Four Points Flex by Sheraton Göttingen

We stayed here on our drive back from a holiday in Italy, where we desperately needed a hotel at 3 AM in the morning.
I had found the hotel previously, but was unable to book it online that late at night, so I called the hotel and was told to come since there were rooms available.
Our family was greeted by a very friendly and welcoming night receptionist (I believe Majid was his name) who did his utmost to help us out with an extra bed, even though housekeeping naturally was not present this late. He really did not have to do this, but he did!
We feared we would be met which a ridiculously high price arriving so late without a booking, but price seemed to be normal and quite fair.
Room was not the biggest, but was nice and clean.
Breakfast was very good.

No fridge, kettle, complimentary tea or coffee. Not even bottle of water.
Trying to be too sustainable by reducing number of towels and I had to went down and asked for towels 💩
There is no A/C and My room faces somewhat busy street so can’t leave the window open.
No parking ❌

A very good hotel. The rooms are quiet and very clean, the location is really good (walking distance to city center and station), reception staff is very efficient, the food is good. The parking is free. I will be happy to stay in this hotel again in future.

Location very close to ICE train station. Breakfast was fine. Staff friendly. A few things like the lifts show the age of the hotel, but my room was refurbished and good. Only odd thing was that the shower cabinet door was mounted so that on slim people can easily get in and out.

Room was OK, but stains on the wall, carpet and curtains. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom nice! Main issue was the noise. There's a place for events just adjacent to the hotel which, unluckily for us, hosted a darts competition on the night of our stay. It was very loud, the staff insisted the hotel was fully booked so couldn't find another room for us. Even worse though was the noise in the hotel, banging in the room above and a phone call in a room close-by felt like it was in the room with us which made us have a poor night's sleep. Overall ok, in our opinion not a 4-star experience.

Clean, functional rooms, standard breakfast buffet (extra payment). Optimal location if you travel by train, directly at the station. Historic city center and parts of the university at a walking distance. Also no noise from railway and roads. Easy to reach by car as well, but no free parking.
Service: to put it positively, friendly staff tries to compensate for mediocre organisation, but the latter might be due to the most busy time of the year.

Yes, the location is fantastic, close to the CBD and train station, and the staff is very friendly—but the room? An absolute disaster. The carpet and couch were covered in stains, the pillows had an unpleasant smell from previous guests, and one of the bed legs was literally propped up on a stack of wooden boards (not to mention an old cotton ball from previous guests under the bed). That alone says everything about the room’s condition. Even the cleaning staff was embarrassed when I asked for a fresh pillow and they admitted the pillows were terrible.
The staff tried their best, but with rooms this rundown and dirty, there’s not much they can do to make up for it. Unless this place gets the major renovations it desperately needs, I would only recommend it to those who want a central location and don’t mind overlooking everything else.

Very good location, walking distance from the train station. We found free parking on Scheutzenanger st and Hidebrandstrasse, both barely 10 min walk from the hotel. Sraff was very friendly and helpful. The city center is also 10 min walk from the hotel. Room was clean, comfortable.

Perfectly fine place to stay. The room was spotless, they have a lot of great things at their breakfast bar, and the location is a 3 minute walk from the train station. The city center is a 14 minute walk away.

It's not a 4 star hotel. The rooms are quite simple, and needs to be renovated. The breakfast is ok, but nothing special.

This hotel is fantastic and the customer service is LOVELY. Everybody at the front desk was very helpful, as were the cleaning staff, the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nice to look at, clean, and organized. The kitchen staff are SO nice (Maria is super helpful and nice to talk to) and if you need to, you can keep things in the fridge behind the bar. The location is really great: close to the train station but still in a pretty, green area. The windows are good for airing out and the curtains block out almost all light even into the day! They have good tap water and an even better water dispenser in the lobby. The bedding is very comfortable. The Wi-Fi is strong and free.
A special commendation goes to André — he was incredibly helpful and forthcoming, gave us tips on navigating the city and the German systems. Definitely a good experience! Would recommend to a friend.

Great service and polite and sweet staff. Their beds were really comfortable!
Tasty breakfast buffet, their jam options and their breads were also amazing. Very tasty scrambled eggs and the variety of cheese and freshly prepared mozzarella.

Overall the hotel was good. The breakfast was expensive but fresh and tasty. The bathroom and room was very clean and modern styled. The bathroom deserved a definite 5 star. Cool drinks were provided in the room fridge alongside other small and convenient things. The parking could have been free of charge and it would have been better if a kettle or coffee machine was provided in the bedroom. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Altogether we had a great experience and we would definitely stay in this hotel again if we came to Gottingen.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at GHOTEL hotel & living in Göttingen and was pleased with the experience.
Upon arriving, I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who made me feel welcome right away. My room was spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Stayed on the top floor, view of the parking deck across the street. Paid parking behind the hotel.
The hotel is located in a convenient location, close to the old town, which made it easy for me to explore the city. The old town was charming and historic, with a variety of shops and restaurants to explore. The Christmas market was also a highlight, with festive stalls and a warm and cozy atmosphere.
