Spontaneously with the family (2 adults, 2 small children) there in the evening to eat the bread. You were sent away no more place although there is still free places. It's really a shame. Are very often, and very happy to have been there. Today was definitely the last time!

Very good food. The hats are delicious. Friendly service and very nice ambience. Happy to return.

Idyllically located by the lake — with a view from the terrace to Bertholdsburg.
The menu offers the right dishes for every palate at moderate prices. The quality of the dumplings and the wild roast (wild boar and roast deer) is very praiseworthy. The cake baked in the house could become the icing on the cake if you weren't already saturated.!?

Beautiful ambience, delicious food and very accommodating staff. The "pure romance" weekend was second to none in price/performance.

Very nice hotel with top restaurant by the lake … the price of the overnight stay is absolutely ok … chic rooms and breakfast at 5 * * * * * level.

Wlan connection partially breaks away, breakfast is lower standard. On the whole, it's okay. When booking, there was a guy on the phone, which I think didn't really matter if guests were booking or not.

The house by the Lake is a super located location well hidden in Schleusingen. The ice cream and the café are a bit more expensive but good.
The house itself has a nice ambiance.
Outside you can sit by the lake.
As a hotel I can not rate it.
As a restaurant I would not recommend it. A menu with umpteen dishes but almost nothing under 14 euros. If the quality fits, that's OK, but my schnitzel wasn't.
The breading picked up, the meat was quite tough.
Children's portions are not available, was rejected on request. This suggests that every dish could be prepared somehow. A chef could not manage the ala carte for 30 guests.
The food is too expensive.
Water in large bottles is warm on the table in the cooler. Reason: Only small bottles are cooled.
This is about the best profit San Pellegrino stays warm.

Das Hotel ist in Ordnung. Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Blick auf den See wirklich schön. Die ruhige Lage ermöglicht es, mit offenem Fenster zu schlafen. Allerdings ist die Speisekarte viel zu voll. Selbst die Hälfte an Angeboten wäre mehr als ausreichend. Auch die Ausstattung im Essraum ist einfach "too much" und verfolgt keinen eigenen Stil. Die Betten sind für meinen Geschmack viel zu weich. Der Internetzugang könnte etwas schneller sein…

I visit the restaurant regularly at long intervals, which is why I express a criticism here at all. That something goes wrong in the kitchen can be blurred by charging only 5 euros for a dish. But if I ask for an absolute standard dish 14 euros, I can expect top quality as a guest.
It is bottomless not to face the justified criticism of a guest as a boss and to hide behind his employees. Only the competence of the staff in the service ensures that your guests do not leave the restaurant without escape.
Verdict: Meat trany, dumplings inside cold, gravy lumpy tied off. Such a meal belongs to the cook thrown afterwards.

The Best house far and wide.

Very nice and quiet area. Several places of interest and Hiking trails are within a radius of 15km easy to reach. Rooms are tastefully decorated and clean. Clock radio actually works and not even the unfriendly nature of the bosses, I can confirm. This is the other staff really makes an effort. People who like quiet should ask whether maybe family disco queue. Or the price premium for a room to the lake to save.
