We were on a weekend twice in the Cathedral. First of all: We were served on both days excellent, not Intrusive but with a lot of heart! The Beers are really very good, the Domcraft is fantastic! The food is served in large portions and is of very good quality. My Highlight of the spring roll with blood sausage stuffing, served with a great Apple-ginger Chutney were!

I was there with classmates on a school trip (class of 55) and the place is big but comfy and the outdoor facilities are spacious. Food is excellent and it’s a short walk to the Dom and the Rhein. Great place.

Terrible service
We received the wrong food and after we received the correct dinner they billed us for everything! We had to wait to complain to the manager for 20 mins!

Have discovered the great beer garden on a tip from locals on our day trip to Speyer and could even find a place on the hot day. Under large trees that provided us with their shade, we enjoyed the delicious beer from the in-house brewery. The staff was attentive, friendly and fast, the prices appropriately fair. A very nice stay and a visit here really recommend to everyone!

Very good food and beer with very friendly service!

Beautifully located under chestnuts beer garden. In fine weather, getting a table is associated with luck — we had it. After a short time there was already a very friendly and attentive waiter at the table. We placed our order and although all the tables were occupied, the drinks came immediately and the food after a short and absolutely acceptable waiting time. Quality and quantity are sufficient. During our stay, our table was regularly included in the route to see if something was missing. According to our desire to pay, it took about two minutes for the bill to come. With such a successful stay, there is also a tip.

Domhof — We live near Speyer and that's why we visit the great beer garden again and again in summer. Nice service, fast service and delicious home-style cuisine. 5 stars.

The beer garden is great, the in-house beer sweet! Staff fast and friendly. Always well visited, therefore one often shares the table with other guests.
Inside, the choice differs, there are even more dishes on the menu.

Located directly at Speyer Cathedral, this restaurant offers excellent food and the best homemade beer in Speyer, in a cosy, rustic ambience. The service is friendly, attentive and professional. If you want, you can also make yourself comfortable in the beer garden. For tourists as well as for locals, a visit to the Domhof is always an experience. The Domhof is definitely worth a visit.

Located Directly on The Speyerer Cathedral, you can sit in the Beer Garden under old Chestnut Trees and enjoy the home-brewed beer. Food and value for money are also right. Operated in Costume and friendly.

In a restaurant by the cathedral, where the tourists romp around, there are still humane prices. Of course, the self-brewed beer is also interesting — if you don't have to drive. But I was also well served with the alcohol-free.

Right now the best Maibock I've ever drunk. I advise everyone on Bockbier — > YOU HAVE TO DRINK IT! ;-) Speaking of which, the team stays and is simply the best I've ever seen and experienced. Super nice and everything goes brisk. Sry I'm a fan I just like it! :-)

We have been here more often because the central location of the inn is great. But the waitresses are seldom friendly, rather stressed and forgetful. The small portions and encampments are annoying! Example: Domhoftopf contains 3 small dry medallions with a few mushrooms and Spätzeln from the pack with lots of butter. Without salad and drink this dish costs 15, 50 euro! There is nothing to be felt about the quality of the chef. Anyone who owns a microwave can do that. Unlovingly prepared and served in a pot where the noodles already swim in the sauce, for such a restaurant with "top class" is a no go!

Very good food, even on weekends without reservation, it is possible to find a place there. The waiting times are absolutely acceptable. The food is at a very high level, the in-house beer is absolutely recommended. The conditions are very friendly u the prices for the quality reasonable.

Excelente Kitchen, superb setting, and brewed beer on site of very good quality.

Too bad we were in the Domhof for the first time last week. The children were quickly served with their schnitzels, which gives advantages. However, we both adults had to wait a whopping 90 minutes for our schnitzels, despite repeated requests. In addition, the table has not been cleared. That is, plates of the children's food and the appetizers were on the table until the end. Whether we would like to have a drink was also never asked. There was also no discount when it came to paying, let alone a small ice cream to make amends for the kids. Too bad, we don't come any more and we won't recommend it. The 78 Euros for 4 schnitzels with side dishes and salad as well as a daily soup can be spent elsewhere in the future.

Super nice controls and fancy! The beer is simply the hammer to date for me the best beer in Speyer. I will bring my colleagues with me soon. ;-)

Located next to the historic cathedral of Speyer, the Domhof Haubrauerei attracts with the finest Palatinate delicacies. Especially the saumagen and the tender ox bakes are a dream. The hearty meal is rounded off with a cool light from the in-house brewery. I am also happy to ignite one or the other shotgun in the beer garden, after the summer enjoyment of a sausage salad. Just gorgeous!

Great food, very nice service! Was a really good choice for a delicious dinner with friends! Ox cheeks were top! Duck the Firecracker! Juicy, tender and crispy! Beef Roll of the finest! Steak of high quality and fried to the point medium! The high score is really impressive! Thank you very much!

Cosy, rustic ambience. Unfortunately, our food was almost cold. Tasteful average. Price/performance for 3 small (lukewarm) little loin on Fertigknöpfle (which were declared as noodles in the card) with mushroom cream sauce. 15, €50. No salad. Taste was OK. Waitress was nice and said she would pass on our complaint to the kitchen. Does it matter? I don't want to test it in the near future.

This is an amazing restaurant and serves some of the best beer I have ever tasted.

Despite many tourists and a corresponding orientation time and again very good. Not exactly cheap, but inexpensive. And in summer a beer in the beer garden outside makes things even better. Overall very recommended.

Beer is enjoyable, though it took about 30 minutes to get beer and pretzels.

We were in the Domhof with a larger group for Christmas dinner. The reviews in Google also spoke in favor of that decision. But then we were rather disappointed. The quite policy-like and totally unfriendly way of the staff has been particularly negative. Unfortunately, the principle here is not lived that the guest is important and, with his visit, also pays the wages and income of the staff and the owners. The service was grotto poor and that was the opinion of all 18 people.
There was also a lot to be outset when eating. The soup was cold, the meat either very dry or not properly fried through. Considering that the eatery is supposed to be an institution in Speyer, we definitely couldn't understand that. No one will visit the Domhof anymore. There are some much better addresses in Speyer.

Good food with a lot of choices (not theright place if you only eat Halal or you're vegetarian). Service is very good. Pumpkin soup is a fabulous choice!

Hearty, good, very nice staff; As a group (20 persons) We unfortunately only got a special card. Why actually? I have found this restaurant always very well attended and all the other people looking out of the normal card? Understand who wants to. The toilets are on the first floor, the staircase is well walkable. It is very nice to sit in the beer garden, if the weather is there. The restaurant is located near the Speyer Cathedral, parking spaces at the cathedral or on the grounds.

I love this place. Friendly employees passionate about their wonderful beer. The brewery is also situated in a quiet spot with a colourful garden. Great way to enjoy a glass or two of beer.

No better place during a hot summer day than sit in a traditional beer garden under the shade of lots of trees, enjoying a good Schnitzel with Spaetzle and having one of their home brews …

The food was top notch and the beer, we need to talk, of Course, you have to take for a little money in Hand, but that is not the reason for the lack of 5. Star. Rather, for the lack of air conditioning, we dealt with yesterday, almost, and outside, the special card is not served. Nevertheless, a clear recommendation!

Good beer and fast service!

Beautiful, rustic ambience! Despite the full restaurant, we got a table very quickly. The service was friendly and the food order was made quickly. The lamb back with herb crust and the ox bakes were 1a, very tender and also the children tasted their Spätzle well. We didn't have to wait any longer for our food than anywhere else. Very tasty cyclist! We are happy to come back!

Good prices and great beer.

Strolling down the pedestrian zone in the center of Speyer you can't miss the impressive Dom zu Speyer. Right next to it is the Domhof brewery. Typical German food and a never-ending list of beer choices guarantees a long enjoyable dinner. The (Gastgarten) outside seating is huge — you will find plenty of people outside enjoying the warm days of the year.

We have not stayed while there, but the beer garden is a stunner!

Lovely Ambience and Rustic look… Person at front desk was good … had a quick check in.

For a short break, we are more likely to be random in the Domhof landed. And I must confess, this peace (in the centre), has us surprised! The house is very cheap and at any time on any traveller's to recommend. The price/performance ratio is right.

We were in room 24 of the main house. Since that evening I quite like a movie I have to say, that the TV for two was something small. The conditions at the reception changed, but were overall very friendly. We have for 5€ per day in the underground car Park are rented. Funny thing was that the hotel Gasthof were separated, which means that you can only have Breakfast but in the evening À la carte in the building next door to dine. Overall, this was our holiday very nice. Ps: In this area you can find very much to look at.

Parquet floor, comfortable KingsizeBed, very clean and spacious. The TV is Mini, but who need even television? However, rustles the heating something in the room 45.

This Restaurant offers for every taste the Right.

I had a single room (standard room 95 €) in the first floor of the main house. The set up was unloving and uncomfortable. The rooms are spacious, but with a bed, wardrobe, chair, Desk very sparsely equipped. A chair or other comfortable Seating was missing. On the other hand was the brand new bathroom is functional, clean and well. The Breakfast buffet was good and sufficient, but on the overrun is neither the premises nor in terms of operation prepared. It was loud, hectic, crowded and appropriately uncomfortable. New incoming Frühstücksgäste are herumgeirrt and have places searched. In the drangvollen Close to the front Speiseraumes was annoying. Nice is the location, directly on the Cathedral square. I recommend because of the hourly Glockenläutens but strongly ear plugs.
