At the same time, there are complaints regarding the owner's rudeness when resolving issues with bed types or when requesting an invoice. The reception is located on the ground floor, although some guests noted a lack of staff at certain times or difficulties accessing the hotel via the key safe during late arrivals.

The hotel breakfasts have received many positive reviews for their variety, freshness, and high quality. Guests praise the homemade spreads, eggs, selection of rolls, fruit salads, and yogurts. Breakfast is served in a cozy area with a beautiful view of the Monument to the Battle of the Nations. However, one guest noted that the vegetables (tomatoes and cucumbers) are sometimes not perfectly fresh, and the cost of breakfast for two was 56 euros.

The rooms are designed in a nostalgic, antique style with an abundance of wood, creating an atmosphere of a museum or a journey back in time. Many find the interiors stylish and cozy, but some guests find them untidy, noting dust, cobwebs under the toilet, and a leaking bathroom fixture. The beds are a point of contention: some find them comfortable, while others complain of excessive firmness, creaky wooden frames, and poor pillow quality. There are also mentions of instances where two single mattresses pushed together were provided instead of one large bed.

Most guests rate the cleanliness of the rooms as very good. However, there are contradictory reviews: one visitor found dirt, cobwebs on the ceiling and under the wall-mounted toilet, as well as toothpaste residue under the sink. The soundproofing in the hotel is weak. Guests note that the corridors are very audible, and it is possible to make out details of conversations or noises from other visitors. Additionally, there are mentions of noise from the railway outside the window (though some do not notice it) and noise from the Greek restaurant located in the same building.

Pets are permitted at the hotel; however, a surcharge of 10 euros per night is charged for each dog. There are strict restrictions: dogs are prohibited from entering the breakfast room, which means owners must have breakfast in the corridor. Some guests considered this policy to be unfriendly.
