Very great atmosphere, nice staff, beautiful ambience, delicious barbecue buffet, spent yesterday my 10th wedding day there, all very nice. Only the weather could have been even more beautiful.
I'm looking forward to the ABBA Dinner Show next year! This year was unfortunately already sold out.

Pleasant stay. Room good. Ambience appealing. Service good. Early and midday buffet rich. Conveniently located. At night, however, slept with the window open. Wi-Fi free, TV new model, many channels to choose from. Mini bar, who needs it.
Was a seminar stay. Finally, a training outside the major conurbations.

The food was great, thestaff was friendly and funny.

We celebrated our daughter's wedding here. Very nice rooms and nice, courteous staff. The food was really delicious. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel room. Bath was a little smaller and already clearly old, but everything was impeccably clean. Dinner and breakfast were good. Particularly noteworthy would be the beautiful beer garden or the outdoor area with pond and lots of greenery.

We were there with our parents for brunch. So I only rate this and no rooms or the like.
The offer at brunch I personally did not think was good. For the price far too little choice and also not varied enough. The warm dishes that existed also tasted rather "solala. " Wouldn't go there again for brunch.

Genialer Ort für betriebliche Veranstaltungen, Übernachtungen und Essen. Überaus freundliches Personal, Man kann sich super entspannen und dort wohlfühlen. Großer Parkplatz direkt am Hotel, großzügige Lounge, freies WLan für Gäste. Absolut zu empfehlen.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. Unfortunately something has come up in the years. An investment in the future could not hurt. Food is delicious. In buffet form. Well suited for seminars and meetings. Staff is very friendly. Small drawback, located right on the expressway.

We've been here for the second time now. Restaurant friendly, service attentive. Ample parking spaces available also some paid individual garages. The room completely furnished, TV various programs, unfortunately all without HD. Also two radio programs available. Sound quality, but no sheet music. The Badentlüftung could be better. Therefore four stars. But we like to come back.

We were completely satisfied, food (buffet), service and very committed staff… We like to come back our wishes for the birthday party were all met and very child-friendly one is here too, I find in this day and age very nice.

Restaurant: Disappointing something in the years, but even with outdated furnishings, one can expect at least at the price Nivea, that is not decorated with artificial flowers like the cheap Chinese around the corner.
The food was fine, but not anymore. The well fried and crispy breaded meat swam in a tablespoon or more oil on the plate. Two minutes of oil draining makes even my inexpensive country inn and that should not happen at the price level. We will not come back, we have been quite expensive, not really bad mistakes, but no more.

We were there for a birthday party. The room was very clean. Style of the room about 70 years. Buffet unloved and meager, but tasty. Service very careless up to the unfriendliness. Unfortunately very very sloppy become a pity… was formerly a great hotel.

We are always happy to have brunch with the family. Weddings, baptisms and round birthdays were celebrated here. The New Year's Eve dinner is also always a great and stylish year-end. The card in the Blue Duck has become smaller, but the dishes are delicious and regional. For those who like quiet, dignified and harmonious, the Blue Duck is recommended.

The hotel has heart and charm and you always feel at home. The staff is insanely nice. I can only recommend it. I've known it since 1985 and it's nicer every year.

The free Wi-Fi was upgraded recently, in the download area, I guess around 50 MB, it dials when you turn on your device with Wi-Fi immediately without detours in "BERG. "
As part of a business trip, I was able to get to know the hotel in more detail. It's not just a conference hotel, many family gatherings take place here. The Waldhotel has been family-owned for decades, thanks to friendly and helpful staff, meetings and other events can be successful.
The kitchen has long recognised the trend towards down-to-earth cooking and is shopping for local produce. Various restaurants within the house such as the "blue duck" — the á la carte restaurant and the "dragonfly" offer unique, culinary experiences.
A wonderful outdoor area with a large free parking space round off my positive overall impression.

I had experienced a super nice weekend there. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of choice. The hotel bar is also highly recommended. Michael the bartender is really top. Only recommended.

Today I was invited to a 90 birthday at the Schäfer Mountain in the restaurant for lunch. I was less convinced by the local, because when the food was finally served, it was forgotten to pour in the wine. This is actually a mess that the guests have to pour in the wine themselves. That should not have happened. And for a 90 birthday, a 3-course meal is a little skimpy. The salad was completely absent, but the dessert was totally disproportionately. None of us could make that. It would have been better to serve a salad and a smaller dessert. I will certainly not celebrate my birthday in 5 years.

Super crowded bathroom/toilet, no effect of air-conditioning, salty to the fried dinner potato, the speed of the very slow wireless network online …, it is difficult to imagine a so-called four-star hotel can be so continuous dumbfounded reaction! A hotel with a lot of mines.

We booked for leisure travel, wanting to explore Kassel and had a very positive experience. Booked the hotel on short notice. All staff at the hotel was more then friendly and helpful – way beyond our expectations. Rooms are European sized (small for Canadian standards) but we found it enough for our 2-night stay. Our room was clean and nice. A bit far from downtown and major attractions (except Schloss Wilhelmstal) you will need a car. Lots of parking and an awesome butcher shop right beside it. Breakfast and supper buffets were outstanding and on Wednesdays the supper buffet included wine. The hotel itself offered some entertainment opportunities as well (e. G. Pool table). We would book there again.

The accommodation is very nice and bright set up I like best is the dining room of the hotel. Always happy.

Rooms are old-fashioned/unfashionable, television, mini, tiny bathroom, eat — want to be happy, and can not, Wellness is not present, a Bar in the basement, hardly any guests only participants, no shops in the area, no reason to sleep here, four stars — for what.
