Great hotel, clean, Swedish breakfast, great service, I advise everyone!

Unfortunately, I have to agree to the bad gone reviews. We stayed there 2 nights because of a training session. That was enough, too!
The staff are totally overwhelmed. We had to request buns, there were only 2 left. The cheese plate was the same as I had left it the next day. So nothing replenished and only the last cheese before the day was on it (2 slices cut cheese and a small round cheese of 1 cm in the knife).
We had to pass dirty clothes and full cleaning eggs to get to the breakfast room.
Our sofa in the room was spotty, so we bought a blanket to sit on it. The cupboards smelled strange, so we preferred to leave the things in the suitcase.
Somehow, no matter what we touch, it was unkempt … I express myself very friendly …
It could be a nice hotel, even if it's old but … You'd have to do something and be at work with heart as well.

I was in this hotel for a training which went on for about 14 days.
I was fortunate to be able to drive home, but other participants had to sleep here and were not satisfied.
I only know the meeting room, in the time was never wiped here and not even changed the tablecloth. So nothing done. In the room stands a pillar just in front of the canvas. The interior courtyard is not very well maintained.
The staff is totally unfriendly and incapable. It's filthy everywhere, as if it's never been cleaned here. The food is totally salty and does not taste. There were no table tops changed in the time, even the plates were partly dirty.
The coffee was always the same.
After multiple complaints/talks, the staff became even more unfriendly.
Totally inappropriate for further training.
If you could allocate 0 points I would have given only 0 points.

Service is mega rude, rooms have not been cleaned and the mattresses are so well located that you can shoot the feathers through your back. Drinks are charged during the meal. Was definitely the first and last visit.

For overnight stays it is enough, unfortunately the W-Lan was not so good in the room, I actually had only in a small corner (if I was lucky) reception!
Otherwise clean and well suited for sleeping!

All good. The next visit is planned.

The room was large and a time capsule from the founding time. There was a color TV! and a phone. But also WLAN.

Category "Quick away here, goes so for one night" room creepy and breakfast very sad. There was radio in the morning at breakfast, so you don't feel alone. It's a pity!

Nice rooms, friendly reception. To work we were allowed to sit at a breakfast table, which was cleared for us for free.

More need for renovation.

I lived in this hotel for 3 month from June till August 2014. The staff is kind. The furniture was kind of 80th style and mixed styles. Some room looked not nice. The street is very loud in early morning, because the hotel is in industrial area. There is a bus station next to the hotel, Kaufland supermarket is near. For holiday I cannot recommend this hotel. But if you are on business trip and you are just searching for a bed it is ok! There are for sure better hotels in Göttingen!

One star is still too much for this hotel, overall this hotel is the worst nightmare of my life. I've been to 31 countries around the world and stayed more than 100 hotels, including some undeveloped areas of South America, never ever experienced a rude hotel owner like this. First of all, during my stay, the cleaning staff found a burning spot on the carpet of my room which existed even before I moved in. The hotel owner ACCUSED me for making the burn simply because he claimed he never saw that in his life. Dude what in the world is the logic behind this freaking impolite manner?! I would much appreciate you raise a discussion with me rather than finger pointing at my nose without any evidence. Secondly the room is super unclean. I've seen dead mosquito, spider, and flies in my room for more than once. At the end of my stay I started to grow rashes and itchy red spots all over my body. I mentioned my condition to the hotel owner and sincerely request for a bug spay for my room. Surprisingly the owner insisted that is my personal problem because I leave the window open at night and he will not do anything about this. At the end of the conversation he literally yelled at me "the best way is you out of this hotel! "… WTF this is priceless. Am I staying in a prison? not allowed to open window during a warm night w/o ac installed in room? Well I actually followed this ridiculous instruction because I wanted my rashes gone.

Everything is just OK, 21:00, was no longer alone. Partly, my room neighbours kept me until 00:00 hours awake. (Shouting and pitching). Very clean room.
