Go so, friendly, we had no Wifi and if then only near the reception + small swimming pool + sauna free, room = everything a bit old.
Rustic food.

Very nice people family business. Eat very good and plentiful. Rooms clean and tidy. Not for people who love the modern.

Cons: 1. Unfortunately, the reception did not work for the benefit of the guest. 2. The mattresses, pillows and other furniture (couch) are partly totally spotty (blood stains and other stains on mattresses and pillows). Mattress saver not present. 3. Sparse lighting in the corridors (risk of falling). 4. Some rooms are creepy. 5. Value for money … well …

In the picturesque volcanic Eifel, in a beautiful quiet village, built as in the rock, reminiscent of a castle, with great rooms and a small swimming pool, the kitchen is also really recommended;-)

The location is nice for bikers, enough parking, large rooms and fun pool.

The hotel is located in a beautiful setting on the edge of the forest. Unfortunately, however, this is also the only thing that is positive. The staff are totally overwhelmed and untalkative. You have to "pull everything out of their noses. " There is nowhere for any information about breakfast, swimming pool, etc. Everything you have to ask and don't even get normal answers. On the day of arrival, our room was not ready and we had to wait over 1 hour for it to be cleaned and finished. Even then, it had only been cleaned on a surface. Dust in the bathroom, foreign hair in the shower, half-heartedly cleaned sink and toilet. The room generally looks very "consumed. " Holes in the linens, torn couch with stains, old furniture. The food was okay, but you really noticed how overwhelmed the operation was. Things were constantly forgotten and you had to wait a long time to be served. It's a shame for the hotel, because you could make a lot more of it.

A family run Hotel with a nice Pool, and a Sauna. The equipment is simple, it must be noted that the price-to-performance ratio. The Breakfast is good and sufficient, The staff is friendly and the food in the Restaurant is excellent. Recommended for nature lovers, dog owners and bikers.

All in all it was a good stay. We were there in April. On one day the Sunday dinner was a disaster. Everything swam in oil. An additional ordered ice cream Amarettobecher was muddy and the Spühsahne had been totally lost at the serving. I also found a grey plastic part about 1 cm in the ice. After the demand, nothing was done, even on the invoice I found the 5, 50 euro again. There's no such thing. The rooms were good, the location of our room offered a concealed view. Mattress very good, bathroom newly renovated. For a walking and cycling weekend, on the whole, OK.

Room for the price OK. Service catastrophic. The food I had personally was insufficient. Everything comes over very Leihenhaft. Conclusion Never again! Not recommended at winter time.

So the one star is available for the food which was really very good. The rest was a pure disaster we were 4 adults and 2 children. Let's start at stairs so to the rooms located in the attic just dangerously not secured not illuminated many single invisible steps 3 people have fallen. Continued with the rooms affectionately said we thought this is a hoax completely outdated, broken and dirty. Safety standards simply do not have smoke detectors of the fire extinguishers the TÜV 11/96 had expired. Loose cables and open cables everywhere. It is simply a cheekiness to offer such bays as beautiful hotel rooms.

Nice and quiet hotel with friendly service and fair price. Great surrounding and a perfect location to use as a basis to explore the Eifel and Luxembourg.

Good afternoon I was there in March 2017 and I have to say for 3 stars the cleanliness is quite fine not like licked but ok.
The lady at the front desk was also nice and helpful.
To wander really nice and very quiet.
That eating was the absolute howler! I'm often in good restaurants and I have to say that "a la cart" eating is really great! Price performance also top! Choice though low but what offers is offered is star cook quality.
See us again next year.

The star that you have to give now in order to be able to evaluate at all is, in my opinion, already too much. Here you will be assessed how much money you have. When we came in, instead of a friendly "Good Day" we were greeted with a compassionate look. The receptionist reportedly had to discuss all the decisions with the boss and the boss herself was highly condescending. The room was the opposite of the rather beautiful impression from the outside. But how do you say so beautifully? Outside hui, inside pfui. We were transported to the most remote and rancid room, whose windows were not even insulated. At dinner again these pitying glances. We were assigned the lowest and worst place at the passagestairs and one could only dream of a service. While the other guests have already been served, we have simply been overlooked and when asked about the other menu, we were shamefully mocked behind closed doors. The receptionist reportedly knew nothing and always had to ask the manager to answer a question. Pretty incompetent and disrespectful. Never again. I can't recommend it.

Nice views, athmosphere and people. Bathroom could be bigger but suffices.

I can not understand at all the bad reviews. We have spent three days there and were completely satisfied. The images here are precisely the reality. What do expect some people?
The hotel is very large and when it is similarly occupied, I can imagine that can be parked directly on the doorstep. Oh, God, you must run then just a few metres. The reception is up a staircase on the first floor. The whole hotel is very winding and you need something to navigate to. But that's all, no problem, if it is not fully employed.
We had a relatively small room with private bath, walk-in shower in top condition. There was no mold and nothing. Really very nice. The beds were average. Not soft, not hard. The whole room clean and well kept. So does the whole hotel. Anyway, that what we've seen of them and we have been actually in many rooms of the hotel out of curiosity, because it was now late November almost completely unsourced.
The pool is a dream. So lovely hot water in a fairly large pool.
I guess just under 20 m long and 8 m wide. We have can not using the sauna for temporal reasons. It's not very big. There are a few fitness equipment and a ping pong table. All in good condition.
Staff: the people we met were all very friendly and helpful. When I read the criticism of others, I ask myself what hotel you were?
Maybe it depends on a bit, as they call into the forest.
To eat: we had half board and have not grown disenchanted also there.

Looked as closed! Front door completely weathered, have not dared to descend, it was just too bleak, in the huge House, just as a man behind the front desk, room looked quite alright.

Had logged on for 23 h (train arrival) the day before. Upon arrival (on time), everything was pitch black. I could not find the entrance and had to shine with your mobile phone. Stumbled in the search after the entrance on steps on scaffolding. Nightmare! Insisted on a solid 15 minutes, then opened the sleepy innkeeper me. Completely impassive, not a word of regret.
Hotel is rather unkempt and Loveless operated.
Room o. K. Bathroom good. Dreamy environment.
The hotel needs a different leadership and modernization.

Top hotel! Personnel flop! Unfortunately, the staff is not friendly, and would not have to respond to legitimate questions. The rooms are nice and modern bathrooms. Other staff and 4 stars are possible.

Nothing, bad service, breakfast not at the agreed time. Pool not found. Parking is difficult.
