We stayed a week in one of the renovated apartments with terrace and loved it. The apartment was great for the 3 of us with dog and was really nice & comfortably furnished (we especially liked the great pictures on the walls 😍). Admittedly, there is not much to do with the "kitchen" (refrigerator and 2 hotplates), but that is simply no different in terms of space. Swimming pool we liked, as well as the modernized area around reception / restaurant. We used the buffet restaurant 2x each for breakfast and dinner and were thrilled! Delicious food and great, extensive selection including drinks.
You can see everywhere the recent investments in the park. It was a nice holiday week and it is not excluded that we 😉 come back again.
In the surrounding area, the summer toboggan runs Peterberg and Erbeskopf were particularly interesting. Also the enchanted forest within walking distance is very beautiful.

A few years ago, the swimming pool had come down quite a bit. It was invested and a lot renewed. Now you can go back and have fun.

As last year everything is great. Food delicious. Even if the apartments have come of age, it is fine. Criticism comes from my daughter. The Wi-Fi is too slow for her.
We will definitely be back.

Beautiful magic forest,
the nature is breathtaking.
There is a lot to see around castles, toboggan runs, animal parks, swimming pool.
It's definitely worth a trip.

Today we were in the swimming pool for the first time in the Hambach Valley near Birkenfeld, I expected more to be honest. The bathing facility is beautifully designed, but it has partly come of age, the showers in the men's and women's area have partly not worked at all. What a pity.

The swimming pool and the main building where you can play Billiard and table tennis, and cosy sitting can drink something. The Animation is also very good.

Fereinpark, back to the 80's! 4:3 television and the houses are very old. The swimmingpool is great, big and modern. Great places in the surrounding area to visit. The photo's on the websites are from modern and restyled houses, but… yes, you get a old one…

Nice getaway. Plant somewhat out of time but the price-performance ratio is right. Apartment was clean. Staff very friendly. Swimming pool great. Especially our bath attendant Sven was simply top. The kids were thrilled and the parents relaxed.

Everything has come a little in the years but beautiful large areas that invite you to dream in the green.
