Julius in der Pfalz Hotel

We spontaneously spent two days in Julius and enjoyed the time there very much. The yard, garden and rooms are beautifully designed and simply unbeatable in combination with a well-stocked wine shop. The breakfast gives you a glimpse of the host's cooking skills… we'll be back, hopefully with a cooking workshop!

We were once again at Julius in der Pfalz. As already usual, we enjoyed the stay very much. Very good food and the matching wines, we were treated to an evening of Julius and a winemaker. The Breakfast and as always, nice contact to the owners made everything around it perfectly. Many thanks for that! We will come again, soon!

We were in the Palatinate for the first time and were very curious about what is coming here. The reception was very friendly and we relaxed in the beautiful courtyard with an in-house bottle of Grauburgunder (excellent and also tastes at home). A wonderful weekend followed with excellent food in a great atmosphere. We are happy to come back!

We loved the warm welcome and the beautiful property as well as the lovingly designed apartments and rooms.

Unfortunately, our expectations were disappointed. The rooms and the quality of the food offered were good although the heating in the room was broken at the time of our stay. The host (male part) we experienced as quite unsympathetic. He blamed the participants of the cooking course for poor cooking performance, worked consistently annoyed and stressed. In fact, he supervised the participants of the cooking course more than to cook together with them relaxed. With his pedantic fuss, he ruined the atmosphere.
We had just come for the cooking class. Food was at 23.00. Then the delicious meat was perfect at five o'clock of the plate. Some older participants had already considered whether they should wait for the food at all, or whether there might still be a sausage somewhere in the village. All participants froze because of the cold rooms, took jackets and warmed themselves to the oven. The host went over it and was more interested in whether the onions were cut in millimeters for the sauce. After all, the wife apologized the next morning.
The concept itself is good, the premises also. Only the handling of the guest is definitely upgradeable. We won't be coming back.

We spent four relaxing days here. A very personal reception and the first meeting over a coffee. The beautiful large courtyard impressed us directly. Here we were also served breakfast (in fine) weather. Very varied and lush with homemade jam, various cheeses and sausages or vegetables from the own garden. We have moved into the apartment, it is generously furnished with great attention to detail. This shows a very puristic and individual design. You don't dare to leave anything somewhere, because you also feel at home. Everything was rebuilt by the operators with a lot of love and passion. In the evening they met in the courtyard with a glass of wine (which, by the way, were also very delicious) and a beautifully lit mood in the courtyard. All in all, a wonderful place to relax while enjoying the warm and personal togetherness. Highly recommended! We'll be back!
