but for food I would recommend somewhere else to go. Absolutely wrong.

A good Service the food is also excellent, however, were the side dishes (fried potatoes) a bit too greasy for my taste priced, it is acceptable a great ambiance it can sit well the interior and exterior is in a Landhäuslichen style, highly recommendable value.
