The view from the 20-storey is breathtaking. The bathroom with the rainforest shower is highly recommended!

No repayment and no rebooking possible, despite the initial restriction.
We have been to the hotel a few times now, mostly when concerts were in Leipzig but what they are now withdrawing with our almost 600€ is just outrageous and brazen.

Very stylish furnishings, The Hotel exudes a lot of warmth, very nice staff. You will feel comfortable.

Super Hotel great staff are very friendly and the staff immediately who is responding something is unclear or sent happens to cosy rooms, great Breakfast.

The room was super and the staff friendly. However, we had some problems. First, we were given an already occupied room. Well that was then regulated to the satisfaction. We had paid for our room in advance and it was deducted twice. To clarify, it was in spite of repeated queries and emails. It is a real shame, we had to repeat the idea of a stay. The Breakfast was really super.

Very well-equipped rooms, a fantastic view over Leipzig, a Breakfast buffet, the leaves nothing to be desired, the sustainability of just at Breakfast (cloth napkins, little bun!, lovingly cut-up vegetables, etc. ) but, above all, a very friendly, helpful and competent staff, without which all this would not be possible… we feel … well!

This hotel stands head and shoulders above other hotels in Germany. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. The building itself is beautiful, although the location of the different elevators for rooms and meeting areas is very confusing. The location is excellent! Just steps away from the main train station and Leipzig Market area. My only complaint is that for a singing organization gathering, water should be freely available. Instead, 0.2 liter bottles were offered for 3.50 Euros each! The same bottles were the only water available with meals, and incurred an ADDITIONAL cost to the meal price. NOT a good practice!

Cleanliness good and design of the rooms beautiful! Unfortunately no more minibars. One water bottle only for a whopping 4, 50€! Breakfast buffet rich, staff very friendly. However, parking fees of pure usury! Parking garages in the immediate vicinity much cheaper!

Bar is good, good views, rooms are quiet, showers sub-par, water has a low temp cap, pillow (singular) was paper thin. Overall average.

The hotel and accommodations are incredibly nice and comfortable but staff are another story. Housekeeping forgot to clean the room, and when asked to come, said it was too late. It seemed the hotel had a lot of new staff who did not know how to do basic things (ie. Pay for your room before end of your stay). Other than that, location is also great.

Very well located Hotel for a visit to the city, whose center is easily reachable on foot. The exterior of the building is a bit outdated (former GDR period building), but the interior has been renovated and is comfortable and elegant. The rooms are spacious, equipped with panoramic windows on the city; The restaurants inside have a more than satisfactory choice of dishes. All in all a good hotel for business stays or even for sightseeing.

Great facilities… Nice pool, sauna and fitness room. Nice rooms. Breakfast. A Stone's throw from the center.

Have to say one of the crappier Westins I’ve stayed in. Looks like it’s time for a remodel.

War beruflich dort, was abholen. Es dauerte erstmal 15 Minuten bis jemand wusste was ich wollte, Ich glaube das sagt alles.

Very nice and modern hotel. Clean rooms, nice staff. The breakfast was clear. A pity that at 6 people at the breakfast table we only got 1 small coffee, but after several requests there was a second one.

Very nice hotel in the middle of Leipzig, close to the central station. Very good access to public transport. Grocery stores and restaurants in the heart of Leipzig. The rooms are very nice size and clean. Great view on the upper floors via Leipzig. Always happy to return.

We were not at our own request because our originally booked hotel was overbooked, but with the first second we felt totally comfortable here. All the staff are absolutely nice, courteous, courteous and yet personal — just as you would like to be a guest. The exterior is certainly a matter of taste — for me rather a concrete block — but the interior is all the more impressive. Also we had a beautiful and clean room on the 22nd floor with a view of the city centre including. A little surprise. It is not necessary to emphasize that all food and drinks are of high quality, but it is just so. Thanks for the nice weekend!

Pretty busy. Weekdays mainly business travellers. Staff very impersonal to condescending. Hotel overall has come in the years. Breakfast very varied and of good quality.

Hotel of the upper class. Excellent service, very good food, excellently equipped rooms. The ambiance of this hotel is luxurious and the location in the middle of Leipzig in close proximity to the main train station is ideal for exploring the city.

Great building, well-presented facilities and both polite and capable staff. Only a 5 min walk to Leipzig city center. Rooms are however getting a bit worn and could do with a bit of a refresh. Parking is outside and a short walk away from the entrance.

The cocktails in the hotel bar were good. However, something was put on the table to nibble and did not say that it costs anything, the Gehypte Roofbar was not nearly as good. The cocktails were only average.

Located in the heart of downtown Leipzig. Breakfast was varied and plentiful for all guests. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Ambience is superior class.

The ballroom is computergestützte New, very finde and the catering is perfekt.

We made a stopover there on our trip to the Baltic Sea. Very nice hotel, top rooms and very very friendly and helpful staff. We are always happy to return. Our little mouse also enjoyed it very much and it was treated as a full-fledged guest — which is rare in many hotels. Our was very nice and we had a great view over Leipzig.

28 years after the first time I was back in this hotel, I was not disappointed. Central location, modern clean rooms, great view of the city (25th floor). Somewhat confusing the restaurant situation. Very friendly helpful staff, parking can be much cheaper in 3min distant parking garage at the zoo. Highly recommended.

We were surprised at the entrance to the hotel over the spacious lobby and the beautiful ambiance. The bar on the left in the lobby is cozy, drinks and cakes delicious.
The room was comfortable but homey. The bathroom was sufficiently large and possessed — what unexpected joy! — A bathtub.
The breakfast buffet is great!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the service in the bar, which looked after us particularly nice.
This hotel is fully recommended for us.

A beer and away… too bourgeois.

Loved the hotel, & enjoyed Leipzig. Went for a visit to Colditz castle, somewhere I have always wanted to visit. Staff are lovely and speak perfect English.

Friendly staff, very nice rooms. Breakfast and dinner (buffet) were plentiful, varied and delicious. Parking is directly in front of the hotel. I had forgotten something after checkout, this was then sent to me after quick and friendly contact. On my own account, I was also guilty;). A visit is certainly worthwhile.
PS: The view on the upper floors is super.

Great Hotel just two steps from the old town, nice rooms with great service. The friendliness and definitely the highlight. The Ciglegina on the cake is definitely the piano that accompanies the evenings in the lobby of the hotel.

Not a real Westin in my book. No private lounge (they reuse their bar on ground floor), the king size bed is not the heavenly bed, the suite is a bit strange in its setup with the bathrooms adjoined, Gym is not 24:hours but starts at 6:30am, breakfast is not automatically included even for SPG Platinum (had to trade for the 500 points), suite room is not well lighted for work. On the positive side, it is quiet, despite being next to some construction. It is also nearby the main train station, about 5 min walk, the breakfast is really good, staff is helpful, there is a pianist on the ground floor in the evening, gym facilities are decent, good water pressure in the shower.

Very high quality recognizable already at the foyer. Lobby is a bit gloomy, but should be so. Ballroom was very nice, big and open.

Stayed here quite a few times for business, staff are always helpful, breakfast is good, bar staff are very good, rooms are always clean and tidy, beds are comfortable albeit the duvet could do with covering the whole bed and pillows need doubling over to get support, I've tended to find a few drinks at the bar before bed reduces this frustration though. Overall though I wouldn't hesitate to use again. Keep up the good work!

Excellent level in all services. It would be better to include some small cadeaux in the price (bottle of mineral water, small beer, candies) as happens in similar structures.

The room is spacious. View is nice. Tables in the restaurant were well spread so that we can enjoy our breakfast in a relaxing and comfortable way. The breakfast buffet offers good variety and good qaulity of food. Service overall is friendly and helpful.

Westin wants to look really nice and give you the impression that it is an international hotel of a high standard. BUT… The room is very warm and the AC is extremely inefficient. The Wi-Fi is agonisingly slow — doing anything but writing emails is almost impossible.
The rest of the hotel looks cool, the breakfast is good and the draft beer is cold. However, I think Westin should be able to get more out of this hotel.

Fabulous hotel in the heart of the city, walking distance to everything. Great dining options within the hotel and immediate areas. Take a walk in the early-late afternoon and find a local eatery, catch a train to Berlin, or just people watch from your room out the windows. I'd stay here again no questions asked.

Very nice staff, especially the guys at the bar! The bar menu is extensive, everyone will find something delicious there.
The breakfast was great and also there all the staff were very nice and polite.
The rooms are not the most beautiful but quite spacious and clean in style.
The hotel is very close to Hbf Leipzig and the city centre is only a 10 minute walk away.

Air conditioning can't get room below 23 degrees so room is always warm. If we open the window for air the room fills with pollen triggering our allergies and the noise from the construction site next door is very loud even though we're on the 19th floor. "King size" bed is two sagging single beds pushed together. When we spoke to reception about this, they sent up room keeping who put a thin — towel — over the gap and a king sheet over the top. Complete joke. Woke up with sore necks and backs. Bathroom is nice but small. Water pressure in shower is ok. Room is clean. Won't stay again based on the bed experience.
