Ringberg Hotel

The staff is very unfriendly and they are totally overburdened by large groups. We had to give our meal order a week in advance and still we had to wait almost 40 minutes after the planned time for our food! The staff didnt apologize in any way and in fact was very rude about all of it. The food portions were really small for the price. The rooms are quite small, the Wi-Fi had very bad reception. No sockets at the bedside. I will definitly not recommend this hotel if I am asked about it.

Really amazing staff and great place. Rooms need ACs though and even the Panorama Suite heats up too much! Would be amazing to see those installed!

Stayed as a couple from 27/09 to 30/09 at the hotel. The entire staff very friendly and helpful and in the lobby the waiter was quick to mix cocktails and had time for a short chat. There was half board with breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. The food especially in the evening was very plentiful and very tasty. The rooms are very nice. We had a superior room with balcony and it was big clean and we felt very comfortable. All in all a great hotel and the best we have had so far.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff.

Solid, clean hotel. We seen all type of rooms — and used the Panaroma Suite ourselves. Interior, bed, space, and service, I perceived for arrangement, decent. Our package included access to the Sauna, Bathrobe, free premium parking, dinner and breakfast (optionally the room).
Breakfast was not the most exciting one and items seemed rather supermarket than what I would expect from a 4star place. — room for improvement. Nevertheless, all present to complete (intercontinental).
Dinner — due to covid only the 4 courses menu or dinner buffet had been available. Waiter are friendly but lacked a bit attention-level due to high work volume. Food was ok.
There are bunches of activities available for children (kindergarten, playground, swimming pool, ping pong table etc. ).
Sauna — during covid — allows 6 people in the Finish sauna at the same time. Timeslot of 2 hours, to access the Spa area can be requested a day ahead.
The room and bed:
The Panaroma Suite has a long window, granting a lot of light and nice view over the parking lot and forrest.
The entire room seems newly equipped. A huge bathroom with a bath tub and rain shower — handicapped accessible.
Bed unfortunately is 180x200 cm with a center gap. Mattress was comfy. Flat TV which also allows the HDMI access (bring your ipad adaptor for netflix), free Wi-Fi which was decently fast, while the hotel was quite full.
Small desk and three chairs to sit-down and relax after a day of hiking.

Friendly, over-stated, busy staff. Corona-related processes worked smoothly. Unfortunately, no unrestricted visits to the swimming pool are possible due to pandemics. Beautiful view from the Ringberg. Various hiking possibilities.

Rooms are very nice very large bathroom with shower for my daughter with the wheelchair it was also very nice to eat has tasted for everyone something with it. Kindness from the staff very good. Unfortunately, the time was too short to test the swimming pool and the sauna. Staff put a lot of effort into it. Despite corona everything went very well. Very nice surroundings.

Family atmosphere, friendly staff.

The holiday was super. Unfortunately, I must complain about something, and it's the swimming pool water is still too cold. Please try to change that. I am also disappointed with the Parking fees very. In a Hotel you must pay Park fees and, especially for 6 euros the night. This was not so. Despite all of this, I would always come again and the Hotel also recommend.

Just left hotel after 5 night stay for an organised sporting event.
Before we arrived I was apprehensive over some of the reviews, however we were very pleasantly surprised.
Rooms — clean, practical and did the job. Yes from previous reviews about pillows etc. It’s a hotel in Europe and typical of the pillows you get.
Staff — English very widely spoken, all the staff friendly and helpful even to the point of finding another staff member with better English if the first one was not able to help.
Facilities — Those in the part who used the pool said it was great, we didn’t have time to book massage and other treats.
Food — Buffet style good quality and plenty of it. We had breakfast and evening meal in the hotel.
Bar — Previous reviews said about not enough staff, we found yes you may have to wait as hotel very full but no more than a few minutes. Enjoy and embrace Germany. A drink is meant to be a social event. All the bar staff were fantastically friendly and helpful.
Views — Some lovely views from your room and the bar terraces. Sun rises and sun set, rolling clouds.
Overall — Would I stay here again YES.
As per most trips if self funding price v quality over where you would go. Yes it would be on my list of places to stay.
