Review of Hotel Schloss Rheinfels 4*

Romantik Hotel Schloss Rheinfels — Our Fifth Visit I first met my current partner at this Restaurant and Hotel. She chose this restaurant for us to meet the first time, because of its food, atmosphere, view, and location. She made a great choice and we have been back at least five times since. It is a very nice hotel and restaurant with a great view of the Rhine River. The food is a bit expensive but great. The restaurant is a great place to meet someone or celebrate. The restaurant tries to fill all wishes. One can order a complete meal on the menu or pick and choose parts of a complete meal. We did have one bad experience on my 59th Birthday, where the Restaurant although we told them twice and they acknowledged our reservation, they were not ready when we arrived for my Birthday Breakfast. But as an apology the Hotel gave my partner and me a certificate for a free ride in their ‘Old Timer’ vehicle. Which we used 6 months later, for a ride along the Rhine River and over to their Coffee House called ‘Loreleyblick Maria Ruh‘. It was a great gesture and we had fun. We again recently had dinner at Hotel Schloss Rheinfels Restaurant. Again the food was a bit expensive but great, the portions OK and the even though my partner mixed and matched he meal, they bill was fair. The service was great and we received our favorite table, as requested. We enjoyed the wonderful view from above the Rhine River before, during, and after our great meal. Positive: The great food, great service, and great view. Negative: Parking cost unless you are staying in the hotel. So you have to pay, if you want to have the privilege to eat here.
