Great hotel, definitely worth every euro🥰

Excellent restaurant in a beautifully restored 17th century building with very accommodating service. A quietly located guest house with beautifully furnished rooms and high comfort. The extensive breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and gives the guest a perfect start to the day.

We spent a long weekend here and would book again immediately: Very nice buildings, the staff top, really delicious food, a beautiful garden with many seating, cozy beer garden and nice rooms in a play street away from city traffic, but only about 15 minutes leisurely walk to the center of Suhl — recommended!

Because of the neighborhood, the windows had to be closed from 22:00 and the music at room volume. We had a party with 30 guests and closing windows it was inappropriate.

Very tasty food and nice service. We even got delicious food even though it was already closed. Super dumplings, delicious dumplings. We had wild boar and roulades. Highly recommended. Prices are completely ok.

Beautiful rustical hotel. Feels old and modern. The rooms are big an cozy with free minibar. Yes free. Outside of the rooms are freezers with beer, mineral water, and some sort of Cocacola, Fanta and Sprite. All free. The Wi-Fi is good (depends in which part of the hotel you are staying). And in the morning there is nice self-service breakfast. In the hotel you have a restaurant that is mainly serving game which I hear is very good. But don't worry they serve stakes and chicken to. Overall all my stays here were very nice.

The ambiance in this 400 year old house always thrills me as well as the very good kitchen at reasonable prices. The rooms are rather 3 stars, in the Annexe building rather better, the breakfast is also in the 3 star area. But an evening in the cozy restaurant there is always nice and he service too.

The food was incredibly tasty and most of all plentiful! The service was also very friendly! Would visit the restaurant again at any time and recommend it to anyone!

The holiday only opened the breakfast room, which was not so bad though. The room looks very classy. They menu was reduced somewhat. Nevertheless, the food was pleasant. Beef roll, red cabbage and dumplings. All very tasty. May have become a little colder. Gravy had a bit of skin on arrival. Still very tasty. For such traditional cuisine really a tip.

The Web site notes Free Parking and Free Internet. That is not the case. It is billed as a "Service" and they charge you 4, 50 Euro for it. Breakfast is not included as Free, it is also charged as 4, 80 Euro. As with any other wellness location, a fee of 2, 00 Euro for "wellness" or Kurbeitrag tax is charged as well.

Had only been looking for a stage overnight and came across a bijou. A very nice house with friendly service from the reception to the service in the beer garden and in the breakfast room. Here you should stay longer!

If you put a great value on volume it is ok. The rich breakfast is positive. Rooms are very nice. Maximum of 2 days is sufficient.

The rooms at the guest house was great! And modern décor. There is nothing to complain about. At Breakfast and at dinner was just too little Service staff. The ladies and gentlemen from the Service were nice, knowledgeable, have their Best. But at full loading, such as between the years, they were simply understaffed, and they weren't behind ran. At Breakfast it was already time about 20 minutes before the Buffet after was placed, or to fresh bread to have been baked. Because saves the Management in the wrong place!

We travel for years regularly to Suhl and believe now is finally the right Hotel for us (family with two children) to have found. The accommodation in the guest house was very good; clean, spacious, and modern. Also the staff deserves praise. Only it was in the Restaurant, unfortunately, stuffy and much too warm, and the service was during our visit uberfordert. But: the waiter has asked for help and already ran it better. The Breakfast was good, however, it would be recommended day-to-day a little Variation in the Breakfast menu to install, especially on weekends.

Located in a quite part of the city. Room was quite large, well furnished and very clean. The value for the money was very good. Would stay here again.
