Liked: Peace and quiet, that’s what we got.
The site is a beautiful gem in the hills bordering a huge forrest.
The facilities are a bit sober but more than sufficient.
The owner serves honest food for an honest price if you want.
There’s freshly baked bread to get in the morning if you wish, there’s an opportunity to swim… villages at 10 minutes driving for shopping, restaurants etc.
Aldo, there’s all kinds of historic sights and places to visit.
You can hike, bike, drive through nature…
Well, you get the point.
In my opinion it’s not a camping for young adults or for people with adolescent kids. It’s perfect though if you need peace and quiet and to come to yourself.
The owner is a fair, honest and direct gentleman.
I recommend this camping.
Ps all pics are taken within fives minutes of walking from our caravan.
Liked: Quiet peaceful site with a bar. Lovely countryside for hiking or biking (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Nice stay for peace & quiet & Coburg (30 mins drive) is lovely. It was a stop off for us on route elsewhere.
Disliked: Site manager a bit stern, but perhaps that’s a cultural thing.

Liked: Nice and peaceful, not too busy. There’s a shopping centre about an 8-minute drive away if you need anything. The campsite is easy to find, and there is food and drink available on site. There aren’t many choices, but what’s available is quite good. Overall, a very nice place to camp.
