Good accommodation and food. Had been there several times, always happy to come back.

Just great. Very good food.

Have seen the monastery only from the outside, but find it imposing and well laid out. Especially the park invites you to linger.

Very centrally located in Germany, the monastery offers a very good meeting possibility, spacious guest rooms, a very good, simple kitchen and a lot of peace. Wi-Fi is available.
The only shortcoming: There is no taxi in Hünfeld itself. The approx. 15-minute footpath from the station becomes an ordeal in the rain. Unfortunately, the monastery itself does not have a (chargeable) driving service. Therefore only 4 out of 5 stars of me as a train driver.

We were warmly welcomed and plentifully supplied with delicious food. Wi-Fi, LAN, telephone and partly TV available.

I like to stay here again and again when I work in Hünfeld. It has the Charm of a Youth Hostel in terms of rooms (I'm in Singles — and double Rooms), but honestly I need all the Things of the Hotels like Pool, Sauna etc. Neither. Instead, I enjoy the Peace there. In the morning and Evening I go to the Pavilion To do Tai Chi and sometimes I sat down in the quiet Church (to enter directly from the Monastery). In the Basement there is an (unmanaged) Bar where you can sit very nice – alone or to several. Drinks and Nibbles are available in a nice Selection.
Some Hotels also have a larger Breakfast Buffet, but in the Monastery it is at least fresh and good Quality. Eggs are available, for example. Only Wed, Fri and Sun, but then they also have Quality and do not come from a Battery. The Bread is baked by Brother Peter.

Simple but very clean room, quiet, beautiful surroundings, bathroom very small but ok, plentiful breakfast.

Very good overnight stay and very good breakfast, very friendly staff, you can only recommend. Will stay there again.

It is a class accommodation centre and a good cheap overnight accommodation.
The food is really very tasty
and the monastery is child-friendly.

Best human atmosphere ever with good environment. Those who seek peace and good conversation can appeal to the fathers. Besides, there is also a nice park and good food.

Quiet monastery. The rooms are very clean. It's worth it if you want to get down a little bit in the stressful everyday life…

“Something Different” This is a Catholic Monastery that I found it at the last minute on my cell phone while visiting my son in Hunfeld, Germany. The place was easy to find since it is a large Church / Monastery in the middle of the old part of the city. The price for the room was reasonable since it was just for my wife and I. I think I payed about 80.00 Euros but I don't really remember. The room was small with two single beds separated by a table and the bathroom as also small about the size of a big closet with a shower but it served it's purpose. The room numbers are all named after a Holy person and on the inside of the door is more information about that person. Down the hallway are reading rooms with a library of a few books (mostly in German) and a TV. In the morning we had a typical European Continental breakfast in the cafeteria and there was a large selection of different breads, cheese, meat, jelly, cereal and juices to choose from. Would we stay again, Yes.
