Holiday Inn Express - Fulda by IHG

Good Hotel.
Modern, rooms we had was ok.
Sometimes cleaning rooms where missed, but overall all ok.
Breakfast is ok.
The location is not far from Center, the Hotel is located in front heavy traffic roads but the rooms are sound isolated.
Some improvement.
A paper block and a pen would be appreciated.
There is no small fridge in the room.

First off, this hotel allows dogs with you into the breakfast, which was amazing and one of a kind on our trip. Huge plus for this!
Overall very friendly staff, was great with the baby and dog. Breakfast was nice and had a wide selection, althought not many salty food options.
Lovely place, would recommend and would come again!

We had a friendly welcome from the staff in the Reception. She gave us good tips of restaurants in the city centre, which literally is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. A locked parking garage was an extra plus. Very nice furnished and clean room. The breakfast buffet is OK and what you can expect.

Fantastic stay! Understated luxury. Hotel was new, staff were friendly, rooms were perfect, soundproofing was good. Beds were a dream. Had a really good night’s rest, then a simple but good breakfast the next morning. Right next to Fulda’s Altstadt. We had just checked out of a tired Hilton hotel room the previous night where we had poor rest due to old sagging mattresses. IHG FULDA was a completely welcome relief. Will definitely be back if we ever need to make a stop again. Holiday inn will definitely be my first go-to hotel for my next holidays!

The room and air conditioning was in itself very good and we had no complaints about the room.
However the breakfast was very small, crowded and for people with allergies there was barely anything to eat besides dry bread and overboiled eggs.
The reception staff was friendly and spoke good English but it took quite a long time to checkin which was not very nice when we arrived late.
Checkout was however very convenient as they offered an express alternative.
Note that the hotel does not offer a restaurant so you cannot get any other meals than breakfast but the location is great and is only a 10 minute walk from restaurant close by.

I have been to Fulda five times for business and by far the best hotel is the Holiday Inn Express. Each stay was the same high quality experience, the staff are really helpful, the rooms are modern and thoroughly cleaned. The under ground parking is easy, with large spaces, very secure, direct lift access to hotel reception and paid for via one ticket to your room account. The breakfast is lacking hot food, but it is an express hotel, and the staff encourage you to grab a take-away bag for your on-ward journey. The rooms are quiet and spacious, I will always book here when possible.

Rooms are extremely clean. Beds are big and cosy for a good night sleep. There is a coffee and tea inside room. Breakfast was well loaded (I recommend pancakes). Staff is absolutely professional and nice. Receptionist was very useful and kind. There is underground garage and if there is no space, it is availabel across the street for 3, 5 EUR/24hrs. I strongly recommend this hotel.

In all respects a typical Holiday Inn Express:
— Good, but not perfect location.
From the train station, the hotel is very well reached by public transport. A bus stop is less than a 5-minute walk away. For guests with cars, there is an underground garage at affordable prices. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the old town. To a supermarket it is a good 5 minutes.
— Equipped with everything you need.
The rooms are Holiday Inn Express typical small, but well equipped. Our room was clean, we had nothing to complain about. Next to the reception there is a bar and the breakfast room.
— Good breakfast.
The included breakfast was good. Even a bit better than in most Holiday Inn Express. Both in terms of selection, but also the atmosphere and friendly staff. Even the tables are cleared quickly and friendly. Not even some luxury hotels can manage that nowadays.
— Friendly staff.
The staff is consistently friendly and competent. This is not always a matter of course.
Definitely a recommendation.

This is a nice hotel in a good location close to the centre of town. Nice size rooms, very clean and tidy, may be a bit short on non hanging storage. Nice bathroom and a sensible breakfast. Would recommend as a new alternative to the traditional Fulda hotels.

Not only a new hotel but the attention to keeping it this way is evident. Staff are very friendly and helpful especially to a non German speaking visitor. The location is perfect and within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. I plan to return several times in the next 6mths. I would Highly recommend this hotel.

Brand new Holiday Inn, located just inside the ring road. Bed was good, bathroom was excellent and room was large by German standards. The included daily breakfast was varied and generous. Only downside was the inadequate storage space — no drawers and tiny narrow shelves. Had to live out of our case for four nights. Would still recommend.

Great place and location. Super easy to get to and there is a parking garage under the hotel or also right across the street. Rooms are very clean and the prices are very fair. Breakfast is great with a wide selection of drinks, bread, pancakes, cheeses, eggs, ham and much more. Easy checkout as well so everything went super smooth both on the way to and from our ski holiday.
