B&B HOTEL Gotha-Hbf

The hotel will point out that renovations are underway. This had obviously already happened in our room (silicone residue in the sink). The furnishings differ somewhat from the usual B&B. And there are finally more sockets.
The reason I gave the room a 1-star rating was that there was no hot water. Even leaving it running for ages didn't bring the temperature anywhere near lukewarm. This meant that I didn't have to shower in the morning. And that doesn't work at all. Too bad.
Small flaw on the edge, of the 4 window panes only 3 were clean.

For a short stay it is good, the rooms are well equipped. The hotel is currently being renovated, but this didn't bother us so much. It is located on the street and near the train station, which didn't bother us much. I really like the locking system with a pin. There's nothing to complain about at breakfast, there's something for every taste, and you can't complain about the bar prices either. The employees are also very, very nice and helpful.

No air conditioning impossible in summer. Breakfast a bit sparse for 12.90. But the rooms were good. The staff helpful and friendly.

The hotel is currently being renovated. The new rooms are completely fine and are completely sufficient for overnight stays. You have free TV and Wi-Fi. The employees I met were all polite and friendly. The location is great, you have the train station practically on your doorstep. I have 2 small complaints.
1. I thought €103 for a small double bed room was a bit high but I think that has something to do with the renovation.
2. We arrived by train as cyclists to take a nice tour in the Thuringian Forest. Unfortunately, the hotel did not have the option of locking the bike in a place that is not publicly accessible. You are forced to lock your bike at a simple bike rack at the hotel, but unfortunately God and the world come by. I was lucky and it wasn't stolen but it could easily have happened to another cyclist.
I didn't take breakfast and can't say anything about it.
Otherwise everything was fine so far.

Stayed one night. I really liked the hotel. Free parking, seated quickly. The room is big enough and clean. The beds are comfortable.

My partner and I stayed at the b&b hotel in Gotha at the train station for a birthday party.
As other comments have mentioned, the hotel is a bit old, but that's not a big deal. Check out is pleasant until 12 p. M. And the location is also great!
However, we were quite disappointed with the breakfast. We always find out a little about the breakfast beforehand so that we know how big the offer is — here we used the pictures on Google as a guide.
The actual breakfast offering was a bit poor, less than shown in the pictures. I can understand that with a slightly smaller number of hotel guests, you don't make such a big splash. However, I think it would be appropriate for the service to ask whether you would like scrambled or fried eggs or something similar, and then prepare it upon request.
In my opinion, you could eat better somewhere else for a little less money.
