Unfortunately, we were only there one night, but we liked it so much that we would go back at any time. We can agree with all the positive reviews. Kindness, cleanliness, beautiful room! Delicious breakfast. Very nicely located for nature lovers who like hiking. It is very quietly located and you can park comfortably near the room.

The food was excellent. A very wide range of Hessian cuisine with fresh ingredients. We were thrilled and will certainly come back.

The restaurant is very idyllic at the edge of the forest. Romantic ambience.
Everything is fresh. The card changes regularly on a seasonal basis. … you can often go to eat there and always find something new. Typical Hessian food in part recreated. But you also find something completely new, such as wasabi ice cream or a tonka beans cream… both tasted… Divine. The Lago Forest has rightfully earned three stars! But don't worry… there's no "chic Micki", but really big portions. Vegetarians have a great choice here and even vegans have a menu. Even the beverage menu leaves nothing to be desired. Enough raved! On the other hand and enjoy!

Our schnitzel had been fine, the fries were way too soft. The sour roast was rather modestly prepared. The meat was totally dismembered and the red cabbage dry and not seasoned at all. The operation was very friendly, so three stars.

On the 14th 02.18 We experienced a beautiful Valentinsabend. The house was nicely illuminated inside and out. The tables are romantically and tastefully covered. On this evening there was only a special 4-course menu for Valentine's Day with an aperitif "hibiscus kiss" champagne with Hibiscus refined.

We had the pleasure to stay at Gasthaus Laubacher Wald last week. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. What made our stay particularly good was the hospitality of the owner and his staff who looked after us so well. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good too!

After a Tour we returned yesterday in the Laubacher Wald. We were lucky, Monday is open. Of the inner premises are to me only the toilets known.
