Very clean accommodation close to the centre of the small town at a reasonable price. The motion activated lights in the hallways were very helpful. The owners were friendly and spoke some English which was a big help. My room had a lovely reading area and patio door to a deck. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t warm enough to use it.
A few things to consider: * If you don’t book through an app you have to pay for your room in cash. There is no credit card machine. * There were no face cloths or soap in the shower and I wish I’d taken a bar of soap with me * The pillows on the bed and the mattress were VERY soft and did a bit of a number on my neck so if you need a proper pillow you might like to take one with you * There was no top sheet on the bed and only one single sized duvet on the double bed * The couple who had stayed in the room before me had a couple of small dogs. I love dogs and have no allergies but if you do it would be a good idea to notify the owners before your stay. *The communal kitchen was very clean but there are no condiments or tea/coffee available. There is a supermarket within walking distance * laundry is available for €5 *There is beer in the kitchen cupboard which can be purchased for €4 which is convenient but the beer at the grocery store is a little over €1, so quite the % mark up.

Excellent time at 810.! No surprises here to be honest as have been coming here on and off for many years. Lovely kitchen, clean rooms, lovely washrooms and excellent facilities. Much better value than the Treff Hotel 🏨 in the same town. Also great location and free parking! Love to your family and thank you for everything. 🥰 My kids said your home is the best in Oberhof. Delightful experience, thank you… 😇🙏👌🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 — 6 stars… 🤗 Oh and an awesome ski jump now behind your residence.! Awesome 😎
